The cake was made the way I asked and was very fairly priced. Everyone was so helpful both online ordering and at the store when we picked it up. We ended up grabbing some freshly made kiffles while there too. Cute shop to look around or sit at.

The place is in a small strip mall, next to a gas station and a pizza place and had a board outside advertising their lunch. Walking in I was drawn to the setting of the place as it is very welcoming, minimal display and a decent sitting area. The lady at the counter recommended everything on the menu, but when I told her I was looking for something very sweet, she guided me to "The Persian", which is a donut filled with creme and other goodies and to the "Salted Caramel Bar", which was the largest brownie I had seen. For extra measures I went ahead and bought a White Cupcake as well and started my adventure by finishing that one first. The White was very well made, light to the eating and wasn't too sweet either. The real treat however was the Salted Caramel Bar as just after one bite, I was a full convert to becoming their fan right there and then. Not only is it huge, but there is plenty of very sweet and amazing caramel inside which oozes out as you eat through it. After discovering my new love interest in the brownie, I stood up to go meet the owner of the bakery. She shared that she and her sister had started this place and it was still relatively new. I complimented them for their artistry and asked them to be on Yelp, as that is the only place I get my recommendations. I drove home after buying another bar and kept it in the trunk so I do not have easy access to it. This place is far from me, but I will find any excuse to drive to that area to pick some of those brownies and The Persian. Well done ladies, you have a fan in Connecticut!

Chicken parmigiana with mini shells( instead of spaghetti), a side salad and Italian bread. My hubby had his usual meatball parm sub and fries. My salad came out, simple lettuce, cherry tomatoes, and cucumber, I asked they hold the onions and peppers.. our dinner came as I was just finishing my salad. Everything was steaming hot! My first bite of the shells and sauce was a little confusing for my taste buds. I timidly expected a sweet sauce( but don't like sweet sauce). My next forkful was AMAZING!! No sweetness! Just pure tomato sauce with all the correct seasonings which my mom or Baba would have used. I grew up eating spaghetti and meatballs or meat sauce at least once a week! And here was that wonderful homemade sauce! Savoring this meal made my day! So glad we decided to make a second visit! We will be making many more.

Denise helped us at front counter and great to learn the majority of this family are busy in the business in one capacity or another. We decided on a few slices of different counter pizza and a steak sandwich, side of fries. Sandwich was tasty and needed more meat for the size of the roll. Anyplace can serve a 10/12" roll yet sparse meat. I base my review on the taste of the sauce, the quality of the food and the service.

Mike our server, was very friendly, attentive and efficient. He has a great personality and is a single dad and a hard worker. My husband and I have a particular affinity for hard-working servers as we used to be them. We used to be the ones giving up all of our holidays to wait on others, but now we're finally benefitting from the fruits of our efforts and enjoying restaurants on holidays as customers & not servers. We both opted to get the Filet Oscar! First though was The Ststion salad with mandarins, strawberries, slivered almonds on spring mix with mango dressing. We enjoyed it so much. The chunks of sweet highest quality crab meat over perfectly cooked 8 ounce filet, Medium, was as good as it gets. The hollandaise sauce was the best I've ever had- rich, tasty and I could taste the lemon in it too- I loved it! We also got dessert! The towering chocolate cake and cream puff! I cannot wait to enjoy my leftovers! The Station has always done wonderful holidays. Valentines is no exception with tables bedecked with lovely flowers and glittery heart in a mini vase. The restaurant also provided a beautiful long stemmed rose. John and Mel run a great business and we are very happy to support them and this wonderful business. Awesome all around!

We arrived a little ahead of time but were greeted and seated. We had a group of 4 and we ordered our drinks first they have a full bar and do run speciality drinks like my wife's choice of a Blue Christmas Martini the others at the table ordered wines and beer. Our server Steve is one of the most professional waitpersons we have ever had the privilege of having serve our table of 4. My wife & BIL ordered the OSCAR* with the Charbroiled Salmon topped with Lump Crab & Asparagus and topped finished with a Hollandaise Sauce. My SIL ordered the Crab Cakes these Chef made speciality are loaded with lump crab. I o decided on the Faroe Island Salmon grilled Faroe Island Salmon finished with a Strawberry Glaze and topped with toasted almonds.
