Either way, everyone's a winner. The petting zoo is much larger than others in the area, giving the pets and the customers a lot of space to roam around. You can buy your tickets online, or with the QR code on site, or with cash at the booth located at the zoo entrance at the top of the hill past the upper parking lot. The farmers market provides amazingly fresh produce, fruits, veggies, baked goods, and a pre-made food selection. You can order a fresh sandwich, sides and soup. A delicious bonus. Somethings look out for include sparce parking at the top of the hill where the farmers market is, but plenty further down and towards the greenhouse. Also seating to eat is located in the back past checkout in the playground area that is also lacking a number of tables, but make meeting new people an experience when sharing seating. A fun adventure rolled into one location.

We started lessons again in May and we're not impressed with the rude interactions we had with the new owners but decided to give it a try. The farm attracts large groups of people who do not wear masks or maintain social distancing. Even when the staff was alerted to the fact that they were not following social distancing guidelines this practice continues. On our last visit on Friday there were easily fifty adults and children wandering around none of whom were wearing masks or social distancing. The management doesn't care. When confronted with this, the owner Zev, said it wasn't his job to enforce masks on his property. In addition, we have witnessed groups of children mistreating the animals. On our last visit a child was holding two baby chicks and running around pretending they were airplanes. Animal abuse to which no one said a word! Absolutely disgusting! The owners have just flat out lied on several occasions claiming to have signs requiring masks when in reality there are no signs requiring masks for entry, only a recommendation for social distancing which is not enforced or followed. I have reported this business to both the Rockland Department of Health and the NYS Department of Health. It needs to be shut down. They have shown a flagrant disregard for the health of their staff and visitors.

They have several food trucks with lots of different choices. They have a nice farmer's market that is nicely decorated and has plenty of items for sale. They have a great selection of pies too. The farm was beautiful and well maintained. Playground was in perfect condition and even looked new! the kids definitely had so much fun. We went to their orchard and it was very organized however the PYO apples seem pricey for a small bag of $8 or $12. This was a separate purchase from the admission ticket which also included the orchard entrance and their hayride. During our visit (Sept) was also an event so they had vendors and a live band which was neat! there were enough tables/chairs fyi. We also tried their homemade icecream and I absolutely enjoyed their pumpkin patch milkshake and their special caramel apple cider slushie float which included an apple cider donut! it was so good! they also sell apple cider donuts and other homemade breads and pastries inside their well kempt shop! sure enough we had a lovely visit at their farm and would love to revisit again some day soon!

The sandpit even has toys like dump trucks - my kid would be perfectly happy to just stay there and call it a day! The condition of everything in the main areas is a little grubby, however. I appreciate that they put out plenty of chairs and benches all around for parents to sit on (cos waiting for your child while they play is an unavoidable part of the game), as well as some picnic tables. Prices are fair and reasonable, and entry for kids under 2 is free.
