West loop veterinary care is absolutely wonderful. Parking is never an issue for me, the waiting room/exam rooms are always clean, and the staff are always very friendly and caring towards my dog. I've had to call in a few times with certain questions from home and have always had nothing but polite and helpful interactions. I can't say enough about Dr. Edwards too. She is an amazing veterinarian. You can tell she has a true passion for her job, not only from her knowledge about my pet but because of the attention and exceptional care she provides every time we come in for a visit. read more

I had a rat come into my apartment and my cat had it in his mouth (he let it go & didn't kill it!) so I called them and the day of they fit me in the last appointment so I could make sure he didn't get bit by the rat. Kinda pricey (I usually go to a place in the suburbs), but everyone was suppper sweet and they loved my cat. Didn't think I was going to get to take him back home! It's really nice they stay open until 8 pm so if something happens you can go after work. read more

West Loop Vet stands strongly for empathy and compassion and this is SO important. The hospital is immaculately clean. You will NOT find a cleaner vet office than this one. Trust me, I have been to many. They don't even come close to how clean this facility is. The patients' well being is so deeply cared for. They refer to all of the pets as "children" and treat each pet as their own. They are very patient and will answer any question you may have. They also have a room where owners go when they have to make that very difficult choice of euthanizing their pets. The room has bottled water, grief support information, a couch, and it's very comfortable. They want each patient and their parents to be as comfortable as possible during such a difficult time. Even after a pet is euthanized and taken away from the pet parent, they are never left alone in the treatment area. Even afterwards, they have a profound love and respect for these animals and their clients. In the treatment area, no patient is ever left alone. Surgery patients are always closely monitored. All of the doctors have a tremendously gentle and loving approach. The doctors genuinely love what they do and it shows in their knowledge and care. While it may be pricier than other places, you can be assured that you are receiving the absolute BEST possible care for your pet. Your pet will be in the best, most loving hands. They use state of the art instruments and are always keeping updated on ever changing animal medicine. Unfortunately the first time we visited West Loop veterinary care it was to put our dog to sleep. It was such an emotional time and the staff did an amazing job at making it as comfortable as possible. The room they use for euthanizing your pet does not look like a treatment room and has a comfortable couch and a blanket for your pet to sit on. They explain everything to you explain the process and they ensure that you are comfortable with it. You can choose to stay to leave however you want it done they will accommodate you. I would highly recommend this veterinary centre as a place for all your routine and And of life care for your loved pet. read more

So after moving from California, I started asking around about vets in our neighborhood and West Loop Veterinary Care came highly recommended (by coworkers and Yelp alike). I found Dr. Gonsky to genuinely care about my dog, and took the time to discuss her history and any issues we should be aware about, especially since we had moved from suburban Southern California to downtown Chicago (and the different care a dog needs because of that). Austin has been licking her paw for over a year now, and our previous Vet had diagnosed it as allergies but nothing we did made it better and we ended up pegging this behavior to bad habit. Dr. Gonsky wasn't down with that explanation and we found out that it was actually an infection that can be treated easily.. awesome! I found the facility clean and staff professional and caring. I especially appreciated that Dr. Gonsky himself called to check-in on Austin after our appointment. More importantly, our dog loved everyone... now if only I could get over my own fear of doctors... read more

The bad: My cat is scared of his own shadow. He's the most loving creature I know. But, he's also a big pussy. That leads me to... The good: There's a separate entrance for cats so they don't have to be near dogs. This keeps my scardicat from freaking out. The Better: The clinic is hospital clean. Like, a real people hospital. The equipment looks brand new and the staff didn't have blood on the lab coats which I think is a good sign in the vet world. The Best: Dr. Gonsky loves my cat. The rest of the staff are very caring and it feels like they love their jobs. Everytime I'm there I see someone on the staff talking to a cat or dog in the dopey animal voice I use when talking to other animals. Only someone who loves animals uses this voice. I definitely recommend West Loup Vet. As an animal lover, I'd want more animals to see these guys. read more

I got two very tiny teacup-sized Pomeranians (Kodiak and Cheddar) a month ago. I wanted to take them to a place nearby when one of my puppies started behaving strangely and vomiting. West Loop Vet was only a few steps away from my apartment, I called immediately telling them the situation, and they got me in quickly. The moment I walked in, the vet techs and front desk staff were amazing...they loved on my puppies and I felt like we had all been old friends! They're extremely friendly, conscientious, professional, and upbeat. They all clearly care about animals and their jobs. ;) Dr. Gonsky as a person -- unbelievably nice and welcoming. As a vet, very sweet with my scared pups and very professional. Seeing as my puppies were only 1 and 2 pounds, he didn't take any chances because he knew how quickly they could go down hill, and put him on some antibiotics on a hunch. His hunch turned out to be right, and my puppy was fine and bouncing around the next day! The next time I went in for there shots I got my appt with Dr. Pappas. Like Dr. Gonsky, she took the time to explain everything to me slowly and clearly...both vets were very through. They are gentle with the dogs, loving, and never strictly clinical. They treated my dogs like their own. The place is definitely pricey as some other reviews have said, but you get what you pay for with most things in life...and I've definitely received high-quality care. I can't speak highly enough about this place. I was referred to this practice by a friend after taking my dog to a different vet for a chronic issue that was not resolving. My boyfriend and I had recently moved to the West Loop when our dog got really sick. We had no clue what was wrong with him and feared he was having a stroke. We had not been to West Loop Vet Care yet and when I called they referred me to the emergency clinic to which I promptly said no - I hate that place. So- they squeezed us in for an emergency appointment at 10 am....our dog was in such a state that my boyfriend and I decided to just bring our boy over there as soon as they opened and wait. We figured that if something were to happen or get worse we would rather be waiting there then waiting at home. So yes... we pushed our way in and I am ever grateful that we did. They took one look at him and took him straight back to the doctor. The reception staff was amazingly clam and patient with us and made us feel very comforted and welcome. Fifteen minutes later the doctor came to get us and thank goodness had good news. He was not having a stroke - he had vestibular syndrome - never heard of it? Join the club - pretty much no one has which is why this place is AMAZING. The doctor gave us all the information and support we could ask for and even made follow up phone calls for several days following to check on his progress. I am just thankful that the people at West Loop were knowledgeable and informed because this could have very easily been confused with a stroke. They are expensive...yes...but do you really care? read more

Fantastic treatment, great prices, little to no wait, and they give your dog shots in front of you so you know what's happening and don't have to worry. My husband and I became first time pet owners this summer and to say we are a little neurotic is the understatement of the century. Before bringing home our golden pup in July, we did a TON of research and based on the stellar reviews we found on Yelp, decided to take her to West Loop vet, specifically to Dr. Gonsky. We could not be happier with our choice. Having no clue what to expect at all from a veterinary office, we were pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to get our dog established as a new patient and get her in for an appointment (they have super flexible hours which is great for our crazy work schedules). Dr. G could not be any nicer and was so patient during our first appointment (where we literally asked him 100s of questions). He is extremely knowledgeable and really helped calm our new-parenthood nerves. And, he didn't look at us like we were nuts when we asked what were likely VERY elementary questions : ) We have since been back several times (for minor things - again - we are super neurotic), and are always able to get a hold of someone. They've even called us to follow-up and see how the pup is doing. I hope we don't have to go back too often, but if/when we do, we know our little girl is in great hands. read more

I moved to the city recently and didn't have a vet to take my dog. She had developed a bad ear infection and needed medical attention. The staff was very professional over the phone and got us in to see the vet. They also transferred her medical records from our previous vet where we used to live. Prior to the visitation, they called to confirm the appointment which is very helpful since we all lead busy lives and can use a friendly reminder. We arrived about 10 minutes early. It was a very nice, clean place - it didn't smell like a vet's office if that makes sense. My dog usually is terrified of the vet. She was happy and wagging her tail probably thinking we were at a spa. The receptionists at the front were very helpful, nice, and gave all the dogs that walked in plenty of attention. We met with one of the vets who was very nice and seemed to really know what she was talking about. I had to take a star away because hey were running about 35 minutes behind that day which isn't terrible for a doctor's office because all the other reviews talk about how punctual they are. They did acknowledge they were late and apologized but the reality is, they were late. I also felt very pressured to change my dog's food - almost like my doctor knew what was better for her after five minutes. Don't get me wrong, she was very kind and knowledgeable, but I didn't feel we were coming to a decision together. For me at least, it's important that a plan is made together because they were a new doctor and I knew my whole dog's history. It's not a huge issue and more of a personal thing, but just something to be mindful of. In the end, I will still bring my dog here - no place is perfect of course, but they do come close. I believe they do practice quality medicine here and will be a returning customer. read more

After moving in a block away from west loop veterinary care, I tried to take my cat here out of convenience, even knowing that the prices were high compared to other places in the city. However, I was never able to actually bring my cat in for an appointment (they wouldn't schedule one). My cat was having issues with her litter box (which she has also had in the past). I tried calling to set up an appointment, and to my shock, the appointment scheduler without listening to what I was saying, told me that I needed to take my cat to the ER immediately, that I had waited too long, and that the result could be fatal. Um, what? She started having issues that day. Anyways, after this shocking phone call, I frantically called my regular vet in Lakeview, who assured me that I definitely did not need to go to the ER and had me bring her in to their office next morning. They spent the day observing her and running tests, and couldn't find anything wrong. They suspect it was a minor bit of colitis. She is now fine. Needless to say, I am certainly glad that I didn't waste my money and time at the ER and I won't being trying West Loop Vet Care again. read more

I can't say enough good things about WLC and Dr Gonsky. When I first noticed that a new vet was opening up in my neighborhood I was extremely excited - I have a diabetic cat that requires more attentive care than just regular yearly 'wellness" checkups. Dr Gonsky took the time to learn all about my cat's previous treatments, what steps I had already taken to manage the situation and to work with me on the best course of treatment. I have worked with him ove the course of the last few years and he has been incredibly attentive in the followups. When he was recently experiencing some additional issues Dr Gonsky took the time to do a very thorough exam and look at all possible causes for his illness. When we reached a diagnosis Dr Gonsky took the time to explain all possible options and outcomes as well as costs, time commitments, expectations and the like. When it was discovered that the cancer had progressed beyond a point of comfort for him Dr Gonsky and the entire staff were so compassionate, understanding and incredibly supporting when the time came to put him down. While being a painful experience the staff ensured that it was done in a very respectful manner giving us all the time we needed and explaining everything that would happen. This is an extraordinary bunch of people who really take the time to know their patients and ensure that they are well taken care of. I know that when the time comes to bring another pet into my life I will definitely take them to West Loop Vet Care read more

Update - my bully, who apparently likes to get eye infections and ear infections, long story shot she got the worst of both she has ever had. So I call, and because I'm like every other person in Chicago and way to busy, they got me in on emergency. They do charge a extra fee, which I find odd when they have openings, but whatever it was only $20. Meet Dr. Coleman - Between her and Dr. B, I've never met more caring doctors than them. This experience is about Dr. Coleman. I was a little tentative to see another doctor (usually see Dr. Boiling but he was unavailable), but am happy I did. I told her I wanted this issue fixed, and asked that she do what she needed to do. After countless tests, and a good $500 spent, she came to a outcome that I think will make my bully feel like the queen she is and should be. Dr. Coleman even stayed late to make sure we were well taken care of and that I understood everything she wanted me to do. At no time did I feel rushed or hurried, quite the opposite. This is impressive as it was the end of their work day and we were there a good 45 mins afterwards taking care of my dog. 5 starts to Dr. Coleman. Although I do think they charge a premium, I believe you get what you pay for. Ask for Dr. Coleman or Dr. Boiling, both great in my book. read more

I just transferred my dog to this animal hospital, and I couldn't be happier. The staff here is always friendly, the facilities are spotless, and the technology is up-to-date. We didn't have any problems with our old veterinarian, it's just that this facility is so close to our condo, the service is just as good (maybe better), and the prices are competitive. I first met Dr. Gonsky and his staff at an Open House event that they had in May 2010. The facility is bigger than it looks from the outside, and they've got all of the available equipment for everything from routine examinations to emergencies. When I transferred JD, the staff called his old vet to get his records faxed over -- I didn't have to do a thing! At check-in, they took his photo, scanned his microchip, and weighed him. I thought it was pretty cool that they had the scale out front in the waiting area -- this seems a little less nerve-wracking for the dog when the owner is around. We were then put into an examination room, and Yann, the certified vet tech came to take his heart rate. Yann was so patient and calm with JD, offered him treats and waited until JD was comfortable being around him. They never lifted JD onto an exam table -- instead they got on the floor to his level to make him feel more comfortable. After they took JD's vitals, Dr. Cutright saw us; she is the relief veterinarian on Fridays. She was also very patient and calm with JD, and also got on the floor to examine him. I have never seen a veterinarian put so much time and care into seeing a patient (and owner) -- this was very refreshing. She had a lot of good advice and tips for feeding and dental care. If you live in/near the West Loop and need a veterinarian for your pet, this is definitely the place to go for personalized quality care where you and your pet will never feel rushed. read more

When our pup developed a lump after vaccinations from another vet, that vet recommended a pricey dog dermatologist who then recommended a pricey surgery. We went to West Loop Vet for a second opinion and fell in love. They immediately recognized it was a vaccine reaction and took the time to do additional research and comb through the medical records. They handled the situation with the utmost care and knowledge - and most importantly, no surgery needed! We recently moved out to the suburbs and had to take our pup to the animal hospital. West Loop Vet quickly faxed over all the records to ensure our trip to the ER was smooth. Then they followed up with a call to make sure Ellie was OK - and recommend a vet in our new area!!! Not many vets would take the time to do this, especially for someone who is no longer a patient! All the staff, and particularly Dr. Gronsky, are incredibly caring, attentive and compassionate. I cannot say enough good things. I would absolutely recommend them and at this point, am even considering taking the trek into the city to continue my dog's veterinary care. They have taken amazing care of our dog Henry and have been thorough and thoughtful during every exam. The veterinary technicians are outstanding and every doctor we have seen is fantastic. More recently we have been seeing Dr. Maria Racioppo. She has made it to the top of the list for favorite veterinarians. She has called us several times to check in on Henry and further discuss his care. I can tell she really cares about our dog and has a great approach to her patient care and the way she communicates with the owners. Let me start by saying that I love this place. I think the 5 star rating given by ~50 reviewers can attest to the quality of the service that you receive from West Loop Veterinary Care. The vets and technicians are very knowledgeable, and if they don't know something, they admit it and try to find the answer - which is great. You know that you're getting an honest opinion. They offer extremely personalized care and attention. Prior to an appointment, you get an email stating all the upcoming treatments to be received at your next appointment, plus a postcard to remind you of your appointment. Post visit, you get an email and a follow-up call from a technician to check in and see if your pup is doing well. They provide a lot of communication and explanation, which keeps you in the loop with all of your dogs medical needs. The facility is extremely clean and well maintained, and is very well staffed - I've not had to wait more than 10 minutes to have my dog seen by the vet, and I've never had my call missed during the hours on their website. I've heard that the prices are a little steep, but we have insurance, and I think the extra care received is definitely worth the cost. read more

I took my first Wheaton Terrier here for a second opinion after he was diagnosed with a tumor and I got the kind of thorough information I hadn't gotten at his previous vet. I am the proud mom of two bengal cats, one of which has had some chronic health issues. We'd been to quite a few different vets but when we found Dr Steve Larson at West Loop Vet,I knew we had found our home. He is extraordinarily caring and persevering. The technicians here are all wonderful. When I got a second cat, they carried him around the office to show everyone Isa's little brother! We always get a call the day after an appointment to make sure the cats are feeling ok. The offices are sparkling clean and they have great up-to-date equipment. I had to rush my other little kitty (Abu) to the emergency vet on Clybourn the other evening, and as part of the routine check-in they asked me for my regular vet. I said West Loop Veterinary Care, although Abu has not yet been (it's where I take his older brother). Apparently they were notified about the emergency visit and promptly reached out to check on us the next morning at 8am on the dot (just a half an hour after they opened). What incredible customer service! They really treat you and your pets like family. They also helped an overheating puppy I found with some vagabond kids at Randolph Street fest. I tried to put up with it for a year, but recently when picking up a medication (Usuallly get two month supply for $50), they only filled 16 tablets, at a price equivalent to $120 for two months. Five stars for Yacker and Boling. I have an older pug and an allergy riddled pug. They give great advice and believe in Integrative care. They made some suggestions I chose not to follow and they remain supportive and great listeners. It's not cheap, but these are my babies and I believe in these vets. Shout out to Patrick as well, he is SO NICE on the phone and the girl at the front desk with cool hair rocks too (manager maybe? Cool ombre hair with bangs?). I adopted my dog Jolie from a rescue. She had some hair loss which Dr. Gonsky correctly diagnosed as a hormone problem (from her spaying at another clinic) that cleared up over time on its own. Her teeth were also in very bad shape and Dr. Gonsky did a great job fixing them. I was impressed with how much Dr. Gonsky cares Jolie and patiently addressing my concerns. Even after her dental cleaning and extractions were done and I took her out to pee she didn't mind going back into the office to finish her discharge consultation. After that she watched Dr. Gonsky walk away and wanted to follow him. I was amazed and needless to say I highly recommend West Loop Veterinary. read more

I adopted my french bulldog, Frankie, when she was 5 yrs old in August 2019. West Loop Vet had been a great vet for checkups/shots/anything for the year and a half I had her. Everyone from the vets to vet technicians to receptionists had always been so pleasant and caring anytime we called or came in. Two weeks ago, we had to put Frankie to sleep after a four month battle with terminal cancer and I had spent a good amount of time researching where we should go when the time came (cost was a factor I was nervous about which is why I looked around first). Because of our previous relationship and familiarity with WLV, it made the most sense to have the procedure done there and I would highly recommend WLV if you ever have to make that impossibly tough decision. Dr. Esser and Natalia were patient, supportive, and explained everything during the entire process. Natalia came in the room when I was ready to leave to stay with Frankie so she would not be alone and that truly meant so much to me. The cost was also not nearly as much as I was expecting (although that will vary by each case). A few days later, they sent a sweet card in the mail that Dr. Esser and several vet technicians and receptionists had signed who knew and loved Frankie. I picked up the ashes yesterday and again, the receptionists that handed them to me was genuinely kind; the cremation service that WLV uses is also incredible. Thank you for making an unbearable situation as positive as it could have been. read more

Dr. Gonsky is a great doctor. He is very attentive and takes his time while discussing the issues with you. He didn't rush in and out with some BS answer like most vets I have experienced. Our cat is overweight and has had issues with UTI's about once a year. Dr. Gonsky suggested we put him on a wet food diet and called it the "Catkins" diet as it is higher in protein and lower in carbs. He also recommended glucosamine chondroitin as our cat has a leg problem from being too heavy. He thinks it will help him get more active to lose weight and prevent a future blockage. I will return to him with our other cats :) read more

We originally started taking our cat to this vet at the beginning of the year for urinary issues. He was unable to pee in large amounts and visited his cat box several times throughout the day. At first, they seemed to know what they were doing, but our cat never really got better and we were tossed around between 3 or 4 different vets. After a lot of money, a few medications, and some tests we found out his urinary problems were probably stress related, which resulted in us being prescribed Prozac for cats. We'd heard of cats being on this before and were okay with it because he has high stress and separation anxiety. We got him on this and had him eating SO food and after about 4 weeks we noticed improvement in both his stress and urinary problems. We hadn't noticed that he had tapered off eating and then stopped eating entirely. Soon we realized he was very thin and his bones were sticking out. We took him back in and they wanted to keep him on the Prozac (7.5 mg, which is super high) and gave us more meds. He didn't get better, but got progressively worse. We took him back again and after a blood test, found that his liver values were way high. We asked if it had something to do with the Prozac and were told that it shouldn't affect his liver and we would have to do x,y,z and spend a ton of money to basically 'save' him because he was deteriorating so rapidly. We decided then to find a different vet. Our friends recommended theirs to us and we took him there. I will tell you from the start they were night and day to this place. They had a separate area for cats so they aren't stressed (this place does not). They offered us water (this place did not). They had diffusers of pheromones for the cats in every room and fresh tuna on hand to distract the cat. They took the time to talk to our cat, to be gentle, and do things on his time rather than manhandle him and speed through the process. They actually listened to us rather than steamrolling over us like this place did. They did not believe in prescribing medications right off the bat willy nilly, but rather wanted to figure out his issues naturally first. In this case however since he was deteriorating they did prescribe an anti-inflammatory and an antibiotic, but wanted us to taper off the Prozac and then stop it altogether. The other vet did not get the records for our cat to this new place but thankfully I had asked for them personally several days before and was able to provide our new vet with those. Now our cat's blood work and liver count is back to normal and he's doing much better. He still has the urinary problems but rather than throwing a million medications at us, this new vet is figuring out his diet instead, which I think should have been addressed at the very beginning with West Loop Vet Care. What makes me the most angry is that the reason my cat deteriorated so much and would have had to go under a very intense procedure or possibly could have died was because this vet put him on Prozac and a high dose of it from the get go and told us that had nothing to do with him not eating or his liver and wanted us to continue with it while it's widely known that a common side effect of Prozac is anorexia. And by the way, our new vet told us that it was most definitely the Prozac that caused this and his liver may not be the same after the damage that was done. We spent over 2k with you and were literally in tears almost every day for about a month during his digression watching him wither away. I have told anyone who will listen about this story and they all know about your clinic. You do not come off as caring about animals or their owners and you nickel and dime your customers. I am mad at myself as well for not seeing it sooner, not listening to my gut when it was telling me something was wrong, something was off. I trusted a vet because that's their job. I just took my minpin to see Dr. Gonsky for a bandage change on his paw. The staff and facilities are A+. Dr. Gonsky took the time to show me around the hospital, pointing out their state of the art equipment. Another huge plus is the greeness of the place--there's a list at the front desk of how they built it out with low flow toilets, low VOC paints, etc and their everyday practices include recycling and being as paperless as possible. Not that I want my dog to get sick again, but if/when he does I look forward to going back. read more

Aside from simply forgetting, one of the reasons I haven't taken the cats I "inherited" to the vet for a few years is the fear of traveling with them. I was very happy to find a vet very nearby, and a top-rated one at that. I've heard numerous cautionary tales (no pun intended) from friends and family who feel they were taken for a ride after scheduling for simple wellness exams, and the Yelp reviews for such places support this. I found both staff and doctor at West Loop Veterinary Care to be very professional, kind, and genuinely interested in what they do. Exams were very thorough, and Dr. Gonsky was kind enough to explain to me everything he did. The practice is well laid out, the team worked like clockwork, and I venture to say that the office visit was the easiest part of the day for both beasts. West Loop Vet is the best place to go! We have been going there for almost a year with our first dog, Matilda when we took home another chihuahua, Sophie, in May. She has received the best care from them, too. Sophie brought home a cold with her from the shelter she was at. Both dogs kept passing it back forth for over two months. Dr. Gonsky and his staff took the time to help us and make time for our numerous calls and visits. Since they are both very tiny, Dr. Gonsky didn't want to give them too much antibiotics. He had a pharmacy make them the proper dosage. That was really nice! It's easy to over medicate these guys, and knowing that their doctor is on top of it makes us feel more at ease. Everyone is so great here! The vet's office is one of the only places where Matilda will behave 100% of the time. It's because everyone goes out of their way to make them feel welcome and safe. They always make sure that the girls are comfortable during every part of the exam. They also give great advice for behavior correction and pretty much anything you wonder about. After seeing how my cat was doing on a different diet and with no improvement, I decided to get a second opinion. I did that mainly because the owner/vet suggested a bunch of different tests which I felt would add up to a lot of money in one visit and I preferred to get another opinion. The second opinion does cost money because you have to re-establish with a new vet. So, my concern isn't fully money based but more based on, does another vet agree that the approach is to run a bunch of tests at once because they feel that is the best way to assess the cat's problem. When I arranged the second opinion with another local clinic, the front staff at West Loop Vet called me to get release approval and I called them back right away. Turns out than in a matter of a few minutes they had already released the records (which was fine with me). But honestly, why did you want me to call? Was it so you could smugly say, "should we cancel your account now?". I explained that I was going for a second opinion on the cat and I hadn't given any thought to canceling my account (relationship). Once again, I really liked Dr. McFadden and I think they are trying to run a class act business. It's really really unfortunate that the vibe from the front line is not consistent. read more

I've been bringing my pup here for about 3 years and each and every visit has been amazing. From all of the top notch doctors (I've seen 4) to the techs (who are all fantastic as well) to the front desk...this is by far the best veterinary clinic I've ever been to. And that includes visits over the last 30 years to vets in OH, IL, NY and SC. Everyone is super friendly here and they all go above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect for your furry friend - you can tell they genuinely love what they do and that really can't be said for so many others. To reiterate all the other reviews, these docs really know their business, and rarely have I experienced anywhere else the genuine, effortless way they interact with my dog. I've been here so many times for off-routine visits - from random sicknesses, to eye scratches and infections, to a recent 1" ear tear from an incident with another dog...and each and every time I feel so at ease when I'm there and 100% reassured that everything's going to be fine when I leave. In short, if you're looking for a vet, look no further!! read more

I wish I could provide more than 5 stars. I have been taking all my dogs to West Loop Veterinary care for years. Not only do they provide exceptional service, but they truly care about every animal that comes through their door. My dogs tend to be very dramatic and the whole staff is very patient with them.
