Waiting in that line was a bit of a bummer, it took a long time but I wasn't expecting swift customer service at the library. The selection here seemed alright, but it is a smaller library. I didn't stay for very long because every single table was taken and there was absolutely more talking and noise in here than at my home. I know quiet conversation is allowed but there are no dedicated quiet zones here.

I brought my niece to Green Valley Library so we could maybe read a couple of books and hang out. The parking is a bit of a walk, not far, but it can be a bit challenging if you have kids or elderly with you. Luckily my niece ran with me so we made it safely across to the front and we were ready for our adventure. When you walk into Green Valley Library you're hit with a huge ceiling and you see a couple of employment agencies for people. That was pretty neat, it was set aside from the library, and it had chairs and benches for people who needed that service, and there is also a little stand where their security is guarding the area. The library in general is pretty small! However, the children's section is setup in its own little area; the bathrooms are within parents' eye view, and there's also a water fountain if that's your fancy. They have plenty of chairs and tables for families to do their homework, some writing/drawing and coloring. Green Valley has a sign on the tables that say you can enjoy coloring, snd they provide you crayons, but no paper or sheets! So if you're looking to do that, try not to forget those items. We were able to grab some scratch paper by their computers- and we made it work! We still had a great time. Their play area is small, and the toys are very basic. They have little chairs for your kids so it was cute seeing my niece have so much fun in her own little space. We read a book, and she had the best time browsing choosing out what she wanted to read. Overall it's a great little library for your kids if you need somewhere to study. I felt like a kid agains it was quiet, full of books and smelled like books! The older section also has a study pod that the librarians can help you use if you need it, which I thought was super neat and modern. Oh, you also check your books out electronically! This place was just a treat for me! I'm sure my niece had fun too, but if you're in the area, stop by!

I also like how they provided a space just for grad students since the student population is mostly run by undergraduate students. Lied Library has a very modern feel but incredibly spacious, lots of computer monitors if you don't have a computer. Librarians = also incredibly helpful! Overall, yes to Lied Library!

I enjoyed visiting Sunrise Library the employees were helpful, and answered questions that I asked. I was able to check out a laptop for an hour and a half. Only because the libraries open at 10a.m.-6p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sunday's. Monday -Thursdays they're open until 8p.m. If I'm ever in this area again I'll return. Now I do have to request that they start spraying and wiping the very nice black reclining chairs from the pissy stench that was very loud whenever I sat in the chairs towards the back wall. I had to make sure it wasn't me smelling like a wet babies dirty diaper lol. Just kidding, I knew it wasn't me but Hey, I'm at that age to where it can happen by accident lmao. With the children grown now, and the days of homeschooling past us. The days of the library seem like a distant dream. We are reawakening the days of old . Dust off that library card, in fact mine expired. It's now all renewed. It does not even cost a cent . Our library here hosts a collection of events that are free or cost so less that you would not even have to pay much for your entertainment expenses. Some of the shows here are good. We used to exist here. Not so much now, but many times and hours spent here. If you have not been to this library come on over it's got multiple levels and little nooks to hide with your favorite book. They have videos to check out and you might be surprised that they get in all the newest titles . You can reserve that one you want and pick it up too. The power of the library is like the power of the universe all in your mind. Think it up and see it to fruition.
