I remember going to the library with my mom when I was little. I enjoyed story time and doing arts and crafts. I now want to pass on those fun memories to my children. This library has a lot to offer. On Mondays, Three Square Food Bank does its weekly produce hand out to those in need. There are a ton of activities and resources they offer for children of all ages. We come here weekly for toddler story time. They also offer programs for adults. Check out all their information online. All the employees here are super friendly and informative. The library itself is nice and clean and the books are in good condition. They have a small play area for kids which includes kitchen, a large wooden dollhouse, blocks and magnets. My son enjoys coming here and playing with the other children. I love that you are able to check out 50 items at a time and have a big time frame for returning them (3 weeks). I'm definitely a fan of this library and you can catch me here on a weekly basis.

Well I am not much of a library customer so i am not sure how other libraries are. So just wanted to put that out first. So I went into the enterprise library, located on south Las Vegas blvd. To charge my phone due to my battery being low and I forgot my charge cord for my car. First thing that really shocked me was a security guard patrolling inside the library. I was not sure why a library would need a security guard. I definitely found out though. So I went back to the work station and all I seen was about 12 or 13 homeless people sitting around the tables and desks. About ready to fall asleep or sleeping. Then in a few minutes the security guard came around and woke everyone up, for the to fall back asleep after he left. So as I was sitting in a chair looking at a travel book, the security guard and a library employee came and trespassed someone whom almost started a fight with the security guard and employee. All this within 20 or 30 min of me getting there. This all being said the library has a decent amount of books not like I remember when I was a kid but still a good amount. Has about 8 computer stations you can use for a hr at a time. Also has some study rooms and a kids area. Has a small but decent magazine rack and some audio tapes. Although the book sections were not very well organized and the books put anyplace. The library was neat and clean. Like I said I am not to big of a library patron so I am not sure how to compare this with other libraries, I was just giving my first impression to help you know abt this location. I won't say not to go there maybe this is normal or par for the course for public libraries. So best thing I can say is to just expect this, and enjoy the library if you decide to go. Also the parking is huge so that should not be a issue.

This is a fantastic library, so nice and quiet tucked away on the far end of Las Vegas Blvd . It has a great resource center with computers for adults, children, the faxing and copy center someone might still need in this electronic day and age. The staff are so sweet and friendly to aid anyone whom needs help in navigating the library. The library allows patrons to put items on hold and pick them up at your convenience, with self serve check out of items that the patron feels part of the whole library experience. The library has a beautiful art that they place inside for patrons to view, meeting rooms, and even a dj studio. What else could one need. There is always a police person on site for evil people who would want to spoil that quiet day. Nestled in a great surrounding with Vegas wildlife and cactus a great little walk around the property is in order too.

My kids are 6 and 8 and love the library. They usually have computer availability for when we need it, they have a lot of programs for the kids to do, homework help, and the staff is helpful as well. They library is clean and they have a great kids area for the kids to play and do puzzles. Another great thing is they have a second for AR books for kids to get to help them reach their AR goals at school.

Can someone please tell me how to open these DVD's?

You have to use the slider thing next to the computer where you check out the books and dvds. You slide the side of the DVD until it turns from red to green.

Whenever I've had a question at the front desk or needed help checking something out, I've never had to wait long. One of the best things about this location is the self-checkout system. It's super easy to use ... you don't even have to scan each book, DVD, or video game individually. Just place everything on the scanner and it checks everything out at once. They also have a great selection of PS5, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch games, which is something a lot of people probably don't realize libraries offer. The DVD selection is solid too. It gives me a little nostalgia of walking through Blockbuster back in the day. Instead of paying for streaming services all the time, I'd definitely recommend supporting your local library. I usually reserve my books, movies, or games online, and they notify me when they're ready. I just stop by, pick them up, and check out. The whole process is really smooth. One time they even called me quickly to let me know I accidentally returned my own video game with the library items, which I really appreciated. Renewing items online is also super easy. As long as nobody else has requested the item, they usually let you renew it without any issues. I personally don't stay long enough to study or hang around, so I can't really speak on the noise level like some reviews mention and rude employee interactions. For what I use it for ... quick pickups and returns, it has been perfect. The parking lot is spacious, and they even have 3D printers available for public use, which is pretty cool. You can also renew passports here, so the library really offers a lot more services than people realize. I've been to multiple libraries in the valley, including the Sahara location, and this library has consistently been one of the easiest and nicest ones I've been to.

My company sponsors it, so I brought thank you gifts for donors. The Red Cross staff is kind and gracious. I didn't take any photos inside the blood drive for privacy reasons, but it was full of exceptional members of our community set on saving lives. Whenever I visit Centennial Hills Library I always check out the book store, and it never disappoints. I usually get children's books to donate to the Obodo library. This time the books were for me though. I have that Kamala Harris book "The Truths We Hold" in my Amazon cart right now. That's so fun. It would have cost me a lot more than the $1 I paid here. Plus, proceeds go back to the library, so win! As I walked around snapping pictures, the staff wanted me to tell you some things. The gentleman monitoring the resource room invites everyone to come in. He's ready with computers, homework help, and more. The ladies at the desk by the hydroponics said this is actually an adult ed class and you will create hydroponics to take home. They said to come out and take part. The cashier at the entrance to the media section offered that there are so many great titles to choose from in the book store. I couldn't agree more. She added that it's a good idea to stop by first when you're think of shopping for books. In all it was a lovely visit and a beautiful day at the blood drive.

Yelp! review #50 of 2025…read more We come to Centennial Hills Library about once a month for a wonderful writing workshop that the library graciously hosts (huge thank-you to the staff for making that happen every time!). Plenty of free parking, the building is always spotless, feeling very safe and secure - there's even a security guard keeping an eye on the common areas. Public restrooms are surprisingly clean and well-stocked. There's a little vending machine nook perfect for grabbing a quick drink or snack between chapters. The workshop room is comfortable and quiet, and we love checking the events calendar ahead of time because there's almost always something else cool going on (story time, author talks, craft events) that we can pair with our workshop day. This branch is a hidden gem in the northwest - welcoming, well-maintained, and community-focused. We always look forward to our monthly visit and can't recommend it enough!

My 4- and 8-year-old still talk about him, and going to the library just isn't the same without seeing him there. My daughter practically grew up attending his Storytime. When she first started going, she was extremely shy and would cry if anyone approached her. Mr. Patrick noticed that right away and met her exactly where she was. Instead of overwhelming her, he would gently wave from a distance, give her space, and slowly build trust. Because of him, she became more comfortable and confident in that environment--and that means everything to me as a parent. With my son, he was just as incredible. He took the time to recommend books he knew he'd enjoy and would even walk with us to show him the "cool" chapter books. He didn't just do his job--he genuinely cared. He once said, "Kids can tell if adults are nice or not--they are wise," and he truly lived by that. It's such a shame to see someone like Mr. Patrick leave. People like him make a lasting impact on children and families, and those connections matter more than words can express. That said, we are very grateful for Ms. Jessica and Ms. Melissa. They continue to show kindness and dedication to the kids, and it's clear they are loved by the families who come back week after week. Librarians play such an important role--many of our children grow up with them, and they help shape their love for reading and learning. I truly hope our tax dollars are going toward supporting and properly compensating these amazing individuals who are making a real difference in our community.
