Service is getting really bad, maybe they're overwhelmed but it's no excuse for food to be prepared sloppy. Management needs to step up already, require hairnets and demand food be prepared properly. Whoe ever was on the drive thru today around 12:20 was rude as hell . We had forgotten to say the frosty at the voice machine but we made her aware at the window my man then told her chocolate and she told us we was suppose to order over there gives us our food then says u said vanilla and my man didn't hear her ask so I continue and said no chocolate and at the end of everything we still got vanilla . this wendys on central ave in yonkers is very famous or infamous for having the longest lines waiting for the drive thru which is not helped by the uneven design of the drive thru so be careful if you are walking from parking lot to inside which i always do cause it's hardly any folks ordering inside . a few years ago this wendy was totally knocked down and a modern more spacious customer friendly wendys was built . the full wendys menu is available with the 4 for 4 a popular poor folks deal which i could hear almost all the drive thru folks ordering . yeah the workers are not the most upbeat types but who can really blame them so i will give them a pass .i ordered 2 grilled chicken sandwiches no sauce with a large diet coke and grabbed a seat , damn only 3 other people inside which is fine by me . read more

This particular location reopened sometime in the fall of 2015. It has great decor and a pleasant atmosphere. The food is good too--it came out quickly, about five minutes, and it was fresh and hot. I had the 4 for $4 meal. The jr. baconator had crispy bacon, which is rare for a fast food joint, and all of the other food (4 pc chicken nuggets, small fries) I tried was great. Horrible horrible customer service. I asked for no lettuce in my meal, which I am allergic to, I had found lettuce in my wrap. Honest mistake so I took it inside to see if I can get it fixed. Sure they said. Then asked the other girl to make her a wrap with no lettuce. Me watching the cook, she puts lettuce AGAIN. I refused to take it. The lady asked her once again to make it without lettuce and she gave an attitude. First of all, this is ur job serving people, don't like it quit. Second of all you do not speak to upper management like that. However, I saw the transaction of the wrap, where they scrapped off the lettuce after it touching my food. Used to eat here frequently in student days. It was a good location. But I recently used the drive-through twice. First time I ordered onions on my burger. I got two little loops of onion that didn't add anything to the flavor. Second time I ordered cookies -- but they were not included. I complained to the national chain, got an apology, but no compensation paying for food not delivered. Skip this place. read more

The drive thru intercom system is not working properly. I could hear drivers yelling (including me) to make the order because the person taking the order kept asking us to repeat. I hate that. Tried to go inside one time to make my order (and to avoid yelling at the drive thru), but the wait was 45 minutes even though there was only 2 people in front of me. I visited this Wendy's on Sunday, October 30. There was a line of about 5 people in front of us. The line moved slow. It seemed some customers were waiting for food that was not ready. After waiting 10 minutes to place my order, I was greeted by a cashier with the most unpleasant demeanor. Before I placed my order, I showed the cashier a receipt with a discount code (from the www.talktowendys.com survey) from a prior trip to Wendy's which entitles me to $2 off any large sandwich. After handing her the receipt and telling her what it was for, she gave me bewildered look and placed the receipt on the counter. After a couple of seconds, she stared at me and said "what do you want" with plenty of street attitude. I started the order by telling her I want a baked potato at which time she said they have no baked potatos. Again, this was said with the nastiest of attitudes. After encountering such a bad attitude, I decided my girlfriend and I had had enough and started to leave. But then I said to myself, why should I take that kind of attitude. So I walked back into the store and asked the same girl for a manager. A woman came to me and asked my how she could help me. I first just asked her why there were no baked potatos. She responded that they would be ready in about 20 minutes (something the cashier didn't bother to find out). I then told the manger about the poor attitude of the cashier, at which time the cashier yelled that I didn't tell her what I wanted. The manager told her to quiet down and be nice. After seeing that the manager was no better than the cashier, I had enough of this experience and walked out. I have visited several Wendy's over the last month in PA, NY and NJ. Each time I was greeted with smiling faces and a pleasant demeanor. It's a pity that this Wendy's is so poorly managed that they can't even get their employees to treat customers with the basic respect they deserve. read more

Isn't Wendy's supposed to be FAST FOOD?? We waiting on line for 10 minutes then it took them over 25minutes to give us our food. And the soda machine is broke. No discount. No accommodation and definitely no one moving faster. The food is good quality and tastes good but damn this service makes us never want to comeback. This is the third time we've been here at different times of the week where the service has been this slow. Haven't been at this store in over a year. And it will be my last. Food and service was horrible. Wanted to try the new pulled pork sandwiches. Ordered two pulled pork sandwiches and a order of fries. Each sandwich was $5.49. When I unwrapped the sandwiches, there was about a tablespoon of meet on each one. The two buns touched each other like there was nothing inbetween. There was supposed to be cole slaw on each one also, nothing . Asked the worker for ketchup, he made a face like I was bothering him. And when I got home there was none in the bag. Bottom line, never again at this location. I'll drive to the Elmsford location if I want overpriced fast food. read more
