If I could give zero stars, I would. This Wendy's location is unable to get a pickup window order right, even with their new ordering system. For the third time in a few weeks, I ordered a single with cheese, lettuce, mayo and pickles. I double-checked the order screen to see if it is correct. Yep, it was. Manager was talking constantly on here earbuds about her personal life while filling every order she touched wrong. Nobody was getting the right sandwich for several orders during lunch. Add to that the large water puddles in the dining area that were not being mopped up. The kiosk order system was also not working right if you selected a combo with a sprite or any combo meal. This location seems to be rather chaotic. The trash container outside (my first impression) was overflowing, inside there were boxes on the floor, and some workers were just standing around. After I got my food I mentioned to to the manager that the trash can outside needed attention, and he had a look that indicated he asked someone to handle it earlier but it wasn't cared for. well, once again this Wendy has cheated the customer again. on a delivered order of a CHICKEN sandwich it was delivered without CHICKEN. When we called we were told we had to select the chicken option. so...they would not make good on the order. why do you have to check the CHICKEN option on a CHICKEN sandwich? Please just close this location so my family will stop asking to go here. First off, I still have not heard from the corporate office about my last experience. Tonight I sat at the window and handed incorrect items back in exchange for what we ordered. Nobody ever actually read back the order or provided a receipt. Unfortunately I did not pay enough attention and we are now at a park without spoons for frosties, enough straws, and the plain kid's hamburger is covered in catchup, cheese, and onion ( that was a surprise). This restaurant should be permanently closed. Went inside to order for carry out. ordered simple hamburger/fries/soft drink order for my 93 year old mother. Took 20 minutes and the order was wrong! At the drive through a few things: - the guy spilled a drink all over the door of the car in front of us and laughed about it - waited in line for 17 minutes - get to the window there is 7 teenager workers inside joking around not working (hence the wait time) - rude, disrespectful! I used to love Wendys, the food was delicious at a great value. Those days are loooong gone. I recently ordered a spicy chicken sandwich, just a sandwich, not a meal. It was five and a half dollars!! I figured it must be one big hefty sandwich for that price. Uh, nope. What a joke. The processed chicken patty was about 3/8 of an inch thick and fully dried out. There was a single small piece of lettuce the size of an eye patch and a thin slice of tomato. This was something before the pandemic that you could buy off their value menu for a dollar and a half or so. I waited in the drive-thru quite a while...at least 15 min around lunch time, which was moving VERY slow. I've been to other Wendy's around lunch and they move way faster. They were taking their time. Fries were undercooked and the wrong size. Burger was on the luke-warm side. And I really expect you to get my order right...especially when I'm hangry...and ya didn't. This is a prime location for this establishment! From 10:45 am until 2 pm, the drive-thru is always packed 5 cars deep. One of the worst Wendy's around Columbus for sure. My wife and I sat in the driver thru for ten minutes after they said they would "be right with us". I decided to go in since they weren't helping us only to find a bunch of young people "working" that were on there phones and just chilling. I asked to speak to the manager and the female employee asked the manager who then laughed and didn't come over. She then asked him to come over again and when I told him what happened he said "we've been helping people all night". Not sure what that was supposed to mean. I was just making him aware of the situation since we felt clearly ignored. I think it went in one ear and out the other. Female employee rang up my order and it was wrong. She apologized and then opens the drawer and gave me two dollars for the difference. Just really poor management and customer service. This location was so awesome about 5 years ago. Tonight they got our order wrong when it was put in computer correctly. Plus, since I do not eat cheese we had to order from the front and the cashier after we had done the rest of our order from the stand alone kiosks. The cashier was not there and the manager said it is person x on cashier. So they will just have to wait. I mean it was super slow and they had a lot of employees that wanted to help us and couldn't. The manager was super rude and was the one that made our order incorrectly twice. The restaurant was clean so that's good. But in the future we will drive further to a different Wendy's. read more

Well, Wendy's lost our business today. Store #01102142 at 5771 Maxtown Road failed in several ways. Taylor, the host, could have cared less about her customer service skills. First rude, then got the easiest part of her job wrong... Dine In or To Go? We said to go, so naturally she rang us up for dine in. $0.98 dine in tax, thanks Taylor, way to go, girl. Then the food screw up. Three sandwiches, with one being the incorrect kind altogether. I guess being 66% quality correct is good enough there. Not by us, but again, thanks Wendy's on Maxtown! Finally, we took the time to visit the Wendy's www.talktowendys.com feedback site, and turns out that sucks, too. The website did not work well on a tablet (clicking "next" function simply doesn't work... terrible UX. So then we logged in on a laptop, got through the first intro page, but then the date of service field was a dead field, no response could be entered. Great graphic user interface work, Wendy's! We heard you loud and clear today - "We at Wendy's really don't care very much about quality... across the board." Got it. This is a busy area of Westerville with A LOT of dining choices, but Wendy's won't ever be a consideration anywhere, period. At least Yelp provides an outlet for feedback. Thank you Yelp! read more

I work nearby and I will avoid this Wendy's from now on. At lunch the drive thru is slow and they almost always get the order wrong. When I go in to get my straw, fork, or missing food item they treat me like I'm the inconvenience. The only positive is that food is made fairly well for a Wendy's. read more
