Standard Wendy's. We've come a few times to get a Frosty bc my husband loves them. I love the new inventive flavors they feature that rotate with the seasons. Still, the first chocolate is my favorite flavor. They had Thin Mint the last time we stopped in and it was good, but tasted more like a sundae than the frosty as the mix-ins were chunky and changed the texture. Drive through moves fast enough - but we had only ordered a to-go Frosty (one) and had been sitting forever so my husband wanted me to fun inside and get it since there was literally no one inside on a Saturday mid-day. He pulled out of the drive-through and I ran inside and the gal said it would be an issue - but finally worked it out - so I could just get the Frosty and take it. In the end, it took longer to work that out than if we'd just stayed in the line. read more

genuinely the worst service i have ever experienced, cashier refused to acknowledge me, waited 40 minute and my order was still wrong. tried to get a drink but there was no ice in the machine. can't be this hard to make minimum wage. i could have gone to a gas station, 5 minutes before closing, and get better service. read more

Did the drive thru today for the loaded nacho burger combo. I wanted a peppermint frosty, but was told they only have chocolate today. I got a coke instead. The drive thru line was long and they were slow! I thought maybe they were short staffed, but after reading prior reviews this seems to be the norm. The staff was really friendly though and we got everything we ordered. The fries were hot and salty and the nacho burger was amazing as always. They just need to speed up their service a bit. read more

DO NOT EAT HERE!!!! YOU MAY GET FOOD POISONING!!!! I just ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger meal..... the burger was so cold that the cheese never melted in it! The fries were cold! The pineapple-mango lemonade that I paid extra for was not drinkable! It tasted like it was coming from a nasty bottle or old metal container!!!! This is your typical fast food joint. Nothing special. The only reason for this review is because of Liz. I called and had an unusual request and she helped me. She stated right up front that they were short handed which was good to know. I placed part of the order online and part in the restaurant. No problems and it was fast and ready. Very odd experience. I went to order, and as I'm ordering, this short black dude working the counter doesn't acknowledge anything I'm saying. Like he could atleast be like "gotchu anything else" or nod or something but he's just quiet, so I don't know if he got my order until I finish. As I finish up ordering, he hands me a cup, and I say thank you. He says nothing. Besides that, the food was alright. The fries tasted fresh and the burger was a little soggy but not too bad. Yall- it's just another Wendy's. Nothing exciting to see here. Service is slower than CFA (obviously), but faster than McDonald's. If you're really wanting Wendy's this is the one you'll go to in the Hilltop area. I don't know many people who will actually go out of their way to visit a "better" location when they are going for fast food. Doesn't that defeat the whole purpose of it being "fast" food? It's all about location and this one is super convenient. Right by Walmart and Target. Conveniently located off 264 so it's great when you're leaving the resort area and just want to grab something easy. If you're feeling freaky there is a new adult toy store on the same block too. During my last visit my lemonade tasted a little sour, my fries were cold and mushy. The visit before that things were all pretty good, my food came out hot and everything in my order was correct. It's hit or miss- It takes a lot for me to "blacklist" a fast food location. I try to keep my expectations really low for each experience. Employees have been fine- nothing to brag about, but nothing to complain about. I don't expect 5-star service from a Wendy's. This location hasn't done anything to cross the line so I'll keep going when I'm in the area and craving a JBC or frosty. (Oh and you can get that frosty for free if you check in on Yelp) read more

I've never been to a worst Wendy's then this one, placed an order online for pick up. I walked to the Wendy's and with no signage waited outside the door for almost 10 minutes knocking on the door and glass to get there attention because the doors were locked plus its an 85 degree day. When I finally noticed someone bringing food to a car that had to pull up I walked over to her and said hi. I need help. I placed an online pick up order. I don't have a car she said sorry the lobby is closed and tried to close the door. I said hold on. I don't have a vehicle and she told me to get in line in the drive-through and she could help. Never in my life experienced that level of shit Customer Service that enticed me to make a review. The fact that she expected me to stand out in the drive-thu, in front of moving vehicles, and some people might not even be paying attention is ridiculous. Lily the employee taking orders at the drive through should get a raise! We went on Friday at 1 pm and there was a very long line of cars. She was super pleasant taking our order but really showed her work ethic when we got to the window. She was juggling orders, collecting the money, and giving the customer their food. There was an extremely loud employee near her answering her personal phone and screaming that her phone was breaking up. Lily kept her cool the entire time. Be forewarned. If you order a Junior cheeseburger and a small drink. You get what you EXACTLY ask for. If you want a child's small drink, make every way possibly clear that you want that or you will be given a adult small drink. I nosh all the time, which allows me to indulge in the things my doctor really, really doesn't want me to eat. So when I was given a cup that was what was considered a large when I was a kid, I switched it out for the other size. Then she told me that there was no extra charge. SERIOUSLY? I should have been reimbursed. But instead, I ate my burger and filled my small cup with unsweetened tea. Then went up to the counter and told her exactly what I had expected. Problems happened in this order: Ordered food and cashier was way too quiet so we had to repeat ourselves constantly. All but 6 drinks were out and from them only the basic selections, not vanilla, cherry etc.. you pay the extra for the drink for the selection. If I wanted to pay $3 for a large Diet Coke, I can literally go anywhere. No ketchup at the pumps and out of cups, spoons and napkins. 15 minute wait for cold food. I do not get to Wendys very often but decided to go on my lunch break today. I ordered a single with no cheese meal. I ended up getting a plain burger with just meat and bread, along with cold fries and had to wait too long to be able to go back and get my order corrected. I don't even know how to start this review.. Went to the drive thru to get a sweet tea and a spicy chicken Caesar salad, and they had a sign posted on the ordering machine (see photo).. The lady on the mic was clearly struggling as she told me she would be right with me, but left her microphone on and I could hear her freaking out about the computer system, not sure what to do. No big deal. Then when I do finally order a large sweet tea, she asks me what size. I repeat LARGE. I order the salad and say "that's everything" and she says "what else?", so I repeat "that's everything"... I get up to the window and three employees are standing around the computer looking confused. I wait another 5 minutes and another lady opens the window half way and practically throws the bag at me.. Really guys? Even if there are no lines, they are still slow and don't seem to really care about giving good customer service. Today was the last straw. We would have left for something else, but most places we eat at are closed Sundays. There were only three people in front of us, but even with large orders fast food should not take 40 minutes. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I always go here thinking maybe they've changed. Nope. I'm totally wrong. In just this last week, we've had our orders messed up twice. This second time around that we tell them about it, the manager tells us to just call corporate, and her staff is in the background shouting, "They lying." Really? You're not a manager. You're adult supervision over a bunch of grown children that can't even slap a burger together. In total, I've had my order messed up here 15 different times. It's tiring. Don't bother ordering here. Went through the drive through tonight for dinner. We ordered two spicy chicken sandwiches, one pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork topped fries, and 3 things onf chilli. I haven't had Wendy's in such a long time. I almost forgot how good their chili is! We did have to wait 5+ minutes because they had to cook the chicken for our sandwiches but I didn't mind waiting for fresh food. When she brought our food out she forgot one of our sandwiches too.
