Wendy's isn't what I used to remember, definitely has gone down the hole a lot. I ordered the following using the app: - Spicy Chicken Sandwich - 10 pcs of Saucy nuggets with spicy garlic parm. Chicken Sandwich - chicken patty was dried, lacked spice and definitely not what it used to be. Would not recommend. Saucy Nuggets - remove the saucy and replace it with "dried" nuggets. Nuggets that were sitting around under the light, only few nuggets were coated with the sauce unfortunately. The service can be a lot better, waited 20 minutes for my food... what ever happened to "fast food"? The place was dead, nobody inside and almost everyone was using the drive thru, which it seems to move slow as well. I ordered 2 Dave's Doubles through UberEats the total came to $36. For 2 burgers and 2 drinks. Our burgers arrived with no ketchup,mustard or mayo! The burgers were completely plain and dry!! It tastes like jail food! The 2 cokes we got were not even carbonated they were flat. Tasted like syrup. I tried to call Wendy's and there phone number is not active! I will NEVER come here again. Service is usually very slow, and they never get your order correct. Today was especially slow, taking a full HALF HOUR just to get the wrong order. Fast food is supposed to be fast, not take a half hour. The fact that this took half an hour for the WRONG ORDER is absolutely unacceptable. I ordered a frosty, a plain hamburger, and a large fry. What I got was a hamburger with everything on it, cold and soggy fries, and a drink that wouldn't have been bad if the drink machine actually had drinks in stock. There were many others waiting, all frustrated as they waited longer than me for the wrong order. I waited another 20 minutes to get my order corrected. The lady was very nice about it, but didn't refund my order even though I asked for it. All in all the workers were clueless. They claim to be hiring, but I know people who applied just to be ignored. I went to the bathroom, and was horrified. Feces appeared to be smeared all across the wall and floor. I would've alerted the staff, but the man cleaning was busy stacking trash in a pile on one of the tables. Disgusting. Ridiculous. This location is cash money solid. I have always been able to find a clean table and the staff here is always friendly. I enjoy having frostys here. Birds love to bomb the glass roof dining area facing Michigan Avenue. The big draw here is the wonderful CocaCola Freestyle soda dispenser. You can have any combination of soda imaginable! The sad-sack nearby MacDonald's has a weak sauce regular bar-type soda dispenser! No comparison. One of the reasons for spending my hard-earned money here. Living large! read more

My son, his aunt and I ate here three days ago and we won't be going back. Rob's aunt ordered a strawberry shake and got a tiny smoothie. I ordered a cheeseburger with nothing on it and got ketchup, mustard and onion which tasted terrible...could barely find the burger(?). I don't know what meat they're using to make their patties but it tastes more like blah filler. My son said his burger tasted like bread. Now I know why there wasn't a line at the pick up window. I used the Wendy's app to place an order for a small chocolate frosty. The app told me that the order was received and confirmed payment. I arrived at the drive through and told them I had an on line order and gave my name. The Wendy's employee stated they didn't have an order in my name. I confirmed the address thinking maybe I ordered at the wrong location. The employee confirmed the address but said there is nothing she could do because the order wasn't in the system that I would have to talk the manager. I said, I will just come to the window and show my confirmation and you can give me the small frosty. I pulled up to the service window and waited about 5 minutes for the manager. I don't fault the employees as obviously the app system wasn't working but my credit card had been charged. After speaking with the manger another employee handed me the small frosty and said, " We don't have any spoons." I can understand the app system failing but not having basic supplies to operate your business is a failure in management. Was there today and will NEVER go back. Service is SLOW! This was before the pandemic, now its even worse. The last few days I went there and they have had signs up, open 11am-2pm, then 3pm-6pm. The other day (a SATURDAY) it said open 11am-3pm. WTF? I know it's the pandemic and all, but how do you plan to stay in business if you change your hours at the last minute and provide SLOW service! Terrible. SLOW Drive-Thru and he kept mixing up "first window" "second window" and who should pull up where. I had my window down hearing the other customers (2nd window was closed) and then when at the window listened to the added confusion. This Wendy's normally has customer service, I'm use to that. But today, I ordered a $4 for 4, grilled chicken to go wrap. Also a jr frosty. They charged me for a small frosty, but also gave me that size...so I'm not too upset about that! The fries were gross, way over cooked. And my go wrap has guacamole all over (mind you, the grilled chicken go wrap does NOT come with guacamole..NEVER has). Everything was sloppy. And when we got our food we were missing a drink our sandwiches were completely wrong and didn't take the stuff off we wanted off. Avoid if you're looking for something quick! Not fast food!! They always close early! Wendy's used to be known for staying open late for their drive through option. This location always closes earlier than hours posted online. Drive through: Jessica is the worst! She will take an order from someone, then when you pull up to the speaker ask you to wait a minute (ends up taking 3-4 minutes) then she'll take your order and do the same to the next person behind you. With the way she works the drive-through it really slows things down. If you hand her a larger bill then what the total is for she will pause and roll her eyes. She doesn't mention the amount of change she is giving back when she returns it to you. It just seems like her position is a constant struggle for her. Bottom line: regardless of any detail I mentioned above that you may disagree with, and this place is not fast thus conflicting with the idea of fast food. read more

Just left the drive thru, Saline Mi. on Mi Ave. Got to work , sat down to eat my lunch. The whole order was screwed up as well as incomplete. What I had paid for was their #1 Wendy's meal. light mayo, light Mustard, Light ketchup. The burger was made with only meat and cheese nothing else...Disgusting! They even omitted the fries that were supposed to come with the meal! I then decided to eat the Lg. Chili with extra crackers that I had ordered with the meal...Oooh Ohh, No crackers at all! and no spoon! OK found a spoon to eat with and guess what. The chili beans were hard, like they weren't fully cooked! Damn it! So I call the restaurant, First attempt they hung up the phone after it rang a dozen times. Second call same thing. I have so many great memories of this Wendy's over the years. And by "great" I mean great like Voldemort. It's truly impressive how they have managed to stay so consistently terrible for so long. Today at 12:30, peak lunch time, I had a grand total of three cars in front of me at the speaker and it took close to ten minutes. With my foot tired from holding the brakes I eventually get to the 2nd window (first not open) to find no-one there. Oh, I can hear people in the background having a grand ol' time, but nary a worker in sight. Let's be real: I love baconators. I won't admit it in public, but it's true. That said, this Wendy's is disgusting inside. We stopped in tonight, and there wasn't one single clean table in the entire restaurant (and there was one other table in there, so it wasn't that they were too busy). This Wendy's has gone down hill to the point we will not go there again. Food, I.e, burgers, chicken nuggets, fries have been room temperature last three times we have been there. Frosty's have been just above half full and last time they were 74% liquid. The last two times our order was missing an item - very frustrating to have to go back even if it's the next day. Quite obviously this Wendy's is poorly managed which is reflected in the quality of staff hired and trained. Bottom line management and staff don't care.
