I come here regularly for hot coffee in colder seasons and ice coffee when it's warm. The staff members here are energetic and friendly. Helpful, too... The breakfast sandwiches are heavily advertised on signs outside but no mention of them on the menu boards inside. I smell an "Admiral Ackbar" moment here...Very suspicious... I love the fact that friends and neighbours come here to meet and socialize. On more than one occasion, I've eaten some breakfast sandwiches and overheard many elderly customers complain about their bunions, backaches, and various other ailments "that are killing them"! I did a big order for my company I work for and everything looked fine other than you shorted me one donut! DO NOT GO HERE!! Legit the only thing they can do right is the iced capp, but if you're looking for anything else it'll be worth it to go out of your way to get something else. This place used to be good 3 years ago, but now it's horrible and it keeps getting worse I live in Saline and every single time I go to this location they mess up my order. The staff is completely incompetent and cannot follow basic instructions. My farmers breakfast wrap was missing the hash brown inside, I requested original timbits combined with blueberry and I did not receive a single original timbit and my coffee had to be remade twice and they still messed it up. Well....we only went here because our special dessert place, our "regular" spot was closed the night that we wanted to go and meet our friends after dinner for dessert. We were in a small town, Saline, MI and so there weren't many choices. We decided to go to Tim Horton's because we knew that they make some good coffee and a cafe mocha. They also have some "goodies" to choose from if you are in the mood for dessert, as we had been. I got the Boston creme doughnut and two little chocolate "tim-bits"(donut holes). I arranged mine to look like "Mickey Mouse" just for my own amusement. Then I took a photo of it, to amuse others as well....I hope? The doughnuts were yummy and the coffees and cafe' mocha's were tasty. Now the atmosphere leaves much to be desired! It was not very clean and it was pretty chilly in there. Hey...maybe they try to freeze us out so that we will buy more coffee!?? Hmm....never thought of that one before just this moment...LOL Aside from this, the bathroom was really gross and dirty. I wanted to tell someone, but I couldn't decide who looked like a manager ....or actually nobody looked like a manager, so I didn't tell anyone. We just hang out with our friends and drank our mocha and coffee's, ate our little doughnuts and chit chatted for an hour or so. It worked for what we needed at the time, but I sure wouldn't make it a habit to go there. Unless of course, I was going through the drive through for a coffee, or Cafe' Mocha...then I would do that and be on my way again. On April 3 at 11 a.m., I ate a bowl of chicken noodle soup at Tim Horton's in Saline, MI.l Within an hour, my stomach started acting up and by 8 that night, the vomiting began. I called this location about this issue and they insisted it wasn't their soup...that food poisoning doesn't come on that quickly. This is the second time I have had food poisoning in my life, and the first time my body reacted in the same manner.....symptoms began within hours. This is the only Tim Hortons that I have been to that refused to honor a senior discount for ice tea! I get my ice tea loaded with ice so the actual amount of brewed tea is minimal. This was a food flop. My boyfriend and I stopped here for breakfast after I picked him up from work as it was the only place open on the way home. Having worked midnights myself, and visited several locations without a problem, I don't buy the, it's late excuse. Getting to the point... Well, the coffees, which were both double-doubles, were polar opposites. My coffee was diabetes in a cup and his was a hint of sweetness. His hasbrown was super dry and my Boston cream doughnut... first off, they didn't put it in a separate bag, so chocolate frosting got all over the sandwich wrappers, and there was barely any cream in it, which was apparent by it's deflated appearance. His maple sausage pannini or however yoy spell it was lopsided and burnt with no maple at all; basically a burnt sausage sandwich that gave up on life. This is the worst Tim Hortons I have been to. I ordered a coffee and asked about the smoothies, the response from the employee was "it's the same smoothies we have everyday!" The response was delivered with an attitude and an eye roll. You would have to be desperate to stop at this particular Tim's. Speed, friendliness and respect are not on the menu at this Tim's. The employees there are rude and disrespectful! You can hear them mocking customers and making racist remarks. Retraining or actual training is desperately needed. Excellent food, coffee was delectable. Service was lacking. Upon ordering my food, I had stated I wanted a number 6 with a coffee mocha. I was asked which size and I told him to go ahead and make it a large. I ordered a split order of 10 bits and then my husband ordered coffee and bits as well. The kid gave us our bits and told us to have a good day. I said, "We had coffee and a number 6 also". He was a little confused, but got my bag with "a number 6" in it and wished us a good day again. Had to remind him AGAIN we had two coffees. While waiting, I noticed there was no hashbrown in my bag. When he brought the coffees, I told him I think he forgot my hashbrown. He said, "oh, I didn't ask you if you wanted the meal". I told him it was implied when I said a "number 6". If I had wanted the sandwich, I would have said just the sandwich." The manager had to come over and the kid asked me twice if he could ring me up for a hashbrown. I'm sorry, but I already ordered it. He kept trying to assure me that he never asked me if I wanted the meal which somehow means I had to pay for something I already ordered. In the end, the manager gave me a hashbrown. I have been to this Tim Hortons location on numerous occasions because I work nearby. I love the Iced capp and the food, but those are pretty much the only reason to come back. The staff are usually rude or take forever taking/getting your order. Twice now I have gone in to order a Mint Chocolate iced capp Supreme. The first time the girl had me repeat my order three or four times. When I finally got the drink, there wasn't any whipped cream on it. I asked her if that was what the Supreme was supposed to be, and she said yes. I didn't have time to argue as I needed to get to work, so I left pissed that I had paid extra for something I didn't get. Just this morning I visited them again. Again, ordering a Mint Chocolate Iced Capp Supreme must be like speaking in a foreign language to these people. Four times I repeated what I wanted, and then the Manager asked me "Did you want the whipped cream on that?" What do you think I ordered the supreme for? The only thing this Tim Hortons leaves me feeling is frustrated. I'll just visit the one near my home in Plymouth where the staff aren't rude and actually have their act together.
