I have already reviewed the Taco Bell half of this establishment, so I thought that it would only be fair for me to review the KFC side as well. I feel that it would be beneficial for any reader to check out my Taco Bell review first, as I go more in depth about the physical restaurant itself. To be completely honest, ever since graduating from Saline High School (Go Hornets!), I have ordered almost exclusively from the Taco Bell. However, that is not to say that the KFC is any worse. On the contrary, I would place them almost equal to one another on my scale. One of my favorite things about this KFC would be the go cups. After making a purchase at KFC or Taco Bell, you will receive a receipt. GUARD THAT RECEIPT WITH YOUR LIFE. It contains a unique code that allows you to fill out a survey online about the quality of your visit. After completing the survey, you will receive yet another code of sui generis nature. This will allow for you to trade in that receipt for a free Go-Cup with a purchase of any drink. Now, every Go-Cup comes with fries and your choice of chicken: 4-5 wings, 2 chicken tenders, or popcorn chicken. I usually opt for wings or popcorn chicken. Now, this is why I deducted a star from KFC. I am almost always disappointed by the serving size of the Go-Cup. In my opinion, 2 tenders or 4 wings is simply not enough! @KFCCorporate, please find a way to fix this problem. Otherwise, Colonel Sanders would be overjoyed to witness a proud establishment like this one. read more

Apple Maps says they close at 10:30pm on Sundays. Turns out they close whenever they want. I got to the drive through at 9:50pm and was told they were closed, I asked when they closed because online says 10:30, I got no response. So I ask again and I am told they closed at 10 which is also strange because that was 10 minutes into the future. I would hate to be the owner of this establishment, they have a real staffing issue on their hands. read more

This place just gets everything wrong. I like to order using the app, but they never have the food ready or prepared right. They close the store lobby and force you through the drive through. If you call the store with a problem, they don't pickup so you are just stuck with their mistakes as nobody is going to wait on the drive though line for another 15 minutes to get their order corrected. As Joe Peschi said, "They F you though the drive though"- this is status quo for this location. This is an example of an absentee owner franchise with management and a crew that could care less about KFC, you, or your order. The latest visit was their 12 piece bucket of extra crispy chicken - we ordered variety so 3 breasts, 3 Wings, 3 drumsticks, and 3 Thighs, but we were given wrong original batter, 6 Thighs, 3 Drums, and 3 Wings - no breasts. So they just got the batter and no breasts wrong on this order. I called customer service online and got a refund as they didn't pickup the store phone. The prior visit involved some meals ordered using the app. We came 5 minutes early to pickup and they said they gave away our order to somebody else by accident. They had to make chicken and it was a big 20 minute wait. After getting home, they shorted us one large side for our wait! The visit from 2 months ago involved some 8 piece meals. We had to wait 30 minutes after the scheduled pickup time. We were given under cooked pieces that had nearly all the breading falling off. I swore I would pass on this place but I continued to come back because of convenience. I called online customer service and got my money back for this as they didn't pickup the phone. It is hard to believe that the KFC brand lets this franchise run down the brand so bad. Just drive by or get chicken from any other place - this place will disappoint you. Since COVID (2020), every time we try to support this local business, the chicken is absolutely NASTY. The oil is old and the chicken smells bad as soon as you pull it out of the box and the chicken is so dry! Ordered Uber Eats for chicken, they accepted and went to pick-it up. The front door was locked and had to go through drive-thru. Was told they weren't doing KFC (Chicken) and it was Sunday at noon. I guess I don't get why they accepted the order if they weren't doing the chicken orders? Why not cancel it and save me the 20 minute drive time to find out at the location? This place continues to get worse every time we go. This last time my wife ordered a 10-piece chicken with an extra piece of white meat. She also asked for an extra coleslaw. What did we get? 7 thighs, 2 legs, 2 wings. Not a single piece of white meat. Not only that, but instead of an extra slaw, we got an extra potatoes, and NO gravy at all. An update since my last review: the strength here is the staff. Super-friendly, polite, and while I see them RUNNING around like rats in a maze, it is often to check inventory for chicken. Nice! The glaring weakness here is the 1970s layout. Look at my picture of the front counter. If you see *that* many people in front, turn right around and GO SOMEWHERE - ANYWHERE - where you will get food within 10 minutes. Save yourselves! Do not be an idiot like me! People are running into other folks getting their drinks or waiting for their food. This is FUBAR! The Manager did sheepishly admit a remodel is scheduled and it cannot come fast enough. He looked beat-down and sad... Long waits (at least not this long) and screwed-up orders have plagued a few of my last visits. A very friendly place with standard KFC food. Mashd potatoes taste like they are made from potato flakes which I don't love. French fries are breaded which I find unnecessary. Pretty salty and greasy but it means I don't have to cook! A warning to those trying to only interact with people wearing masks: I went through the drive-thru today, Saturday around 4:30 pm June 13, 2020, and the guy who took the money and gave us our food was wearing latex gloves, but no mask. I settled for three wings, I asked for fries instead of mashed potatoes. One evening at 15 minutes before close, I gave up and got out of line due to no movement, only to see employees left the menu board lit up, but were all standing together out in the parking lot talking, having already closed the restaurant - literally leaving people in eyeshot still waiting to order! A couple weeks ago (on a Sunday), my Wife drove 22 miles to pick up two 12 piece buckets for our entire family. When she arrived, she was informed that they didn't have that much chicken - and this was at 4:00 on a Sunday afternoon - very odd, since the restaurant had signs up everywhere promoting their 12 piece bucket deal. I wonder what the employees were going to do for the next 7 hours - the restaurant closes at 11:00 p.m. Perhaps they were just planning to take their signs down and sell tacos, since this disaster is both a Taco Bell and KFC. It's pretty safe to assume the Taco Bell side isn't any better than the KFC, but I can assure you I will never know from personal experience. Still craving KFC, the very next day we decided to give them another chance. I called the restaurant and a woman actually answered the phone! I told her about our disappointment the previous day and asked her confirm that they would have chicken if we made the drive back to Saline. The woman assured me she had chicken, so we immediately made the trip. When I ordered our food ( a two piece meal and a three piece meal), the drive through employee asked if we wanted regular or extra crispy. I told her both orders were regular. She then asked if we wanted white meat only. My Wife did not, but I did want two breasts with my combo. After a couple minutes, she came back on the intercom and informed us that all they had left was white meat - chicken breasts. We took what we could get, and got our two meals. The chicken we got was burned extra crispy and whoever we were talking to definitely needs a refresher class in anatomy, because we certainly didn't get breasts! Avoid this restaurant at all costs, it's sure to disappoint you! Unfortunately this is not the first awful experience we've had at this location. EXPECT TO WAIT! They do fine on the food but this location is pretty slow. Also houses a Taco Bell. Try the double down, but it takes 7 minutes just to cook. Always like their chicken little's with potato wedges. Can't beat the price for an easy lunch! read more

KFC is a modern delicacy. Their chicken is cooked so perfectly, it is beautifully tender, and the spices... such great flavoring! I could spend a whole day gorging myself there. Stopped in approximately 3:25pm and used the drive through. I placed my order for the $20 family meal. I ordered half original and half extra crispy. Order taker said "this is not McDonald's " and laughed. Waited 12 minutes in line to get to the window. Waited a couple of minutes and received my order after paying.
