Dan's is my favorite place to go to in Saline. Fun place to go to if you're looking to meet up for a drink, they have a huge draft list and a cute bar area. Food here is always great too-their fries and ranch are the best! Service is always great, and food usually comes out fast. They recently redid their dining area and it looks great. During the summer they also have outdoor seating which is nice!

Dan's is the definition of great bar food. A seat yourself restaurant with a casual atmosphere. Servers are always friendly and accommodating. I've been a supporter of Dans for years as it used to be the best place to grab a burger around town. However, I'm a little disappointed with the change to smash burgers and removal of their awesome beer battered fries. Instead of one thick burger patty it's two thin patties that are hard to order rare. Just one reviewers option but I will always opt for a thick patty over a smash burger. Toppings, fries and drinks are still great and we'll likely be back for other menu items!

Always a solid spot to grab a drink or get some good bar food. The pizza is pretty decent, same with the French dip.

The staff were super friendly and sat us right away, which set a good tone from the start. The environment was lively but still very family‑friendly, which I really appreciated. They have a solid variety of drinks and beers. I ordered a mojito, at first sip it tasted like water, but after stirring it up it turned out to be really well balanced and refreshing. For food, I had the lemon pepper wings and my husband had the buffalo wings. Both were perfectly cooked: crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and the sauces were spot on. Definitely some of the better wings we've had in a while. We'll definitely be going back! I've got my eye on the steak fries for next time.

Waitress seemed annoyed that we weren't ordering food right away. So, we put in an appetizer order while we waited. The Quesorizo was okay, but the portion was tiny. We put in our order before our sixth arrived as they told us what they wanted. The food started arriving fairly quickly which was good. But the waitress put in an order for a regular chicken tenders meal for one of my daughters instead of the one from the kid's menu. I ordered the "El Gordo" Burrito with beef. It was a lackluster item filled with regular ground beef that was not seasoned. I didn't finish it. My wife and oldest daughter got the buffalo chicken mac and cheese - which they normally love - but they said it was not very good today. And to top it all off, our waitress disappeared for about 10 minutes forcing us to go up to the bar to get drinks/refills and request a new set of silverware because my son dropped his on the ground. I do not plan on going here again.

The burgers are easily the standout!! juicy, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The shakes are AMAZING, and the pizza is different and big size, making it great for sharing. The fries are another win: crispy, well‑seasoned, and addictive. The environment is nice and cozy, which adds to the charm, though I do wish they had more tables. That said, they've optimized the experience by offering a separate pickup door, which makes takeout incredibly smooth and efficient... a smart move for a small business. What really elevates DropTop is the staff. They're super friendly, genuinely welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the menu. Their recommendations were spot on, and you can tell they care about the food and the customers. Overall, I'd absolutely come back. The rest of my family did the BYO pizza options due to gluten and dairy sensitivities and said the crust was the best GF crust they've had, and were stoked to be able to have it Detroit style! We also tried the Motor Oil Wings and they were excellent! Nicely sized wings and a good portion. The sauce was rich and umami just as described on the menu. I loved the dedicated "To Go" area in the alley behind the restaurant, close to the parking lot; not having to go inside the main area to fight through the people (it was crowded the night we ordered), was a big bonus. The staff working the to-go counter was friendly, fast, and helpful. We ordered online and everything was ready exactly at the promised time. We will 100% be back!

There's really no other word I can think of but condescending when describing our waitress. She not only had attitude every time she came to our table, but always seemed bothered to come check on us. I moved my chair around the table to have a better view of the game and she rudely confronted me saying I needed to move it out of the aisle- "I'm going to tell you right now, you or that chair cannot be there." Her attitude was a recurring theme throughout the evening. We ordered the Nachos and Pizza Bites appetizers, both of which came out in a timely manner and were warm. The Nachos were my favorite, there were enough toppings for all the chips which I know isn't always the case when you order nachos. The Pizza Bites were okay, they didn't have a lot of flavor, even with the ranch and marinara sauce provided. I want to give them another chance but will definitely not be recommending this place to others. I'm disappointed because they are conveniently located off Packard, right off the main drag into downtown Ann Arbor, and far enough away to avoid gameday traffic. Surprisingly, the crowd was pretty sparse for a Lions Sunday, maybe because it was an 8:20 game. The building itself was clean, but I did notice the bathroom had a pile of stuff on the ground (cleaning supplies? extra toilet paper maybe?) and there were no speakers piped into the restroom like most bars, so there was no way to follow the game during a quick bathroom break. Lastly, I have to mention their jersey giveaways. Right before the game finished, the bartender announced that number x had won the jersey giveaway. Me and my party were shocked because we had not been notified of a giveaway at all and because there were so few people, we probably had a good chance to win. I wouldn't put it past our waitress that she didn't care to tell us, given her already rude demeanor, but that is extremely upsetting that she couldn't even have informed customers of what we later found out to be a weekly special on gamedays. Turns out, you have to buy a certain beer to be entered into the raffle. That being said, if you go on gameday, don't expect them to notify you or advertise the specials...take the initiative and ask yourself. Or, in all honesty, take your business somewhere else that has better food and will gladly let you participate in their specials.

I decided to check out the bar/lounge at the nearby Sheraton and have to say, no wonder Marriott decided to buy these guys! They have great beers on tap and great food. I had the sliders and the Santorini salad, which has fried artichokes on it. The sliders were great. Straight up beef patties on a brioche-like bun. No filler, slightly thin, but still tastes great and beefy. Just what I wanted. The Santorini salad is about twice as big as I thought it would be for $9. I really liked the greens which included butter, red, iceberg and romaine lettuces. It also had goat cheese, olives and fried artichoke hearts. Yum, but I couldn't finish it. The food ranges from quite good to really, really good. The bruschetta is distinct and fantastic. The mixture is served separately from the crustini, ensuring that the bread doesn't get soggy. And it has little pieces of fresh mozzarella in it to add even more freshness! Their fried mozzarella is also quite good, clearly freshly made. The food, though, lands squarely in the "just okay" category. The calamari came with a honey glaze that made them noticeably sweet. I had the Heavenly Hefeweizen, and it was excellent smooth, refreshing, and easily the highlight of the meal. I also had the hot chocolate which was tasty and rich, but it comes topped with a giant marshmallow. It looks great for photos, but once you start drinking it, things get messy fast.
