Don't bowl here -- seriously…read more This place has been nothing but disappointment: 1. Constant lane malfunctions that ruin the flow of the game. 2. Hardly any bowling balls to choose from, and the ones they have are chipped and worn out. 3. They gave away my reserved lane without so much as a courtesy call to inform me or my group. And the worst part? The staff shows zero concern for customer issues. Save yourself the frustration and go literally anywhere else.

While my bowling prowess seems to have mysteriously vanished since my youth (thanks, son, for going easy on me?), we had a blast. Four rounds of bowling and an hour of pool later, we emerged victorious (and slightly sore). This bowling alley offered great prices and wasn't at all expensive, which is always a win for dads. The ball selection, however, wasn't the most extensive. But hey, maybe that's a good thing - less time picking out the perfect ball, more time for strikes (or gutter balls in my case). The interior had a classic vibe that I actually enjoyed. It added to the whole nostalgic experience, like stepping into a time capsule of good times and questionable fashion choices (acid wash, anyone?).

Why do I say that? While trying to play music on Touch Tunes, every single modern song performed by a black artist was not available to play there. I was in shock! Let me take that back, I was able to play that one song by Shaboozey. I couldn't even play Salt-N-Pepa. The lounge is 21+ so it couldn't have been due to kids being around. The place was also aged. In general bowling lanes aren't the nicest places, but this place was run-down and dirty. The should do better and be more accepting.
