Fun spot for mini golf. The courses aren't terribly entertaining compared to other mini golf courses. They do have batting cages, too. When we went, they were doing a lot of work and the indoors wasn't open. Hopefully that will become a nice arcade. read more

Pains me to write this, as I have so many good memories from my younger years going here for mini golf and the batting cages. However, this place is a bit of a mess now. Probably haven't been there in 15+ years until just recently, and it looks like it hasn't had any maintenance since then. The golf lanes are in bad shape, many the hole felts are covered in black mold with deteriorated coats of paint on the buffers. The grounds are covered in weeds, the sidewalks are cracked, the obstacles are dated. We paid $12 a person for a 18-hole course, which was way overpriced considering how run down the place is now. At the very least, the staff is friendly (frankly they are the only reason this place gets a second star). Again, I get no pleasure from this, but it was really disappointing and I don't think I'll be back unless they do some serious renovation/makeover. read more

Batting cages only have one machine working. The game room has been under renovations for over a year. The putt putt course is slowly deteriorating with debris on the course. This used to be a great course. read more

The Putt-Putt Golf closed down several years ago and reopened with a fresh coat of paint and a new name. The courses aren't much different, but they're a little better maintained than in the past. I go with friends often enough that a discounted 10-punch card is a good deal. Also a good deal is their Super Saturday special. Pay $7 a person and you get a small soda pop, 20 game room tokens, and can play unlimited games from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. If you can avoid getting sunburned, it's a fun time. Putterz doesn't just offer three 18-hole courses. They also have batting cages which I've never tried out. If you prefer to have your fun inside, there's the game room. The selection of video games, pinball games and the like isn't huge but it's fairly varied. If you shoot enough baskets or win enough of their other games, you get tickets which can be redeemed for little prizes like stickers or candy or novelty erasers. I've been on more interesting mini-golf courses, but I like the overall package of Putterz. The location is good, the courses and reasonably fun to play, the prices are good, and there are other things to do when you get tired of mini-golfing. read more

My partner and I came on a rainy day so we weren't planning on putt-putt, but we were hungry and love arcade games. The moment we walked in I waved to the staff member (I'm speech-impaired and can't physically speak), and he just stared at us with a stern look on his face, no response whatsoever. We went to scope out the arcade games and as we were coming back to the front desk, we had noticed he was making his way towards us. Not to help, mind you, but to keep an eye on us. Then, he goes back to the counter when we came back just to say "Can I help you?", but more in a condescending way than a consideration. They seemed to act like we were punk kids because we had unnatural colored hair. Don't go here​ unless you want to be unfairly judged and feel out of place. read more

Is this place say a cj Barrymore? The answer to that would be no. Is it along the lines of a go cart place? Somewhat similar but obviously they don't have go carts but they have everything else you would find at a go cart place. From a small arcade room (about 15-18 games), to 3 different miniature golf courses (by skill level), and batting cages, this place is a nice family destination if you live within 10 minutes of this place and halve about 2 hours to kill. They also have a small food stand that serves whole pizza, icee, and hot dogs (and maybe 2-4 more smaller items). Overall I would not come here if I live in say Detroit, but for Ypsilanti/Ann Arbor, this is a good place to come play some good ole miniature golf. read more

The new owners really upgraded the place and it looks great!, They have 54 holes with different obstacles and difficultly levels which makes it a lot more exciting, as well as batting cages for Baseball and Softball with very affordable prices!!. Putterz makes for a good time on a summer afternoon, especially if you can take advantage of the super Saturday discount: for $1 more than the regular mini golf price ($7 instead of $6) you get unlimited mini golf for a certain number of hours and 20 tokens for video games in the arcade (I spent my tokens on skeeball, which it turns out I'm not terrible at). Putterz has three fun courses (easy, medium, challenging), though even the most difficult one is not THAT tough in the grand scheme of mini-golf. Which brings me to my real question. Why is this the only mini golf facility in like a 30 mile area? I'm from Illinois, where every town has a minimum of 3 mini golf courses. I thought that was par for the course (if you will), but apparently Illinois is, in fact, blessed with an unmatched embarrassment of riches in the putt putt department? I go to Putterz because it's a fun and inexpensive afternoon. But also because I have no other choice. This is in no way Putterz' fault. First: if I had only played mini-golf on the red course I'd give this place a 4 and a ahlf (if possible) or possibly 5-star rating. It's awesome and I will definitely come back. But, I have a few complaints that cause me to knock off a star We read Sarah's review and loved the sound of the Super Saturday deal. This being Adventure Day and us not having a break lately from the chaos that seems to always surround us, we thought it would be fun. We drove out after lunch at Temptations (boooo!) and a stop at the "What Is That" Gallery, which we're pretty sure no longer exists. We were greeted by friendly staff who were super-helpful and quickly got us out on the course. They explained that the red was the most difficult. I was either really lucky or it wasn't that hard. I got several holes in one but the holes were challenging and fun. More than this, the course is well-maintained and taken care of. There are three levels of difficulty: red (most difficult), Blue (medium) and yellow (easy). They appear to have more funky features the easier they are, but I don't need funky features. The course has music playing and is clean. We greatly enjoyed our first 18 holes. After playing the red course we headed inside to get our 20 tokens each and play some games. This was a more disappointing part of the day. There are two skee-ball machines that we enjoyed greatly but the air-hockey table needs a new puck. Not sure what's up with the current one but it doesn't float. It's too heavy. We played a Jurassic Park two-person shooter that was okay and also played three rounds of an awesme racing game. We also each enjoyed one game of pinball - the 20 tokens were good for a nice time in the arcade. My issue with the arcade is the lack of classic games. Where's PacMan? Donkey Kong? Not here. Also, a two-player basketball game would be great. I think more classic games would increase the sale of tokens and loan the older customers (there were lots of us!) to a better time. After games we headed out for a try on the blue course but sadly had to stop. I am seriously allergic to wasps and after about the tenth hole the features were overrun with them. I'm an environmentalist and don't believe in killing things, but maybe a detterant spray would help get them under control? We were sad to cut our day short, but the wasps were seriously out of control. We will definitely add this to our places of fun spots for summer days and nights - probably nights to avoid the wasps! read more

I love Putterz!!! It's a cheap way to have a fun time. They have 3 different courses, each one cooler than the next. For $10, you can play all three. Some of the holes can be quite frustrating, but By GOD, that's what you look for in the Putt Putt world. (I'm talking about you Alligator's Mouth hole, you beautiful frustrating reptile jerk) hahaha. The staff is very nice and helpful and the retro game room had some old school classics I have never even seen in my life. It's like a mini Pinball Pete's. An okay way to spend a day when your daughter is telling you how bored she is. The price is good and it takes about 30/40 minutes to do one course. Not the friendliest staff and it could really use some updates and cleaning. The water feature is no longer working and is filled with debris. They have an arcade area inside, but it's dimly lit and pretty depressing. We'll probably be back, but it's nothing special. read more

Construction going on so the courses are missing holes, and still charged full price. Decided to buy some batting cage tokens and again, no luck. One cage threw balls ankle high, then halfway through stopped pitching. Tried another cage no balls would come out at all. Never offered refund or anything. I think this place is a bit expensive ($7 per person) for mini golf. The courses are pretty old, though we only tried 1 of the 3 courses. There are not many cool features at all on the blue course. We also played some of the games in the arcade (I was with an 8 year old) and I thought they were stingy with the tickets awarded for the games. They have Skeeball (my fav!), basketball, a duck punching thing and more. The 8year old enjoyed herself, and I had fun.. just A-OK fun though. My little 6 years old never played golf before and went straight to the 18 , where the ball stays inside and doesn't come out anymore.. This place has probably seen better days but when its three different courses for 10.00 per person total I cant really complain. The courses are pretty simplistic, nothing really exciting or hard. The hardest parts are maybe that green is so old it sank around the hole and cant get over the lip into the cup. The old faded décor, less then perfect landscaping and non working fountains give this place a very depressing Midwest town that has seen better days feel. "I can't". Forecast for rain but we decided to go try and play anyways. We bought one course for $7 and enjoyed the red one. It was in rough shape but what the heck. The rainy clouds cleared up so we figured we would make the turn and play the other 2 courses. We went up to pay the additional $3 each for the $10 all 3 courses package. With a big sigh the older man told us "I can't". You can't what? You can't Take $3 each from our group and hand us a ball? You can't make the huge effort required to do that? You can't because you don't like cash?You can't because your cash register doesn't open up? You can't because of your morals? You can't because it should be the busiest day of the year for you and you are not busy? You can't because of the business ethics class you took in 1954? Let me help you out with some math because "I can't" help but teach you about business. If you say that to 5 groups a day x 4 per group x $3 per person x 200days of putt putt weather = $12,000 of extra money from a captive audience that require no more additional capture fees because they are already there with cash in hand. Sure that might be on the higher end but we are talking about putt putt. There is no cost once the customer is there. It requires nothing. That might be enough money to even put some new turf down and have $11,500 left. "I can't" help but feel dumbfounded by your business model. read more

Came here for a group outing on a nice day and it was a lot of fun! Two games is $9, which for me is a great price because that means over an hour of play time. Yes, the "courses" could be cleaned up a little and could use some upgrades but there's not much in the way of putt-putt courses in the Ann Arbor area so you manage. The staff was very nice especially when my group, the dummies we were, thought we missed a whole on the yellow course and kept trying to figure it out how we did it. There are 3 golf courses to choose from, all of which are very fun, and the golf course is very well maintained and scenic from the waterfalls to the life size replica of giraffe and elephant and even alligators to a windmill you can putt your ball through on the final hole! They also have batting cages and a fun retro gameroom with some really cool games and ticket redemption games out there and all at a reasonable price. I recommend playing The Ultracade, it has hundreds of fun arcade games on it and is only 1 token. They keep this place really clean too. They have really good hot dogs and pizzas too if you get hungry that go great with an Icee. Great fun for kids and adults of all ages! read more

I really hope that the owners either make some investments to upgrade their facilities or someone else opens a better course closer to Ann Arbor. The putt putt courses are not very well maintained. The Astro surfaces are threadbare and worn, surfaces are corroding and could use a layer of paint and the water hazards were filled with a neon green water. I realize that this must be a low margin operation and a family business, but what worries me is that there little pride I sense when forking over cash for putt putt with my kids. read more
