My husband took me, as someone who has never played golf before in my life, to hit balls. We didn't need to prebook anything, just showed up, walked over to the driving range, used the self-serve machine to get a couple buckets of balls, walked over to an open spot, and that was that! It was a pretty crowded day (based on how many cars were in the parking lot), but the driving range wasn't crowded at all, so I'm guessing it usually isn't full. Easy to park in a large lot, there's food and drink on site in the clubhouse if you want it, and conveniently located just outside of town on the SW side of Ann Arbor. I'll be back!

The covered tees are heated for winter use. The heat is welcomed but you will still want to practice in a light jacket during the winter months. Gloves on both hands will be welcomed too. The range is a franchisee of Toptracer Range Systems. Although the games on this computerized range radar system are a bit "gimmicky" for my personal taste - I can see where they would be fun if I hadn't driven 45 minutes to practice. Time is limited!! However, the stats captured by the system seem to be reasonably accurate and certainly provide for a worthwhile practice session. The store is also full service and carries all of the major brands. If they do not have it in stock, I am sure that they could order it for you. 4 stars as I wish the mats were a bit softer/of higher quality. I personally use a mat from Country Club Elite at home. Although I realize that they are expensive - they are the best mat I have used and I believe that being of commercial quality, they will last long enough to justify the cost. The addition to the customer experience would certainly be helpful. One time, a friend visiting me wanted to go go-karting so I bought us tickets. It was $25/person to go around about 7 times. I was given a kart that couldn't turn right unless it super slow so I had to slow down drastically every time. I eventually got ran into which put my kart out of commission for the rest of the rounds. It was no fun at all and I should have been offered a refunded since I couldn't even do the activity I paid for properly. I've also done this selfie golf which is okay but it just wasn't for me. I could tell it wasn't well cleaned or maintained. I've tried both of the bars which had great bartenders both times. The drinks are way overpriced just as the food is as well. It's about $25 for some chicken wings which they didn't even bother to try to make look good on their menu. Your first time there, you have to spend a minimum of $20 just to get a pass and some of the popular games aren't even working properly. You can get this thing called a rainbow pass where you can play certain games unlimited for a set period of time but it limits you to only the shooting and driving games which get tiring after 15 minutes. Overall, I really wouldn't suggest people going here unless you want to take a loan out for mid-tier games and overpriced food.

We're from California and I've been to many Dick's Sporting Goods, but never have I had the rudeness and disrespect that I experienced at this store.
