I think I got a sandwich that was sitting for a few hours it had been siting for way way to long. Rock hard and over cooked. I think what happened was they cooked it for an order and maybe left it sitting off to the side and waited till someone else ordered it again to save themselves making it again. So I went to Wendy's and ordered a double cheeseburger, medium fry and a frosty. When I got home I bit into the burger and it was completely red and very greasy. It did not not look pleasing at all. My frosty was also very soupy and was melted. So I thought I would call so tried calling the Wendy's and it went to a automated message which isn't very great customer service. This Wendy's used to impress me with the speed it would deliver orders when it first opened up. It felt like once I paid for the order, the food would be on the counter. The food was decent and I was happy. Now when I return I feel differently. It may not be as fast as before but they are still great at getting food out at a decent pace but my gripe is.... why is everything so salty? Sometimes the burger patties are insanely flavorful that it's dehydrating and other times I'm not sure if I was eating fries with salt or salt with fries. I tend to stick to the chili now. I hope the quality and consistency eventually come back. It's usually a hit or miss and I keep swinging though that drive thru hoping the next one is what I remember it being. read more

Wow this place is awesome besides the food always being fresh...they are also honest and the manager is wonderful! I took my family to dinner and when we left my mind was somewhere else and I left my purse like a dummy ;? I didnt realize it until the next morning...I panicked in the am once I realized it was missing I quickly called and was told that they had my purse in their safe...I quickly drove over there and my purse and the entire contents including my cash was STILL all there...How awesome is that! Finally, the store had some changes. The floor is now looking better and the carpet had been fixed. The ladies and men who work in the counter are a mix of friendly and just plain quiet. An older man went in to order his food doing sign language. When his food was ready, he was called to get his food, but this young man, busy and all, went out of his way to bring the food to the customer since he can't hear his name being called. (This is when there is a long line inside the dine-in area. )Another lady who works in the drive-thru helped out a family who is dining-in. She brought their food with a smile. Me and my boyfriend walked in, were not greeted. We stood there for like 5-7 minutes without any one saying anything or acknowledging us. They just stared at us lol. Then, when the girl (Xiomara or something) finally acknowledged us, I told her I was there to pick up and she said there was no order with my name. I went to my phone to show her my receipt, she said there was another mobile order with my name and that someone had picked it up. Just picked up lunch at this place & was so not impressed. I ordered a combo 1 without cheese. Found cheese on my hamburger and the fries had no seasoning & were very dry. My colleagues and I visit because it is close. Even though we like the food (chicken sandwich and the salads) we are not going back. They are SO slow!!! At lunch time there is usually only one person to take your order. Then the person will stop taking orders to help fill previous orders, even though there are at least 4 other people who could do that. So you wait 5+ minutes to give your order. We do not have the time to enjoy our meal. Something needs to be done!! And yes, as previously stated the napkins are not kept filled. read more

My boys LOVE this location! They're both autistic and so eating out can be tricky at times. This is the only location who makes their burgers correctly. The staff is incredibly sweet and understanding. We come very other week to see our favorite team. Today we came to celebrate their 50th anniversary early. They were so sweet to indulge my son since he made them a card and was so excited to give it to them. We are very lucky to have found this locations and actually drive padt two other Wendy's just to visit this one. It's always clean, the food is always perfect and the staff abd management team are above reproach. I highly recommend visiting! read more

March 11th, 2019 - Closing shift workers "We're closing in 5 minutes so we might not have what you want." This is how we got greeted the moment we pulled up to the drive thru ordering speaker, which was 10:51 by the way so she got her time off, probably explains why she's working the closing shift at Wendy's on Trautwein in Riverside. Starting off my visit this way was already disappointing because when you know that you won't have something you should try your best to give the decent customer service so that your customers are more understanding. Besides the point that they shouldn't stop making food until they are official closed, be a little more courteous to the people you are serving. No big deal, my first order of a spicy chicken go wrap is something they did not have but no matter, they had a grilled chicken go wrap. So We pulled up to the window and the first thing I get, "we are out of nuggets, we can replace them with a fry". So we did that and they accommodated it but when I was given my food, she forgot to give me my iced tea. She had to go to the back for whatever reason to fill up my cup with iced tea but decided to stop with a few coworkers to have a casual conversation. On top of all of that, I didn't get a receipt to do a review for corporate, it wasn't even offered to me. All in all, bad experience. The only reason I gave this place a one star is because I can't give it a zero star review. I believe the worker closing at the window was named Rene, but the whole establishment is to blame for the rude and disrespectful treatment. I would advise going to this place if it is close to closing time because they will not make what you want because they only care about clocking out once closed so they can get home, go to sleep, wake up and repeat this because this is the job for them. read more

This location always gets your order wrong and the fries never taste fresh even when their is a long line and you know they have to be making new ones. I could deal with both of these issues but tonight was the third time I have gone through the drive up line, and it was ten cars deep, just to find out they have run out of coke. How do you run out of coke? Since it seems to be a regular thing maybe they should increase their order. Lately they just can't get it together and seem to hire just anyone! From giving you the wrong food, to cold food, to burnt fries, to horrible customer service not from all but at least half the crew.... it's rare to have 3 of 3 visits go normal! Your lucky to get 1 of 3 and today I had the pleasure of dealing with a manger DeAndra (probably spelled wrong) who I've witnessed before be extremely rude to an elderly couple but today was my experience and to make a long story short leaving smaller things out she hands me a regular Dr. Pepper no ice and I politely told her my drink should of been a medium Coke Zero, she takes the drink back along with my card to run it comes back to the window with another drink but shoved it at me through the window forcefully without the lid on and it goes all over my outfit, the inside and outside of my entire cars drivers side. She laughs and says that's all you, you don't know how to grab your Dr. Pepper and I didn't even charge you for the upsize meal. As livid as I was I kept my cool and told her for one I told you it's a Coke Zero with ice not Dr. Pepper again, for two you knew what you were doing when you shoved the wrong drink again at me cause you laughed and for three the screen showed the correct total and i was charged for the upsize. So did my card get charged the ten something or the 6 something it should of been charged? Cause this receipt you handed me shows $10 and she said it's just the wrong receipt your card was only charged $6 so as I'm trying to clean the soda up, deal with her who continues to argue and talk crap about me to her coworker that I could clearly hear I pull up my bank acct info on my phone and sure enough she(the manager) lied and charged my card the wrong amount that she continued to argue about. I asked for the other manager cause I could see another lady wearing the same shirt as her at the dine in register but she.... DeAndra tells me "she is the manager". So i asked for my receipt so I'd have the store number and I let her know that I'd be calling corporate to have them aware of how she handles things as a manager and demand to be reimbursed for a car wash after it went all over me, the car and the seats. I understand accidents happen but she knew exactly what she was doing, laughed, never apologized or offer to make the experience better (after they made a handful of little mistakes) lied and still continue to argue and the best part was having my kids in the back seat seeing all this and them asking why that lady did what she did with the drink and kept arguing. Luckily my kids are smart enough to know when someone has poor mannerism and know right from wrong. Not sure how she moved up the scale to a leader however that also probably explains why that place is a hit or miss. Probably a hit when she's off! Note photos taken are after I attempted to clean in the drive through and on my way home. Wish I would of left it so I could of shown the car door storage and window buttons filled with soda, the napkins from dapping the seat and my clothes. The restaurant was dirty, tons of flies, and the service was bad - like really bad! My order was taken by two women who should never be allowed to be at the front counter. Their names were Kayla and Jaime - both terrible. Stood in line for 15 minutes (not an exaggeration) while they attempted to take the orders of a family in front of me. They couldn't seem to understand anything and continued to mess up the order. About 10 minutes in I actually considered walking out, but I figured I'd stay just to see if they ever would figure it out. They were so rude/disrespectful to the family in front of me...even the manager kept looking up at the counter (seeing that there was a line forming) and she never did anything. The Kayla girl is 100% an idiot and should never be allowed be at the register.
