The food was disgusting and cold. I just came through the drive-through window 5/12/26 9:58 p.m., and the fries were ice cold, as were the sandwiches I ordered. I should have kept going. I rarely see traffic at this location, which is a sign in itself. When I first arrived in the parking lot, I did a loop around the establishment to check if they were open. (Inside was locked, the drive-through was open, chairs were stacked, and it looked closed.) There was one car in the parking lot with one person inside when I looped around the building. It was the same person who served me my food in the drive-through in less than a minute. I came here because it's Wendy's. I knew they had something sweet. I also needed to use restroom. I ordered chicken nuggets. But I didn't see cookies on the menu. Cashier had to call his manager. Not sure if the cookies were made to order or just hidden in the restaurant. After I checked in on Yelp app, it came out to a free frosty. Great. It would make my cookie tastier. But I have to wait for the cashier. He disappeared. Haha. So comical. The restaurant is easy to find. I don't know I went here in order to save time, but it took a long time to get to the window and once I got to the window and paid then they told me to go and wait I waited for over 10 minutes and no one came to me So I went inside with my receipt and asked for my order. Busy location, but the service is fast! Whenever I check the bag, the order is always right! Napkins? Check! Straw? Check! Sauces? Check! Going through the drive thru today was a piece of cake! The guy at the intercom was so polite and friendly, I felt like I was at a Chick-fil-A! We breezed our way by the window and got smiles and greetings by all the employees! Props!! We got a crispy chicken sandwich which was so big, it hung off the side of the bun!! It was really tasty! But the natural cut fries and the chicken nuggets (which I usually love) were both cold. What a drag, because I wanted to give them more stars because of the amazing customer service, but sorry, ya gotta serve hot fries and nuggets!! like anyone I only leave a review when I'm kind of ticked off. I love Wendy's, and I go all the time. This is by far one of the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The customer service sucks. every time I go there's something wrong with my order and I get the same thing every time. How hard is it to put 10 chicken nuggets in a bag? Either my nuggets aren't spicy when I want them to be. Or someone makes me repeat what sauce I want three times and then still doesn't put it in the bag. Or better yet I get to the window and sit there in silence for five minutes while literally no one acknowledges me and then still get my order wrong. I want to do an update on my recent review of Wendy's. As I always try to be "FAIR" to any place I write about as WORDS have meaning and than can sometimes make or break any place of business.... I recently went into this particular Wendy's and the Customer Service took up most of my review as appose to my review on the food I had ordered. Because of this, the District Manager and Manager reached to me to find out what had happened. I know we think of Fast Food as being IN & OUT, however I do not care what type of place you go in, you want to feel welcome by coming in. if not than you do not want to return. After all, we are their guest, and I would not go into anyone's home/business if I am NOT welcome. By the Management reaching out to me, it says a lot about HOW they DO care about their Customers like myself. As for those who follow me, many of you know... I eat in a lot of Fast Food places as well as Mom & Pop Restaurants. I certainly do not believe in the "Food Police" as I eat whatever I want. I have eaten in a number of Wendy's, and I have always returned. So, I want to return again to this Wendy's as I feel they deserve another chance by me. And, I hope from my review, you "Will Not" stay away. I feel in all Honesty, the Managers of Wendy's DO care about it's customers. I ordered my first salad at Wendy's and it will be my last. What is this, the 1950s? Who still serves an all iceberg lettuce salad? I eat a salad for the nutrients and iceberg has non. There wasn't even a green part of the iceberg in here. I got the southwest salad and it was a big disappointment- especially after having delicious salads at Chick Fil A. This salad had alot of iceberg, some nuked tasting chicken breast cubes, some tomato slices that had been refrigerated and were watery and tasteless, some premashed avocado, a little bacon and some grated cheese,a small bag of croutons and some dressing. Other than the iceberg, non of it tasted particularly fresh. I threw most of it out. I would be embarrassed to serve this to a guest in my house. Only giving one star because zero isn't an option... To start this most recent experience, I ordered a mobile pick up to the drive through which took 12 minutes to receive all of the wrong items. I ordered a salad with Cesar dressing and the dressing was wrong. I ordered 10 spicy nuggets and received 4 regular nuggets. I ordered a large fry and got a small. I ordered the Daves single with no pickle no tomato and got a double stack with all ingredients including the pickle and tomato. After the long wait in the drive through I had to go BACK INSIDE to switch out the nuggets and fries having already switched the dressing at the window. I got home to realize that the burger was wrong and there were no condiments at all. I almost feel that at this point its trivial to mention that the nuggets were hard as rocks and the fries were limp noodles, but we're on a roll here so I figure I might as well. THEY LITERALLY GOT EVERYTHING WRONG. NOT ONE SINGLE THING WAS RIGHT. And this isn't the first time this has happened for me at this Wendy's. Seriously this location needs undercover boss or something.. and I'm not even sure that could help. It should just be closed down. Went here for a quick drive-thru frosty stop for the kiddos on the way home from visiting my mother in Richmond, VA. The drive-thru staff were friendly, fast, and the frostys were exactly as ordered (with the side of fries...don't forget the fries people since the kids LOVE to dip their fries in their frosty's....go figure) I needed to get on the interstate ASAP, and was hoping this would all go pretty efficiently, and it did. SIgh of relief on my part! We all know drive thru's can be a toss up, and you never know how long the line is going to be or how quickly they roll through their orders. I was pleased, and would definitely try this place again for a quick hop by prior to getting on the interstate if a treat is needed to keep the youngers awake for just a little longer :) read more

Why do I keep patronizing this location? I guess out of convenience bc of the location. I ordered a value meal and some other items, they completely left out the value meal. I only received the drink. I checked receipt when I was home and was charged. I went back there to explain and the associate said they couldn't assist. Maybe using the drive thru isn't the best idea because they keep jipping me. I try to check my orders while still sitting at the window but because I try to be considerate of customers behind me, I lose out. read more

AS far as chains go. This Wendy's was okay. My food was correct but that was literally about it.

I really must say that today's lunch was PHENOMENAL. I got a single with fries and a lemonade. The bun was fresh, the sandwich tasted delicious, the fries were appropriately salted, and the lemonade is on point. I think this is the best meal I've ever had at a Wendy's. read more

scumbag goons working behind the counter, they convinced multiple families around us to leave because "no food was ready and it would be 15 minutes" (at dinner mind you). when we decided to wait our cashier said it would actually be longer because she was tired. it took 30 minutes, our order was wrong, cashiers were rude, multiple employees were sitting in the lobby on their phones and we could overhear cursing from the kitchen. this experience eliminated any respect i have for wendys, i will not return to this location or any others and urge you to do the same read more

The Wendy's in Mechanicsville turnpike was ok. But I'm really irritated... My whole family got what they wanted but me. I asked for a baconator (it cost about $8 for combo) with a large Dr Pepper and fries, but instead I came home with a small drink and a burger that ain't a baconator. It was small and squished, had the patty slipping out and everything, looked as if someone had stepped on the burger. It wasn't even worth $2 (and I spent $8 thinking I came home with the right thing.) .. At least they got the fries and type of drink right... Ahg. read more
