I came through here on the night that Hurricane Michael Passed through. They had a downed tree in their lot, but they were the only thing open after my plane came in so there wasn't a lot of choices for me. We ordered one of the Chicken nugget meals with a coke. What I ended up getting was a chicken nugget meal, cold fries and a coke zero. This didn't make me happy, but I ate some of the chicken nuggets, none of the fries and gave my friend the coke. Horrible slow service and this is not my opinion from just one visit. I have been to the drive thru multiple times. Yesterday was the last straw. My food order was wrong again, the employees had zero customer service skills and the manager on duty was a complete jerk. Employees were eating pink cupcakes and dancing behind the counter while the drive thru line backed up with frustrated potential lost customers. The issue, in my humble opinion, is that the management does not care about customer perception and do not manage their employees correctly. When you order your food 3-4 times at the ordering kiosk, mainly because the staff is not paying attention, after you have been waiting, asking the employee, if you can place the order with no response, you start to get upset. Then when you drive to the window and the drink order is still incorrect, your frustrations grow. Then when you drive off, and the order is still wrong, you are very upset at this point. Then you park your car, go inside, and receive more attitude and horrible service, and the manager on duty is the person with the worst attitude, you cut your losses and just decide never to go back there again. Out here in VA visiting and I decided to Ordered Wendy's last night and wanted to warm up the chili I got, The chili was in a separate bag from the meal I ordered so it's been in there since, I have not even touched or looked at it till now. I am so disappointed that the employee who packed my food had the nerve to put this in there not thinking it was gonna be an issue. Don't stop here. Worst Wendy's in richmond. Needs new management and associates that actually have customer service skills. Drive thru always has what feels like an hour wait. Sometimes are only taking cash.....in 2023. Tonight I was in the passenger seat as my dad was trying to order two identical biggie bags but one sandwich without pickles, etc. The girl got frustrated somehow and rudely interrupted him while he was politely trying to make sure the order was correct and kept saying "2nd window....2nd window"...he drives up and asks the man there to repeat the order. I just went through the drive-through about 5 minutes before lunch started. I was going to ask if it would be easier for me to order from the lunch menu or breakfast menu. A woman spoke through the speaker and said they were closed to set up for lunch. I asked what time lunch would be available. She said 10:30. That's perfectly fine. I said "Okay! I'll be back in a bit!" and then she said under her breath, "I bet." I just moved here and I've only been here twice. The first time I came here we asked for crackers with the chili and the woman at the window didn't say anything, rolled her eyes, slammed the window shut, and then tossed them at me. My husband came here and went inside since the line wasn't moving outside and after waiting in line for about 10 minutes, someone in line asked if they were taking orders and the gentleman behind the register said no, but they never let anyone know this while people were waiting in line. This Wendy's needs to fire everyone and start over from scratch. I'm always afraid to ask for anything or mention something missing because I know they'll have an attitude about it. If you're able to, just skip this Wendy's. You'll be in line forever and then be greeted with an attitude no matter how nice you try to be to them. Probably hands down the worst fast food restaurant we have in our area, lived here about a year and every time we've tried it we say to ourselves it couldn't be as bad as last time... to rude workers, long waits, wrong items, and even the cleanliness of the inside ( health inspection needed) which is for some reason is never open they keep the door locked during business hours so even if your order is wrong your forced to wait back in a line in the drive thru that always looks busy bc it's so slow , owner needs a hard reset and start from scratch it's been like this for so long I'm reading from past reviews too, all of which I can verify is very true, had very nasty experiences with some of the workers... had to throw my drink out one time because I even thought one of the employees spit in it!!! read more

Like all those who reviewed before me have said, this place is slow. I sat here for over 45 minutes and still did not recieve my food. I was able to watch the line of customers also waiting for their orders grow until it looked like a mob ready to storm the counter. When asked about the wait I was given dismissive answers and when I asked for a refund for my meal they refused. The workers were constantly yelling and arguing with each other. Seen the reviews about the drive thru and honestly it is a wait because of how busy it usually is even at night time before closing. Never had a cold meal as far as a burger or nuggets. When we 1st arrived the cashier cashier notified us immediately that they were out of chicken nuggets. Slowest "fast food" place on planet earth. Went to the grocery store to pickup a few items and decided to grab some nuggets on the way out. There were 4 cars in the Drive-Thru when I pulled up. I sat in line for 32 minutes before getting to the menu to place my order. I then sat another 8 minutes before the guy working drive-thru actually took my order. After placing my order I waited another 20 minutes before getting my food and leaving the parking lot. It really took them 1 hr to move 5 cars through the drive-thru. Not to mention, when I did get 10 pc nugget and coke, the guy hands me a coke cup literally covered in soda. It took 1 hr to get my food and you couldn't take 2 seconds to wipe the thing off before handing it to me? P.S. - This has happened MANY times before at this location, I keep telling myself I'm never coming back but this was the last straw. read more

Usually I don't do review but I decide to check yelp on Wendy during lunch time. The reviews were bad so I decided to take the challenge on drive thru after work . So most of the review are true. I waited 15-17minute just to order and probably another 7-8min just to paid AND another 7-8min to get my food. But I also notice people who order and drove out of the line (guessing they couldn't wait any longer to take the challenge ) thats probably one of the reason why they mess up the orders. Anyway, so I waited to receive my food, they do argue with other co-worker to hurry up (probably another reason why they mess up the orders). But who cares it's Wendy right? I walked in being the only customer there, I stood at the counter for five minutes while the only employee was filling up sugar caddies. this is officially my favorite wendy's in the area! there was a bit of a line when we pulled up but it went so quick! when we got up to order at the drive thru the guy taking our order was so kind and even went out of his way to make sure that they had just enough of the strawberry frosty for my order (it's AMAZING btw). when we got to the window they were attentive and very kind, made sure we had all of our food and drinks plus frosties and gave me all of the sauce options when they were out of what i wanted. Overall amazing experience and this will be our new regular wendy's! working in food service right now too, i understand how trying work can be and how frustrating it can be having such an intense labor shortage, but these guys took it with stride and i appreciate it so much! read more
