the menus of a fast food restaurant

Thai location always has a line. That's probably my main issue. Standard Wendy's fare and always solid in preparation. I have had a mix up in pick up but I have had that every fast food location. This location is surrounded by new developments so there may be more competition in the future.

Went through the drive thru for lunch and it was fast and efficient. Good customer service. Got a spicy chicken combo and the food was good, as one would expect from a fast food place. The food was warm and not stale. Would definitely return.

It's not my life's mission to visit every Wendy's in Nevada, but I most likely will. Just be thankful I don't review them all! (smirking) The W. 5th street Wendy's in Reno is conveniently located near Keystone and I-80. So it's easy to get to with a nice out of the way intimacy. Carlos rang up my order flawlessly and was a fantastic conversationalist. Turns out neither of us is a huge breakfast fan. I guess that's why I'm at a Wendy's at 9:00am. My Grilled Chicken sandwich was up to par as was the chili. Huge problem with the iced tea. Had a strange off-taste. Is it the water? Is it old tea? The young lady on the grill thought it might be the fact that they not longer serve Green Tea. Nope. I drink Wendy's tea in a myriad of places and it's pretty consistent. I didn't dare finish it. I finally listened to my wife's advise and exchanged it for something else. This location is the old style model and IMHO they need to remodel and among other things create a self service pop machine station. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. But I am the first customer of the day. The tables actually had that sticky odd film. But years of greasy spoons and the like...I ignore such things and eat off the sandwich wrapper and the tray. By the looks of things I'm not sure I'd visit here after dark. Not a cozy looking neighborhood and they don't have near enough outdoor lighting.

Good burger, lousy fries. The french fries were not fresh or hot, barely luke-warm, and extremely greasy! I hate greasy, limp, soggy fries!

Our customer service was awful. We asked a question at the drive through and the lady snapped at us and walked away. Totally rude.

Called about 15 minutes ahead so I had no wait on a Sunday afternoon. In Midtown you can take your food into the Pub if you want a beer. There are a couple picnic tables outside but don't count on a seat being available. I'm a purist whenever I try a place the first time so got their basic burger with everything except cheese. We also got a Bacon Cheeseburger, no onions. Everything was very good. Even though I complain of too much salt on food 10 times more than too little, if the high quality meat had any seasoning I didn't taste it and didn't care that much. The Chipotle mayo was extremely mild. I actually had to check if there was any. It's the bun that makes the burger and hits the home run. It tasted like it was freshly baked! The fries were perfectly seasoned, for me, but maybe not enough salt for the fast food addicts, like the burger patty. Cute that they include a couple roasted jalapenos. I bet no more than 1 out of 10 people actually eat them. It's on the pricey side ($17-$19 as of Oct 2026) for a food truck burger but not that unreasonable considering the quality. Given the Mexican theme, I was expecting more 'zip' in the taste, even on their basic burger, at least for the Chipotle mayo. Burger 4.5 (bun is a 5) Service 5 (call ahead) Value 4 Total: 4.5 rounded up to a shaky 5, assuming the other more exotic burgers on the menu are a bit better.

There are a couple places to sit indoors and outdoors, we opted to sit outside. Our cashier, Alex was kind and knowledgeable about the menu. I opted for a bacon cheeseburger protein style and regular size of tater tots. The bacon cheeseburger was delicious and the tater tots tasted fresh and were crunchy. The prices are affordable and I look forward to returning when I'm in the area.

My review is based solely on an ongoing parking issue and not on the quality of the products or…read moreservice. The owner of Ruby Shake Shop routinely parks his Audi in the limited public street parking spaces along South Virginia Street directly in front of Raising Cane's, Ike's Love & Sandwiches, and the surrounding businesses. Anyone familiar with this area knows parking can already be difficult, especially during peak hours when people are trying to grab lunch, pick up an order, or make a quick stop. What makes this particularly frustrating is that these spaces appear to be occupied for extended periods of time, often throughout the day, by someone who owns and operates a nearby business. Public street parking in a busy commercial corridor is a shared resource intended to serve customers and visitors, not to function as a personal parking space for a single business owner. This review is not a reflection of the products or service at Ruby Shake Shop. It is simply feedback regarding what appears to be an extremely inconsiderate use of limited public parking in an area where parking availability already impacts customers and neighboring businesses.

Until this 4th of July weekend (250/2026) we had never heard of Archie's. It was recommended to us and we stopped in on Sunday the 5th for lunch on our way out of town. What an amazing choice. I ordered their bacon cheese burger. Guess what? It was GIANT. It was delicious. It was perfect. Comes with fries but I got onion rings. The onion rings were perfect too. Largest order of rings I have ever seen. The burger (1/2 Lb I think!!) had nice thick bacon in every bite, two large and fresh slices of tomato, a big old slab of an onion slice, mayo and lettuce. I can't remember if there were pickles. It was the best burger and onion rings I have eaten in at least ten years, maybe 20. We will be back, EVERY time we are in town from now on. I can't recommend this place enough. Special shout out to David, our server. This guy made no mistakes. Laughed at all my stupid dad jokes, was attentive, patient while my companions changed their minds 36 times, and was friendly too. Says it was only his 2nd day on the job, but I wish he had been working for us at our restaurant (Hokkaido Noodle House) in Sacramento. He is a pro already, give him reasons to keep working for you boss. Don't worry, we won't steal him from you, we are retired and closed our joint 10 years ago. Rock on Archie's! You have earned a few new fans today.

Was surprised it had a second floor with a small deck and pretty decent views! Big place. Great Happy Hour Deals (half off drinks) and other specials. I haven't eaten breakfast there but the burger I'd put in the top 4 in Reno. It is giant diameter wise but the meat is the same amount of a smaller thicker burger which makes it no too hard to eat. I'd call this a Purist's Burger. Crisp lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, mustard, sauce. They went really light on the sauce to the point I didn't think it had any. Fries were excellent too. Price is very reasonable (that's typical near a college.) I've tried Royce, Juicy's, and The Parlor. I'd put Archies below Royce and Parlor but above Juicy's. Two left on my list are Armando & Son's Butcher Shop and of course Beefy's.

Been waiting a long time to try this place. It did not disappoint. Yes these are ~$20 burgers but…read moreyou get what you pay for. Top quality meat and different meat & cheese choices. (Their Classic in my photo is probably their least impressive looking burger.) I ordered medium rare like always at a high-quality joint but I accidentally got someone's medium-well, and after tasting both, I actually preferred the the medium-well as the grind on the rare part of the medium-rare was a little mushier than I'm used to. Probably because most places you order a medium-rare you actually get a medium. Not here. I'd go medium on a return visit. I like they don't overseason the burger with too much salt like a lot of other places. Eaters with palates desensitized to salt due to a lot of fast food/burger eating may find the need to add salt to satisfy their salt craving. The burger sauce is also served on the side and is a bit milder, and more homemade tasting compared to your average burger sauces. This is great because the meat is so good you really don't want to overshadow it with salty seasoning and overpowering sauces. If you're going to dump a bunch of salt and sauce on it, just go to In-n-Out. They also have sandwiches, tenders and chili. If you think about it, a butcher shop deciding to serve cooked food is taking a risk. If the food isn't that great it can affect their meat business. The shop atmosphere is very upscale with high prices to match it like the rest of Rancharra Village. Very limited indoor bar dining and some tables outside. Not sure if the really high prices for the meats and seafoods in the case are worth it, but the saying "you get what you pay for" at least applies to the burgers here. My only suggestion is take a sharpie and scribble the cook temp (medium, medium-rare, etc) on the paper in the burger basket so groups don't get their burgers mixed up. They verbally pointed it out but it's easy to forget by the time you get back to your table with 3, 4, or 6 burgers. Fry basket is a great value, easily enough for 2 people and probably some of the best thick cut fries I've ever tasted with sort of a very light seasoned crispy panko outer texture to them. Updated Reno Burger Rankings primarily on quality/taste but also value is factored in but to a lesser degree: #1 Armandos #2 Royce #3 Beefy's tied with The Parlor #4 Archies Giant #5 Juicy's

The place was quite busy, a little difficult to get attention. But once you get a butcher, polite, and professional, and friendly. Definitely had a good interaction with the butcher or counter professional. I do have to say this place is kind of pricey. From the $150 a pound crab legs to $60 a pound grass fed beef. Even the smoked ham hocks were two dollar pound more than Raley's, which is considered quite expensive to me. However, the personal service here made it worth the extra price as I told the guy I was looking for smaller ham hocks , and he offered to cut them up for me. With the five kids out of the house, we just don't need giant pieces . Since they are already frozen, easy enough to separate the pieces and keep some frozen. I would definitely come back here for a specific items if I'm on this side of town
