I was hoping this was going to be a place to go when I need a quick lunch or dinner, like I would do back in California, but it turns out the quality is too bad to even consider it. Chili's watery, chicken is bad, bread was soggy (could have been the amount of spread), too much spread, fries are poorly made, lettuce and tomato were low quality. How does Wendy's manage to stay alive as a business and not get bought by one of the better fast food chains? I sometimes wonder whether they even know they're competing against a handful of other stores and, if they know, whether they care. I got food from this place a lot when I was a kid, and didn't really have a problem with them back then. Now, they've lost their charm for me and just aren't the same anymore. They're now another restaurant that offers mediocre food at absurd prices. I don't really have a problem with the service because they're nice and quick. What I do have a problem with is how they can have sandwiches that are in the $3-5 range when Subway does the same, although Subway's sandwiches are much bigger. Seriously, these burgers are tiny. Unless you order the 3/4 lb burger, they all are. How is it that the Asiago Ranch Chicken Club is $5.29 and the Cheesy Cheddarburger is 99 cents when they're almost the same size? One has a slab of chicken, a slice of cheese, a piece of lettuce, a few strips of bacon, and some mayonnaise. The other is just a beef patty and some melted cheddar between two buns. There's no creativity here, they're both way too small, and one shouldn't cost more than five times the other. Okay, so Wendy's burgers are pretty much horrible no matter what you order. Getting a decent meal here is a matter of knowing the right things to order. You can get a 5-piece spicy chicken nuggets here for 99 cents, which would be a good deal... if this were McDonald's. These chicken nuggets are also really small, not that great, not that spicy, and really have nothing going for them but their price. For 99 cents, you can also get a small normal frosty here (basically chocolate soft serve ice cream), which is about the only good thing that comes with no strings attached. There's also the fries which are okay, but they're honestly kind of tasteless without ketchup and show a lot of potato skin. It's really unappealing. Another option is a single cold and tasteless baked potato with chives; it comes with sour cream and butter, and sells for $1.39. I personally don't think it's very good, but it's a lot considering the price. For fast food options nearby, there's a Subway and McDonald's farther east along Redmond Way. I hate to say it, but the KFC nearby is also kind of bad. You could probably even get better food for a lower price at the QFC nearby. Just not here, please. The cheap burgers from the 99-cent menu are bare-boned and disappointing, and the more expensive ones are just the same. Nearly everything else they have is bland or otherwise unpleasant. I do like their frosties, but you could probably get a similar treat that's better at Dairy Queen. Really, the only time you should ever come here is when it's late at night and all the other stores are closed. Otherwise, stay away and get food somewhere else. read more

The outside trash cans are always full, so they obviously do not change it that often. The place looks like it could use a makeover, it still looks like something from the 90s. I have been at Wendy's around lunch time twice in last 4 days. It is clear there is no management oversight here. Not only have we had to wait up to 15 min just to order, but the orders are never correct. Not just for us, but others in line. They seem understaffed and are not quick to understand what the customer wants. I went up to get a drink refill and after waiting 10 min, with no one asking what I wanted I just walked out. This afternoon, I went to this Wendy's on Redmond Way to order at the drive in. There was a car waiting at the outdoor phone for what seemed to be at least 5 minutes. Finally, he pulled forward and I pulled up to the phone and was told "just a minute". So I waited about 5 minutes and saw the line backing up with several cars and I spoke into the phone about the backup and the person on the other line said there was a large "doordash" order and told me that I should park my car and come in and order. I said, that was aburd and that I would go someone else to get my lunch, and that's what I did. I've been going to this Wendy's for years and the service today was totally unsatisfactory. read more

Ok seriously the rudest employees ever. There is one guy running the drive thru...this guy is a jerk. Never once greets you or says Thank you. Just hands you thr food like a mindless robot. Thought the dude was having a bad day but nope he's permanently pmsing. The funny thing is that it's not just this one stank face dude, it seems all employees have issues. It's rare that they say thank you or even greet you. I don't get it. I even emailed corporate about the guy but he's still there attitude and all. The food is hit or miss like all fast food joints. If I really want some chilli I'll drive to kirkland. I try to avoid this place. Very poorly managed. Rude manager. My last order, a couple of days earlier had been missing an item, but we had already driven far away before we started to eat. No way we were going to drive all the way back. Brought it to the manager's attention, and was rudely asked "We need a receipt" I said, "Here it is, right on the app." showing her, she swept her hand away, saying "I can't read that, it must be the paper receipt." I mentioned that that was thrown away. I said, "Don't you trust us? We trusted you to give us what we ordered." She then replied, "Park over there, I have a whole line waiting." They brought us our missing item. They could have handled that much more professionally. I've NEVER treated my customers that way in 35 years of running my business. Is it too much to ask, to be treated with a little respect? I was going to give this two stars, but it was already two, meaning I would probably bring up the average somehow. I tend to agree with previous reviews. I've gotten stomach issues after eating at this location on a couple occasions leading me to believe that something isn't right at the Redmond Wendy's. In addition, the employees frequently talk instead of doing their job - to the point where no one is being helped, yet a line at the counter starts forming. It always seems they are out of ketchup at the condiment counter. If you want Wendy's, might I suggest trying the location in the Overlake area along Bel-Red Rd? That one seems to have their act together. read more

Wow this place is really bad. I went a few days ago and was given the wrong order. Even better was the fact that I was given the wrong change for either that order or mine! I went again today and the person in the drive-through did not say even one word to me. Also, I was not given a spoon, straw or anything else for my Frosty. I am understanding how busy a day like today is. The sun is out, and I'm sure the store was slightly understaffed. The nice gentleman at the window who took my order (accidentally spilling my ice tea on me, but it was not a big deal), sent me home with a cheeseburger with mustard and pickle only. This Wendy's is horrible. The food isn't good most of the time. They have trouble getting the orders straight. I called to complain to a manager (he/ she ) (I couldn't tell the sex) who said they couldn't give me credit for their getting the meal wrong and treated me as if I was lying because I said " we ordered 2 regular cheeseburgers but were given one junior size." Someone please go help this manager by finding new employees for him ASAP. We just now returned to our shop from ordering lunch there. I stood in line for what seemed an eternity because the woman behind the counter seemed to be wandering aimlessly filling the order for the guy that ordered ahead of me. She finally stepped back to the register and as I stepped up she said "I'm not taking your order you need to leave before I call the police". I asked for the manager and she started yelling to the manager that I was threatening her and now I was getting everyone involved. As the manager came to the register we explained what was going on. The man she served before me was one of my employees and explained to the manager that I had not said a word to her yet. She had been rambling some incoherent threats towards him while getting his order together. This used to be a real nice place and had really good service. The manager there today did a good job in getting our order and getting us out the door but he needs help. This woman had to be on drugs for the way she was acting. The manager was also having a hard time explaining to the woman making the burger what different items meant (had to make mine twice). Please Wendy's management step in and help this poor manager. The guy managing the drive through literally all but called me fat, and said I could use the exercise coming into the store to order. He was pissed because I'd ordered 7 sandwiches in the drive-thru. Typical fast food junk that you feel guilty about putting in your body. I always feel ashamed when I am in a drive thru like "oh god is anyone going to see me here?". It seems like this is one of the few places in Redmond (which is good) to get a meal that comes in a grease stained paper bag. Just had my first Premium North Pacific Cod Sandwich. Steer clear, over priced, WAY over cooked, fish is smaller than the bun, 1 leaf of iceberg lettuce, too little tarter. Mc'D has a better fish sandwich than Wendy's. I've been on the search for the best fast food fish sandwich for a bit, Arby's has been the worst, Wendy's next, Mc'Ds (so far) the best. I wouldn't believe it unless I tried it, so I did. Unfortunately, Wendy's Cod sandwich was rated highest in look, taste and quality... I didn't see that today in this store. read more

Among the national chains, I think Wendy's offers some of the best-tasting hamburgers and chicken sandwiches. This is as true for the Redmond location as it is for the others I've visited. I tend to use the drive-thru window most often, and on occasion it's been difficult for employees to hear my order through the speakers (I don't have a strong voice). When this happens, they usually have me pull through to the drive-thru window, take my order face to face, and fill it while I wait. I'm not sure where all the bad reviews are coming from, because in the nearly 10 years I've lived here and been visiting this location, they've never gotten an order wrong. read more

Arrived with a coupon from the local newspaper. They had no idea how to redeem the coupon, giving a free chicken sandwich. Today's issues: -The person taking my order (in the drive-thru) somehow heard every word I said except "single" and rang me up for a double sandwich (thankfully I know what the price should be and immediately asked if it was a single, which it took him awhile to figure out how to do). -My drink came with ice when I asked for none, had to have them to redo it. -I got one sauce when I specifically said "a couple" even though I have numerous times in the past been given two, so it's not like there's some policy there... -The person in the second window handling these last two things spoke literally not a single word to me. She just stared with this flat, silent expression and I genuinely got the impression she was completely pissed at me for wanting the things I asked for. Maybe none of these seem like a huge deal on their own (though the silent stare was actually unsettling and quite poor customer service, I think), but the whole experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. It felt like everyone either didn't know what they were doing, or just didn't care. Furthermore, I probably wouldn't be bothering to type all this out though if it were just this one incident. The problem is I've had bad experiences there before as well. A completely wrong sandwich altogether, doubles when I've ordered singles multiple times, the ice-in-drink thing is common enough, people not knowing how to ring things up, etc. I'm not a confrontational person and it's not comfortable for me to have to REPEATEDLY ask them to correct things in one visit. I like the food but as often as not, going there is a stressful experience. I wish there were another location within a convenient distance. I'm giving them 2/5 because, as I mentioned, I like the food, and because sometimes it does go smoothly. It's just that the incidence rate for dealing with people who don't seem to know and/or care about anything they're doing is too high. read more

I've been meaning to review Redmond Wendy's for quite some time. My kids love the food and I must admit that the food is decent, but the service is so bad that they still only deserve one star, if that. Today we received atrocious service. The woman behind the counter didn't say one word to me -- no greeting, no thank you, not even a friendly grunt. She didn't repeat the order, she just appeared annoyed at my presence. $17 later I went back up to request my BBQ sauce that she forgot and she basically glared at me handed it over without a single word like I was a huge bother. Management at Wendy's -- kindly do us all a favor and teach your staff some mannersand customer service expectations. The cold shoulder and attitude we receive as customers is beyond ridiculous. On Tuesday, I went with friends to Wendy's in Redmond, WA. I got French fries, along side with my homestyle chicken with mayonnaise, mustard, pickles and ketchup and a Coca-Cola. The food tasted better than Vegetables. I ate with my friends with Judy, Meredith, Caleb, and Madison. The workers are very nice, and provided awesome service as shown by their Perfect timing.
