Stopped in to grab the best burger Wendy's has ever created and also the chicken variant of it. When I tried to order it I was told by the cashier and what I'm assuming was the soft manager that they didn't have the pretzel bun and two of the cheeses used to make it. This sandwich was just brought back 5 days ago and you are out of basically everything to make it and you have promotional material all over the outside and inside of the restaurant for it? I asked if it was because of sales and they both said no, they just didn't have the ingredients. I said ok and left drove down the street to another place and got a chicken sandwich. To be honest, I never had an issue with the service from this particular location. Seeing as how other people's reviews here are on the rather negative side, I thought I'd step up and provide my input. First off, as you all well know, this is fast food my friends. What do you expect? And as for it being fast food, these people are doing a rather decent job at it I might add. Yes, you can sense at times that some of them don't want to be there. But let's be honest though. Do you truly want to be where you're working at too? For most of us, I'd consider that a no. So, cut these good folks some slack. Ok, so now that that's out of the way, here's my review... On the aesthetic side, I find the architectural remodeling rather pleasing to the eye. That goes for both inside and outside of this establishment. I particularly like the way the front of the building facing the highway lights up at night. That is truly impressive in my book. Stepping inside, I am rather amazed by the openness that surrounds me. In the dining area, it doesn't feel like you're boxed in. There's room to move and stretch out if you'd like. What I am particularly fond of most is the seating area adjacent to the parking lot. From there you have a good view of the surrounding businesses and traffic from along the highway. And don't forget those picturesque views at sundown. The problem is most of us are too busy to scarf our meals that we take this for granted. To them I say, put that burger down and look around. You might actually be surprised with what you've been missing all this time. In regards to the interior decor, I like the overall layout. It is simplistic in it's approach, yet stylishly modern. One thing that strikes me odd is the TV running at the same time as background music is playing. Unless if the set is showing accompanying music videos, it makes no sense to having both on. I'd suggest removing the TV altogether as I highly doubt anyone is paying attention to it anyway. As for the staff itself, they're doing a fine job I must say. Very accomodating and respond rather quickly in fulfilling orders placed. Mind you, this is during lesser peak times. But even when faced with a higher volume of guests, I notice that the line still runs relatively smooth. In conclusion, I would just like to say the following... Everytime I have made a visit to this particular Wendy's location, the service has been excellent. No complaints whatsoever. They're serving typical fast food of which they do well. Hopefully there are some fellow Yelpers out there who can see beyond the basics (fast food, what a shocker) and comment on other aspects of this establishment. Of course, that's without posting just for the sole purpose of making a complaint. Avoiding run-on sentences in the process would be a much more welcomed approach here as well. Completely dissatisfied! I ordered a double Bourbon Cheeseburger meal. What I received was a chicken sandwich meal. I had time so I took it back. The kids behind the counter were joking and laughing and not paying too much attention to what they were doing. I finally got in touch with the manager and they get my burger. Stay away from this store their management is horrible. Got home our order must have been mixed up with someone else. Immediatly called the store and was rudely treated by a female manager. We never received a receipt. She said she had our receipt and we got what we ordered . It was not even stuff I would ever eat. She would not make good for it. I gave a call to the corporate customer service and they could have given a rats ass. They also would not offer to make the order right. I question the reason that she supposedly had out receipt . This is not my first issue with this same Wendy's. I dont know why I even go back. Had a coupon for a free 10 pc nugget with any purchase. The so called manager Arriana store # 6409 stats her system isn't accepting coupons. So I explain that is not my issue coupon need to be honor. She went on to discuss some sort of coupon option then back tracked and said there is nothing she could do for me. Great customer service. Handed my card back no thank you have a good day nothing. 18 minute wait in the drive-thru with only 2 cars ahead of us. They boy who took our order was rude and impatient. Out of the 3 drinks we ordered they were out of 2 of them. Then they proceeded to forget half of our order and when we brought that to their attention it was almost as if it were a pain in the ass for them to go get the items necessary to complete our order correctly. My family and friends all really love Wendy's. This particular one, notsomuch. Recent drive-through experience resulted in a long wait, unfriendly service and being overcharged. We finally ordered after a very long wait for only 2 cars in front of us. Our hot sandwiches were cold and our Frostyccino's were warm with very little Frosty added; They tasted like day old coffee with some warm milk and ice added. I like the quality of the Wend's product.. However, this location is the worst I ever have been in. The place is not that old, but one visit inside will convince you not to stay. The only thing that is apparently clean in the floor. Cleaniless of the table bases have never been cleaned, filth lu and rusty. The dinniing room walls need painting, never cleaned.. behind the counter are the fryers and are filthy, old fries all over the place.. walls are dirthy, window filthy and it does not appear welcoming... service is extremely slow and no effort in getting the job come. No motivation.. there are two other Wendy locations some miles away (hamburg and pottsville which I frequent) and it different as night and day. Very disappointed in this Wendy's location! The cashier had no listening skills. She messed up my order, I said dine in, she made my order to go. When I got the food, it didn't have a burger patty and didn't have the coleslaw in it. When I went up to tell her, she was like, oh we out of coleslaw. This place was absolutely filthy, its unfortunate that the lowest you can go is one star. Everything was covered with grease, appeared that nothing has been clean in a while. Huge puddles of water left for over 20 minutes on the floor, by the soda area that the workers gave nothing but a sign saying watch out. Tables has trash left all over (cups, french fries, ect). Bringing up personal issues in front of child customers. Burgers overcooked, windows and glass doors disgusting. My husband and my in laws and I all went to eat at Wendy's tonight for dinner. When it came time to pay the girl behind the counter did not know how to give out the right amount of change back. Then when it came time for the drinks my in laws had to get ice from behind the counter because the ice machine had no ice and not one employee filled it while we where there and the drink that my mother in law wanted was out and again nobody could fix it. When it came time to eat my father in law got a small cheese burger and the burger was only half the size of the bun like they cut it in half only gave him half a burger. My husband and mother in law well they had cold sandwiches my husband got a triple and all the meat was not heated probably and my mother in law got a bacon cheese burger and her bacon and burger was cold. We didn't have time to complain about it because I don't think there was a manager on shift and if there was he or she obviously can't do the job right. I got a cherry berry tea and it was semi warm and it didn't have a really good taste so I don't think we will ever eat at this Wendy's or tell anyone about this Wendy's. We will go elsewhere from now on you just lost our business so maybe you should go through a class with your employees on how to fix things cook food properly and count change back the right way.
