Quick stop for a chocolate Frosty and ordered a burger. Might as well right?! I ordered the Bourbon Bacon Cheeseburger and it was so good!!! It has bacon, French fried onions and bourbon sauce. It totally hit the spot. I also love their spicy chicken sandwich. My only complaint would be that it doesn't come with lettuce and tomatoes but I'm sure they would add it if I remembered to ask. read more

Enjoyed a nice square meal (get it?) on the ride home with the family. Service was quick, but the cashier kept trying to start a conversation with my daughter, who clearly wasn't having it, and I'm sure she meant it to be nice, but it continued even after we left the register, and it just wasn't appreciated. This place is awful. Full of employees who don't give a crap. I have to assume the manager doesn't either. I really enjoyed my stone cold last burger order with my mealy rotten sour tomato and rotten brown lettuce... the nicest touch was how it looked like someone almost karate chopped it in half... it was in it's own bag with a four piece cold nuggest and the new shitty awful fries this place always manages to give old and cold. The worst part of the experience here is the logistics just getting inside. If you're driving north on U.S. 9, access is easy; there's an entrance to the Poughkeepsie Plaza Mall just before you get to it. If you're driving south, you have to do the usual left-turn and double-back routine. The Wendy's parking lot is delineated from the rest of the Poughkeepsie Plaza parking lot by sidewalks. So if you're walking there from another part of the mall, you have to deal with parking lot traffic as well as the drive-thru line. Nothing good or bad about this Wendy's in general. It's clean and very well maintained, as are the rest rooms. The manager checks with customers dining in when time allows. They recently (or since the last time I was there), added TVs in 2 of the corners of the dining room. read more

It's gone from bad to worse here. I was just in here today on a whim when an Uber ride brought me nearby and I felt I needed lunch. Although I found a parking space, despite the lack of ample spaces, when I got inside, not only did I first see a long line with not enough space forming this line (the rope could only be so long), but today marked a new all-time low at a Wendy's when I actually saw an employee (who later took my order and fill my drink) reach into the cup with her bare hand of another customer's and tried to fill that cup with soda(I said nothing - sorry other customer for not reaching out if you are reading this). But things got worse from there - although they corrected the issues as they came up. The person who took my order grabbed a cup and moved behind the pole to fill my cup (up and out of sight) (what did you do with that cup behind that pole, young lady?) as she saw me wait patiently tray nearby at the register. I felt like asking another employee to fill my soda cup, but knew I wouldn't be able to catch anyone's attention. But it got worse yet still. The order and tray moved down to the next person after 15 minutes of standing there - and when the second employee picked up what was supposed to be my Daves Double burger, she picked it up and noticed some type of sticker saying it was a chicken sandwich. You could tell something went on as the burger got passed - yet the wrapper came to me with the correct food (perhaps the wrapper was changed behind-the-scenes). I ate the food - having knowledge of everything at that point, and proceeded into the bathroom (Person's gotta go too) where I was greeted with a stall room door that locked only when the handle wasn't touching the stall plate (door open and it locked correctly, but once it touched the plate, the lock wouldn't function and it would remain unlocked.) I just took care of what I needed to take care of, rinsed my hands - fearing something else was going to go wrong and proceeded out. As I waited in the bathroom, I felt I needed to buy a cookie still - and when I came out, I peeked around the corner, and noticed you had sold all the cookies but the sugar cookies and there's no need to elaborate just how bad sugar is on the body. I couldn't stand it and it was my last straw. I headed out - angry but ready for changes to come here - it's necessary and prudent Wendy's to look into this location's mannerisms. read more

i am very displeased with the outcome of my order along with numerous failures brought upon this fast food restaurant. The employees failed to use proper hygiene, they were handling my food without gloves, touching everything in their sights including money. And the caps of our sodas. This course of action brought a tear to my eye, were going through a plague yet they fail to wear gloves. Do you know how many germs are on our hands on a daily basic? nonetheless covid exist. They failed to complete our order along with the employees snotty attitude, she failed to wear gloves. Having been to this location on several occasions, they are quick and efficient with their orders. The location is clean and the staff is very friendly - for some reason I always end up in a conversation with the cashier while waiting for my food and they've always been pleasant to speak with. I came in looking for my usual spicy chicken Sandwich with spicy nuggets, be the special caught my eye - pulled pork sandwich with pulled pork fries. I was surprised at how good it was. Didnt have high expectations for a BBQ food at Wendy's, but not bad at all... I'm almost tempted for more but I've already met my fast food quota for the month. read more

I don't ever bother leaving reviews for fast food, but this Wendy's location has finally pushed me to it. I've been a fairly regular customer since I started working at IBM (4 years now) and I've had more disappointing experiences than I have had convenient ones. Just to name a few: Once my side salad was half frozen and contained rotten lettuce pieces. On another occasion, my burger bun was stale and hardly edible and today, even though I spent nearly $9 on a meal, the employee at the drive-through window wanted to charge me 15¢ for BBQ sauce because it wasn't a nugget meal. Apparently Dave feels that BBQ sauce is incompatible with his chicken wraps, burgers and fries and anyone who foolishly asks for some is deemed a moron and charged extra. I'll be sure to inform my IBM coworkers of this mockery so they can avoid it and, instead, head to 5 Guys where they can happily wash down unlimited free peanuts with as many little ketchup and vinegar cups as they desire. read more

I was very upset about my visit today! I gave the cashier my order 3 ten piece nuggets w 3 medium fries and a chicken sandwich with medium fry and a small chili.
