ALIYAH IS AWESOME!!! Give that girl a promotion. Food is always good and they are super fast.

Very delicious, very affordable, good quality. The bun is soft, the beef is crispy, the fried onions make it even crispier and tastier. The only thing it's missing is pickles and tomatoes for me (forgot to ask)! Def one of my favorite burgers I tried the shakes, which were super thick and not too rich. However, they sorta taste like protein shakes.

I loved the original Moonburger in Kingston and was going to go out of my way to grab some on our weekend trip but found out they opened a few more locations. The one in Poughkeepsie was on our way home so we stopped at this one. It is inside a gas station and since we don't like to eat in the car, we went to dine in. As it was inside a gas station, there wasn't much seating but there is 4 seats at bar-like ledge and seating by the "spaceship window" which plays a video and was super cute. We ordered two big combos with impossible burgers on their machine (one with regular fries and apple juice and one with hot fries and lemonade and without griddle onions). Order came out just as ordered. Worker explained that the apple juice was technically a kids box but gave us 3 because we ordered the big combo and were obviously not kids so one juice box wouldn't have been enough. Everyone was super nice here. The worker actually came by and explained that he didn't think the fries were up to par and gave us another set that was definitely better. I mainly come because I love their hot fries and they definitely didn't disappoint. Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

We were driving by and my husband pointed out the bright red sign. I was ecstatic because he knows how much I love Moonburger. He also knows that I usually only indulge on the occasional trip to Kingston, where I first fell in love with this business. I went through the drive thru because I had a very sleepy baby in the back and ordered WAY too much food. I love how delicious Moonburgers are especially since they're impossible patties! They also offer gluten free buns, which means that I can indulge in a true burger experience. They have tasty hot fries that you can pair with their yummy cheese sauce and to me, it's the perfect meal. The drive thru is painted in a very colorful mural but I was so intrigued by it, I forgot to snap a pic. You never see bright art like this at a gas station (which is where Moonburger is located). Next time I'll have to go inside because I'd love to see what it looks like. The staff was also super friendly and the food was ready very quickly. I did try to order ahead but they weren't accepting orders at the time. Maybe next time!

Vegan burger drive through place! And it's so good. We ordered a cheese burger which came with a patty that was super juicy. Usually vegan/vegetarian burgers are dry but this did not disappoint at all. The buns were soft too. And we ordered a side of spicy fries and they were yummy. The service was pretty quick.

Moon Burger is located to the very far right corner of the building.

The drive-through entrance is to the right of the mobile station. The sign is really not that large and very easy to miss. One has to know that Moon burger has a location there. I was not familiar with Moonburger and I'm not sure if it's a Regional or NATIONAL chain but I decided to give it a try. MENU: the menu is very small, which is probably a good thing in many ways. There are four or five different types of burgers, most with onions so my request was a special one. Essentially, you can get a single or double burger with cheese, pickles, onions, and crispy, onions, lettuce, and special sauce. Given my allergy, I had to opt out of the onions and special sauce. I opted in for regular fries, but there was an option for seasoned fries. The beef itself was an odd texture. I'm not sure if it was made from fresh ground beef or not. It was really difficult to tell. For example, at five guys, you get the feeling of a fresh burger and super fresh fries. Dollar for dollar, five runs laps around Moon Burger. Small or large version which included a beverage. SERVICE: the service was pleasant and patient, but this is not fast food. You will wait for your order. VALUE: at nearly $14, next time I'll drive through Wendy's. I am sure if you like fried onions and some of the other fixings, it may be worthwhile to you, but I just wasn't that impressed.

TODAY I went in to the counter, WHAT IS THIS CHEESE SAUCE? damn! Young man at the counter was superb even in up selling me to a double and to get the cheese sauce for my fries. So Good! I had a kid like feeling standing onboard a rocket ship. So cool !!

As a vegetarian I'm always on the hunt for the best of the best in vegetarian cuisine. I'm officially in love with the Plant Palate and their F I R E empanadas. Handmade, baked to order, these empanadas are a feel good meal. Make sure to try their rice and beans side. They have a little kick too! So I ordered the ground beef copycat signature empanadas which can easily fool ya. I honestly had to do a double take because just from the look it felt like this was real ground beef. The sriracha mayo gave it the perfect kick too! To put this empanada to the test, we told our meat eating sister that this was a ground beef empanada and ours was the vegetarian one. She ate it convinced that it was meat. A few hours later we finally told her she had the same one we did. She couldn't believe it and it really had her fooled. So 100% compliments to the chef! They also sell sweet (nutella) empanadas (I'll def be trying this one next time). Bottom line: vegan, vegetarian or meat eater, you NEED to try the plant palate. It will leave your palate having a party with the extra spicy kick and the bomb flavors. Thanks to the Plant Palate for making amazing food like this. Can't wait to try some more!

The views in the Hudson Valley are literally breathtaking from almost every angle of every city. My Wife and I have both had Farmers and Chefs bookmarked in Yelp for quite some time, so finally heading over was so exciting. It was a beautiful day so we headed to the patio. Love the indoor/outdoor bar area. I ordered a dirty martini. Made perfectly. We shared the Farmer's Wings, oysters on a half shell and a mixed green salad with Goat Cheese, soooooo good. My Wife also went with the Salmon & garlic mash served with green beans. Hella Good. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Our server, a very kind gentleman, who's name a cannot remember made our experience even more incredible by going above and beyond to direct the umbrellas just so that the sun wasn't in my Wife's eyes and our view of the walkway wasn't blocked. Amazing. I look forward to your next dinner at Farmers and Chefs and implore you to get your butt there soon. Cheers, The Happy Hour Huntress

We sat outside and it was mostly pleasant, aside from some pesky mosquitos -- citronella candles or similar would be helpful to have on the tables. I got the 50/Cut Burger on a bed of mixed greens (no GF bun option), and it was super tasty albeit slightly overcooked. The shoestring fries were also good. The Negroni I ordered had a good balance of flavors but I always prefer a big rock of ice vs. chipped ice, which waters down the drink too fast. But they supplied a legit Luxardo cherry, and that certainly elevated the experience. The service was fast & friendly. I enjoyed it, and would return to try some of the other menu items.

Although Poughkeepsie has a decent variety of excellent restaurant options, there aren't a lot of upscale places to select from. We opted to book reservations for Brasserie 292 for a Saturday night. When we arrived, we were nearing the end of the dinner rush. We were sat right away, unfortunately it wasn't all too romantic being sat in the middle of the restaurant but understandably the restaurant is on the smaller side. The waiter was attentive, and addressed any of our questions about the menu, even hunting down the bottle of pinot noir we ordered. We opted to start off our night by splitting a half-dozen oysters which came with their in-house hot sauce, and an order of pouple, which was cooked to perfection. For our entrees we selected the red wine braised lamb shank and the dry aged prime NY steak. Since sides for both entrees were not mentioned on the menu, we also ordered sides - wild mushrooms, brussels sprouts and crispy smoked peewee potatoes. Overall the food was excellent and I'm still dreaming about the mushrooms. If we lived locally, would we go back, maybe but overall we had a great experience. We visited on the Friday before V-day, the house was packed around 18:30. The wait was 45 mins which wasn't too bad for a Friday night. We decided to wait in the lobby after trying to find a cozy waiting spot near the bar and missing. My wife attempted to order me a mocktail, but of course the bar was crazy busy. When the bartender finally acknowledged her, the mocktail requests obviously threw the bartender for a loop because I ended up with watered down ginger beer and a sprig of mint. My advice for anyone looking for a virgin drink at this bar would be to order a club soda with lime and call it a night. We were seated at the 45 min mark, and were escorted to the packed bar, where they have some exterior tables for diners. My seat was in the middle of the couch split, which I found mighty uncomfortable so we opted to request a seat in the main dining room, which the staff happily obliged. With dinner we ordered hot tea and were given lukewarm water and a choice of Stash teas. Our beverage experience here was very disappointing. The calamari arrived and may have been the only highlight, although we didn't find it to have that fresh calamari texture. My wife ordered a ravioli with mushroom, and felt the pasta and veggies were just swimming in butter. I ordered my steak medium and it was okay, but the juices from the greens made the croquettes soggy, and unenjoyable. The server did his best, and all the staff here are so kind. Coulda been an off night but I doubt we'll be back anytime soon. The Mocktail Madam.
