This is what I saw when I opened the sandwich

Been going here quite a bit for the past 8 years or so and haven't had a problem. Went this afternoon and ordered a chicken philly on a sub. When I got home and took a bite it tasted bad instantly. I opened up the sandwich and it looked as if they used canned chicken in water which they threw on the grill and then threw on a couple of craft singles. Why use such poor ingredients when you have the real ones right there?! Wasted $8 on an inedible sub. I think I'll just be sticking to their breakfast sandwiches for the foreseeable future.

Good staff, solid food. For a college kid there's nothing better. Would be 5 stars but the service is lacking.

I was told to order the #4 or the Vodka Chicken Parm hero. Ended up walking out with over $350 worth of food because I was so blown away. I'm not really sure where to begin: first of all as an Italian, walking into the restaurant already felt like home. I was blown away from the fresh made pasta's, various sauces I could take home, Arancini's (rice balls), and then how could I say no to the desserts. I was in heaven. I had a great conversation with the fabulous ladies behind the counter. I'm pretty sure everyone behind me picking up orders were like "can this guy leave already?". But I just had to continue chatting with everyone. The ladies helped me get everything from around the store that my heart desired. And then I remembered, I was supposed to come in and get a sandwhich. They showed me the screens mounted on the walls which clearly had a custom ordering template built out from the store with all the modification elements to add/remove toppings as needed. Blown away again. I'm a technology salesperson and that part hit a different satisfaction for me as they had this down - and quite honestly the Italian market/pork store is not where I'm expected the highest level of technology lol. Just blown away. Lastly, I told them about my fiancée and how her family owns DelFiore's pork store down on Long Island. At that point they grabbed Fabio, the owner, and we had an amazing conversation as I learned he knew exactly what DelFiore's was and even offered to help give us advice if we ever want to get into the family business. I was supposed to go in and get a rocking $25-$30 sandwhich and I walked out with $350 worth of food because I was being assisted by some of the nicest people I've ever met in the food industry. Just the most genuine caring people. Mind you, I had to schlep all of this back to Brooklyn NY in a Suburu Outback rental. And if you are wondering if everything stayed in the trunk on that drive back, fughetaboutit. I'm popping arancini's like candy on the Taconic home (no small feet with those turns). These people are in the food business because they care about making people's days and giving them the best possible food. Protect these people at all costs. This is a Mecca for quality Italian provisions. I'll be grabbing my fiancée and heading back up so we can continue chatting with everyone and not holding the lines up. 11/10 experience I'm blown away if you couldn't already tell. Just take my money, I can't pay enough for such enjoyable days. That drive home sucked at rush hour, but they all made it worth it. I like to think I gave them all a little enjoyment as well :). I was a little confused by the takeout process, as I had to wait about 15 minutes for my sandwich after ordering. That said, the sandwich was absolutely massive and delicious--I couldn't even finish the whole thing. On my second visit, I ordered online for pickup and had the sausage and onion pinza. My order was ready as soon as I walked in, making for a much smoother experience. The pinza was excellent, and just like the sandwich, the portion was so generous that I couldn't finish it all. The restaurant is very nice, the food was consistently delicious, and the portions offer great value. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I visited Lola's Cafe with my sister while walking on the Walkway over the Hudson Trail, in fact, if you're on the trail and go down the staircase that points to downtown Poughkeepsie Lola's is right to your left when you get off the staircase. We ate the autumn, chicken salad, wrap, and the Baja chicken wrap. My sister is gluten-free and was delighted they had menus with their gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options. The staff member who took our orders was kind and generous in his service. Interestingly they also sell coffee beans, merch, and to-go foods from their kitchen. On my next visit, I look forward to trying the cheesecake and one of their bowls, paninis, or salads!

You order at the counter and take a seat at the counter or tables. Their menu offers reasonably priced sandwiches, salads, and grab and go baked goods, including separate menus for vegans. We enjoyed the special chicken tzaziki wrap, salmon salad (tender and tasty), the vegan quinoa bowl was ok but a bit small and not too exciting. They also were preparing catering offers and there was a pretty constant stream of customers. The space is rather small but we got there at a good time to find seating. They also have a tap water station. There's only gender neutral bathroom, which makes for a little wait at times. Street parking and a small lot a short walk away.
