First off, the place is unsanitary, tables were un kept, floors not swept, and the counters were dirty. One of the workers had their shirt up and hang under their shirts handling food. Hmmm...so much hate going on for this poor little Wendy's. I was driving through Larryville on the way back from work and decided to see if this location was still around and low and behold there it sat. Well, they said that you could only order from the kiosk. I was a bit worried about that if I would be able to enter options that I wanted with my meal from the machine, but they were all there. I successfully ordered all of my stuff. I had a large baconator meal with coffee. There was no actual milk that you could order for on the screen, but I just enquired about that when I went up to get my meal. They seemed to attend to my needs well. Heck, I really have no room to complain. You know what to expect with a Wendy's and they delivered a well cooked meal. I think that when in a pinch they will do for me. read more

When you are in a jam or say for instance you skipped lunch at work, this will do. I can't really say anything new or astounding about the food because it is basically par for the course when it comes to Wendy's. What I can say is that this location looks out of place in this ever changing section of the city. Sitting on a corner of the busy intersection of Penn and 40th makes for a hard task of visiting during daylight and evening hours. However late night is pretty easy going. Especially if you don't mind getting your food at the drive thru and eating at home. I know there is probably minimal staffing at night. Even if this is the case, they were speeding at delivering service. It looked like they were rather busy when I stopped the one night. One thing that could change is how they process cards when using the drive thru. Get a reader for the register at the drive thru so that the worker doesn't have to go back and forth to the main counter. That was the only slow down here. read more

Had never been to this Wendy's, but drove up and saw people inside, studying and waiting for food. Went to both sets of doors and they were both locked. People inside just avoided eye contact. I called the restaurant while waiting in a never-moving drive thru because I was confused about the doors being locked with people inside. The lady answered and said that they were having a shift-change, and the dining room and drive thru were closed. Said only the drive thru would open once the shift change was over. I swear people don't work here, like some days they just decide they're wrapping up shop at 7pm and go home. The funny part is that people will wait in the drive through line (multiple cars) and sit at the intercom waiting for an employee to return, but they never do. The bigger issue is that you can't even go inside the restaurant, they lock the doors so you can't call them out for not working! But food is average, it's a wendys. I've waited in the hopeless drive through a few times and actually made an order, they haven't put bacon on my burger since 2017 despite ordering a baconator. Their frosties absolutely BUST and the customer service was top mf tier. Wendy herself came out to my car and polished the windshield and tires. Now requiring you order via mobile and no drive through option. Learned this when I pulled up to drive through at 9pm. So, I downloaded the app (doesn't work particularly well) and ordered a meal. I pulled around to the window and the guy asked me my name. I told him and he goes you have to say your name at the drive through mic (keep in mind, I am at the window and the drive through mic speaks literally to the man I gave my name to and there is a big sign plastered over the mic that says mobile orders only, reasonably leading any half wit to believe they should pull up to the window to give their name for mobile orders). Confused, I was like well there's no one behind me and I'm telling you the name of the oder now. He then responded it didn't matter and I would need to go through the drive through again. So I backed up 25 feet and through the drive through Mike he goes "Name?". I honestly thought I was on candid camera. I'm like yo dude, we just talked, two seconds ago, but it was at the window, remember? Anyways, I gave him my name and pulled up to the window , again about 25 feet away. Pulling up to the window AGAIN he goes "Hi Sir, name?" At this point I'm CONVINCED he's punking me. So I give him my name again. He goes "you order thru mobile?" I wanted to be like YO this is the THIRD TIME we are having this conversation within 2 minutes. Instead I answered "yup" got my steadily declining in substance and quality spicy chicken sandwich, cold fried, and overrated nuggets and drove off. Yikes. This is why when I'm in a pinch and need fast food, I choose McDonald's. Obviously this is a ploy to exploit the pandemic and allow Wendy's to not pay one more drive through cashier. Crystal was very rude. Have hella attitude. They gave me attitude when I tried to change my order, assumed my order was finished and told me "get on with it" to take the rest of my order. Crystal told her employees to "get her out of the window" speaking about me. I don't often write reviews of fast food establishments or places with many locations but I felt the need to write this one. I stopped at this Wendy's simply because I was in the area and it was the only one on the way to where I was going. Upon entering this Wendy's i realized this was a slighter older location that hadn't been renovated. The bathroom was fairly disgusting and if I didn't have to drive 30 min I wouldn't have gone to begin with. I ordered my 3 items and let me just tell you I almost instantly regretted it. It was 12:30 on a Sunday at this point and when I ordered the grilled chicken Asiago sandwich she had to yell to the back to see if the grill was ready. How can your drill not be ready when it's 12:30 already? I ordered everything else and proceeded to wait for my order with 3 other individuals who had been waiting far too long for a fast food restaurant. I watched the staff working behind the counter and they were in absolutely no rush. It looked like they were just now getting things out for the day. Had they been prepared for the day maybe people wouldn't have been waiting forever. Even if you weren't prepared maybe you should chit chat a little less and get to work. When I entered the establishment one of the customers was already standing around waiting and after probably 5-7 min she told him it would be another 7min wait for whatever he ordered. Clearly because they weren't prepared. I watched the person up front have no manners with another customer. He thought she had his order ready and proceeded to the counter to get it. Instead of explaining it was someone else's she just pulled the tray away from him and said "no". She then chuckled so he thought she was messing with him and tried to take the tray again. this location is next to my hotel i am at for work. i walked over & was apologized to that the lobby is closed but i could order online, it's 2022, that's fine ! i talked to 2 of the employees while i waited because they were outside as well. they were apologizing that they're under staffed and trying their best with the staff they have. we talked about how my hotel used to be the ones school and they were all over all very nice and doing as best and as quickly as possible. read more

This place is terrible. Pretty much every time that I have stopped by in complete desperation of hunger, I am even more disappointed and ripped off than I ever thought I could possibly be. Last week after forgetting half of my order (which I didn't realize until getting home (my own fault admittedly)), however, I promptly scoured the bag looking for the receipt so that I could 1) verify that my order was correct (even though I know it was given how much I paid) and 2) get the order number/phone number to call and let them know their mistake. After no avail I had to get online to find the number -- calling -- no answer. I should have expected this, they don't care about customers here. Then my wife calls the Wendy's corporate line -- in a surprisingly quick amount of time she talks to an actual human that apologizes for the mistake and says that a "case is opened" and the manager from this Lawrenceville location would be getting in contact with us. Yeah, that never happened. Screw this place. This Wendy's has made my wife and I stop going to other Wendy's -- that is sad. read more

First mistake was not reading the reviews. 2nd mistake was waiting an hour in the drive thru. 3rd mistake was thinking they would offer/provide resolution at the lowest level. Waited in line dang near an hour. Finally got to the Intercom to order, was told "I apologize we are extremely short staffed, we will be with you in just a moment". Waited about another 10mins only to get told "we apologize but there's only two of us working and my manager told me we can only accept mobile orders". So I asked even after we waited an hour plus additional time when you could've said it from the beginning. Mind you the door was locked to the inside. Employee proceeds to get mad and yells "WE'RE SHORT STAFFED BYE!! I'm a very understanding person, however I also expect some type of customer service.
