After finally placing my order, I got to the window only to find that several of the items I requested weren't available -- and no one told me that beforehand. Trash! The cashier at the drive thru needs a new job. Avoid this location at all costs.

There's something wrong with my order every time. They either don't put tomatoes in the burger, give me diet coke when I ask for regular, or any other number of issues. Their card reader was down for weeks so they only accepted cash. Now they told me they don't sell singles anymore only doubles. Anything for a quick buck. I am not sure what happened to this Wendy's location, but they have truly gone downhill. On three separate occasions we ordered through the app, and they have neglected to put items in the order, particularly the chili. Then tonight I just bit into a burger that pretty much had close to raw, severely undercooked bacon on it. I reported the issues, but I don't expect anything to come of it. Definitely done with this location, and pretty much Wendy's overall unless I can get to another location or pick the food up myself. One of the worst locations around. read more

This Wendy's is the worst one to go to bad customer service, my order was wrong I asked for an Asiago grilled chicken meal and when I got home to eat it it was a crispy spicy chicken with bacon on there and I don't eat pork for one then some other foods was missing the Cinnabon was stale after I spent $66 , I'm very upset and I was too far from store ,my family and I was very disappointed and I ordered from them off door dash had stuff missing from that in the past ,I will look for another Wendy's to go to. read more

I've been living down the street from this location now for 12 years. And I'm sick and tired of the garbage service. It's absolutely ridiculous at this point. The location closes at 3 AM. I just pulled up at 2:04 AM and a gentleman came to the window and told me that I couldn't order... That they were only serving pick up orders. And if I wanted to order online and use a car I could come back around to the window and pick it up... Stop having children work at your location. If people don't wanna come to work, fire them. There's no reason for the 12 years I've been here I receive the most deplorable fast food Service I received from any location anytime I come here after 11 PM. I understand the Night Shift doesn't want to do their job... They can actually just go he** if that's the case. There's plenty of people who want to work. It's 20° outside I wouldn't have left my house if I thought the location was going to not be serving. But the website says they're open. Google says they're open. THE BEST wendys around. They never disappoint. Its the only fast food place near me that i will eat at. The staff is great and the service runs quick and smoothly. Im never in there for long (unless its a busy day) my orders are alwags correct and they taste delicious. There's only one thing they could step their game up with and this is the bathroom service. There is always a foul smell lingering around the bathroom and the stalls look disgusting. Im glad the outside doesn't look like that. The third Wendy's review: This Wendy's so far is my favorite out of the ones I frequent. While I may be influenced by the fact it is a short 2 minutes away from school and a great escape from the zoo that is Germantown Friends, I still believe this is a premiere Wendy's location. (Imagine that, in Germantown!) While this Wendy's is clean, quiet, safe, I don't ever have to deal with my blood pressure going up as it usually does with a fast food restaurant. The service is also amazing for a Wendy's. The cashier is able to communicate in English with no accent, they are quick to receive the order and press the buttons, and nothing ever goes wrong. Finally, a Wendy's that doesn't make me want to leave the USA because of the horridness of what America has become. This Wendy's is safe, and good in my book. read more

Absolutely the worst Wendy's I've ever been to....Seriously!!!! Ordered 3 things, a cheeseburger with out mayo, a medium lemonade and 5 piece nuggets, simple right!?! My thoughts exactly. Instead I received a cheeseburger with what seemed to be extra mayo, I mean the thing had globs oozing from the sides, a lemonade and no nuggets. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I kindly informed them of the mistake in hopes of a quick fix so I can be on my way. Nope....the correction consisted of a DOUBLE cheeseburger (with mayo of course) and SPICY nuggets. To make matters worst, there was no one in the line ahead of me (should have been a sign) so my order should have been to the point and clear. I went to the Wendy's at 5434 Wayne Avenue at 5 pm today (12/22/22) and wondered why the drive-through line was moving slowly. I waited in line for 15 minutes to place an order at the MENUE kiosk before the pay window. When I moved forward to the pay window, everything was fine. When I drove to the pickup window after waiting another five minutes. The worker told me they did not have Sprite. He asked what drink I wanted, and I replied lemonade. The worker explained it was an upcharge of $.40. for lemonade. I replied, "Wendy's is out of Sprite. You asked us what we wanted, and we said lemonade. Why are you charging $.40 when you are out of Sprite?" The young man rudely turned around, walked to the soda machine, brought two ginger ale sodas, and said, "When we are out of Sprite, we offer ginger ale." What needed to be clarified in this written statement was he did not even ask if we wanted ginger ale. He just handed them to me. I mentioned we asked for lemonade, and he turned and walked away rudely without saying anything for the second time. The young man said something to a young lady standing close to him (who noted being the manager). She walked over and repeated the same thing the young man told us, "there is an upcharge and added do you want another soda or a refund? I said, please give me a refund. When she returned after completing the refund, I said thank you, and she walked away rudely without replying. Why would you charge $.40 when you do not have the requested drinks at the second window? Why have any attitude with a customer and act like I was changing my order at the second window? Why hold up the drive-through for $.80? Please retrain your cashiers to speak with customers and handle challenges professionally, especially when you are out of an item. Please communicate with the order-taking staff at the first window when you are out of an item. That may be one of the reasons the line is moving slowly because incidents like this are happening. I will never go to that Wendy's again because of the poor and rude customer service. read more

Haven't been to this location, in a while until a few days ago , and it was horrible. I asked for a baconator without the bun and the looked and laughed at me , like it was impossible to do.I had to walk them thru the process of how it's done at other location. Went there at 11am on a Sunday. Thought the place was abandoned, no signs of life. Happy that the door opened, I went in and ordered. The woman who took my order stared blankly at me when I told her someone forgot to turn on the open signs. She called someone (I thought) to turn the signs on, but she needed that other person to sign into the register. I told her again that the open sign was not on, and she barely acknowledged that I said anything. She didn't give me a cup to fill my soda, had to wait for my order. I thanked her, she did not thank me back, I think it was a grunt if anything. Rude. Every table had a film of some sort on it, and was dirty. Two managers were talking in the corner, I did not feel comfortable telling them how dirty and disgusting their store was. Carpet needs replacing. I will never go there again, nasty. read more

I would have given it less than one star if I could. I had high hopes for this Wendy's when it first came to the 'hood, now I'm completely hopeless about it. Food is OK, but the SERVICE is unbearable. I don't know why I keep hoping this place will get better because I'm sadly disappointed each time. Last night, there was ONE car in front of me. I waited for in line 10 minutes before I peeled out in a hangry rage--the person ahead of me hadn't even had their order taken yet in all that time! When I went around to the drive-through window to see what the issue could have been to cause the delay -- Armed robbery in progress? Hostage situation? Someone had a medical emergency? -- I see the cashier just standing there, no other cars in sight, just staring off into space. I have never felt the need to leave a Yelp review, especially a negative one, but this place deserves it. Service is abysmal.
