This review is for the drive-thru only. I came for lunch about 11:55 am and the parking lot and drive-thru was packed, but it took no time at all (way less than 5 minutes) from getting in line at the very front to paying and receiving my food all the way around on the other side. These workers were hustling and bustling. I doubt my order was laying in wait under a heat lamp because it took me driving a few more miles down the road before the fries were cool enough to touch (they were scalding, "hot oil" hot, only a masochist would have put these in their mouth at that temperature). I did order off the "value menu" (note, not everything is 99 cents), so the sizes were small (think child-like small), but I'm not complaining because I honestly do not need BIG fast food if you know what I mean. I will say, the thing that impressed me the most was that the bacon on the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger was crispy. Very crispy. I guess I've had so much limp bacon from various places that this took me by surprise. All in all, the food was hot, fresh, fast and to order. Can't ask for much more than that. read more

I haven't had good experiences with Wendy's for the past year and a half. The burgers have been extra greasy, the fries soggy, and I felt nauseous after eating it. Now let me make this clear- these experiences have been with Wendy's in general, not this Wendy's on Reid Street. Anyway, I decided to give Wendy's another try after not eating it for about 8 months. I went through the drive thru and the line was long, but they got through it pretty quickly. I got chicken nuggets, so I don't know if the burgers are greasy here. We love our Wendy's here in Palatka! Whenever we want a burger we come here! My husband loves onions on his burger but needs them cut up because his dentures don't fit him correctly. They never have a problem cutting his sliced red onions up before putting them on his burger and they always give me my extra onions that I love on mine! So we decided to stop for a bite to eat after a very hectic day around 10:30pm, I was expecting the typical fast food drive thru subpar service and food, but was I in for a surprise! First of all, I noticed that the speaker system was awesome, I could hear the woman clearly, she could hear me without having to scream into the microphone, she was extremely friendly, and when I got to the window, I was greeted with a very pleasant demeanor, and was given very fast service. I received my drinks, food, and of course Frosty (I mean, come on, it's Wendy's!) and parked in the lot to eat. The first thing we noticed was the heat coming from the bag. Our burgers were hot, our fries were hot and fresh, we had enough napkins, and ketchup. Everything was great, and I can say that this is the best fast food experience we've had in a long while.
