Only seasoned fries can't get regular ones forget that and then nothing on their menu to me anyway weren't the best. If if I'm going to fast food, I think it's gonna be McDonald's cause I won't go back to checkers. I've tried a few times given them another chance, but that was the worst fast food that they put in over here here in Palm Coast. We need some variety over here. Everything is the same either fast food or Mexican food or they need a variety or you gotta travel to Saint Augustine, even Daytona to me. It's just not worth it. I just wanted a quick and simple bite to eat , checkers's did me right . I got the 2 for $4 deal , no fries or drinks. I got the cheese burger and the fish sandwich , I really enjoyed them today the fish was simple just fish a little Mayo and lettuce/ and a simple burger w cheese, onions and tomatoes hey they were great , specially the fish , can't beat it 1st fast friendly service , 2great price , 3 great tasting . Super long duo lines even @1130a. Friendly staff. The signature Buford Beef burger is filling, but it doesn't look or taste like real beef. The Chili Cheese Fries aren't wonderful either. Doubt I'll be returning. read more

Me and Hubby had a late night burger craving... So he suggested we make a run to Checkers as it was the only thing still open on Labor Day. Well he talked me into it, burgers are one of my favorite foods, so it was hard to say no. I checked out their website before leaving to see what deals and specials they had to offer. I signed up for the text offer and got a free Big Buford, free food always makes everything better LOL. So we headed off on a little mini adventure. When we arrived it was about 12:10 a.m. so it was getting close to closing time which was 1:00 a.m. Even though it was close to closing time there were a few people there. We greeted it quickly and with a smile. We placed our order and we received great customer service. Food came out quickly. Everything was fresh hot and amazing. French fries were fresh and hot . The burger was better than expected it was hot the bun was soft and all the toppings were fresh and crisp. I was not expecting that with it being so late and close to closing time. We went to Checkers last night when it was a little less crowded. This is Palm Coast first Checkers and many are pretty excited. The drive thru took about 15 minutes to pay and get our food which isn't too bad for it opening this week. The menu was very limited due to shortages like American cheese, medium cups and no ice cream. The food was your typical fast food but very salty, greasy and perfect for a hangover. Loved the spicy chicken sandwich though. read more

I NEVER leave bad reviews unless my experience was really really awful. I ordered 2 burgers and fries at 8:29 pm. With 4 cars in front of me, I waited till 9:01 pm to get to the window. I was already not happy to be sitting in a car at what is supposed to be FAST FOOD for over a half hour, however when I go to pay, the girl tells me the credit card machine is down and it's cash only. I didn't have cash so I had to drive away super pissed off. Just typing about this has made me pissed off all over again. Don't go to this place.Who wouldn't be pissed to wait that long then leave empty handed. No issues at other Checkers I've been to, just the Palm Coast one. Crazy the owner builds a new place and let's this happen. Read the other reviews, don't take my word for it. Apparently long waits is the norm at this store. The worst checkers in palm coast the staff us dumb, rude and belligerent throws food, at me and my mother never gets the orders right, they r rude to me and my family infront of manager and manager didnt do anything about the employees behavior, it was dirty filthy , need to be inspected by the health inspector , there where roaches crawling on the window , they r just rude and disrespectfull, and my family and i refuse to eat there ever again, the person in the front window register was rude and disrespectful. Ive been in the restaurant business 30 years and ive never seen such disregard for customer service that ive ever seen and if i was the manager i would have fired the employee on the spot and refunded our money. I don't understand all the slander yet all of these comments are from about a year ago other then one, I just went to this location one night ago was super hungry I work delivery and everything is generally closed when I'm off work drove at 12:15am I drive to Steak n Shake to find out they're closed. yes Steak 'n Shake palm coast closed Iv been here for quite a while and have never seen this must have been "cleaning the restaurant" like they do every 4 months I live in the other side of town halfway back in the highway I half and half pleased an upset that I find out checkers is open and didn't even think to check before I went back on 95, whipped it around 8min drive back and sure enough, I pull up 12:55 they are open I'm greeted with a welcome about 5 seconds after I pull up I order two double checked burgers for $6 the large fry and mozzarella sticks. When I got back the food was actually still hot I drove quick in the highway though I was starving big fax not going to lie, Everything was good aside from the mozzarella sticks just didn't like them but as far as the burger and fries they were fresh and amazing. I'm returning again tonight with the assumption of everything is gonna be gucci, hot fresh food in about 6-7 min wait in the drive through no messed up order full and satisfied at 1:30am read more
