Kale salad with nuts and apple cider vinegar dressing.

I sincerely love Chick -Fil- A and its efforts for great fast food, the staff is always friendly and professional, and the drive thru always clean and efficient, a great visit every time, today I bought a kale salad and would like for management to make sure the kale bowls are full and not anything less thanks I would rather $5 for a full kale salad if you fill it all the way up thanks again, see you all soon!!!

First time ever at a Chick-fil-A. Now I know what all the hype is about. I was driving home from NY to FL and decided to see what the fuss was. It was 11:15 am, and as I approached the parking lot, the drive thru had at least 15 cars on the line. The parking lot was practically full. I thought "Who eats chicken at 11 am on a Wednesday." My excuse was that I had been driving since 6 that morning, so for me, this was lunchtime! The first thing I noticed was how many families with children were eating. It was such a clean, bright...cheerful place. The vibe was kind of almost "Disney-ish." By that I mean everyone, from the employees to the people eating, seemed genuinely happy to be there. I was happy to see that I could go and order at the counter...no kiosk necessary. The cashier directed me to the best sandwich based on what I told her...the deluxe chicken fried chicken sandwich with lettuce, tomato, cheese, waffle fries, and a chocolate shake. I sat down and a nice retired-but-working man named Les brought me my food. We had a nice conversation--I told him this was my virgin visit and that I was thoroughly enjoying. my food. He said "Where have you been all this time???" When I answered "MacDonald's," I thought he would lose it. Anyway, the food was fabulous. I know...it's fast food, how can I get so excited? But I just love fried chicken sandwiches, and this just excelled and met every expectation I had. The fries at McD's are still the best, but the waffle fries here were pretty darn good too. Another server came over and handed me a wet one, which I thought was a nice touch. All around, a great lunch, nice people, happy place. Can't wait to try the one in my neighborhood to compare.

My father and I were in Florida for some important family matters and after connecting with relatives it was time to go back to the hotel and maybe even grab a bite to eat. We opted on the nearby Chick-fil-A which I never get around to visiting much since there are no close restaurants near my own home. Ordered up a spicy chicken sandwich with fries and one of their delicious shakes while my dad opted for a chicken salad. Truth be told there was more chicken in his salad than was on my sandwich so I know for the next time. The place was nice and clean and the staff very courteous. When I checked in on Swarm, it was pointed out that they had been rewarded for their excellent customer service and that was nice to see. We didn't stay in said restaurant and instead brought it back to the room. If you are near this Palm Coast, FL establishment you cannot go wrong.

3.5 Stopped by here to pick up some lunch and go to the bathroom. It's busy but didn't seem crazy. I went inside to use the bathroom. It was clean and stocked with toilet paper and paper towels. My husband ordered our meal. Because we are on the road we chose to get Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches and nothing else. The sandwich is made up of a boneless chicken breast, two pickles and a toasted and buttered bun. Chick-Fil-A is one of my favorite places to get food from. I love the flavor of the buttered bun with the chicken and pickles. Just beware that these restaurants tend to get super busy and there could be a slight wait inside or even in the drive thru. At this particular place we didn't have those issues. Overall it's a good place to stop if you are on the go and would like a chicken sandwich.

First time EVER going to a Chick-fil-A. This location is always busy, but took a chance at around 2:30 for a late lunch. The parking lot was super busy, but I got lucky and found a spot as someone was leaving. Staff was very friendly, and our order was taken very quickly. A few empty seats in the dining room, so we opted to dine-in. Everything was clean - tables, floors, etc. Great job, guys! Thanks for keeping it clean! The older gentleman who brought our order was super nice! Everything was hot and tasted fresh. Waffle fries were a little limp, and my chicken sandwich a little smooshed, but not a big deal. Food was good. I didn't think it was "amazing" or anything that remotely justified the long lines and droves of people waiting, but that's just my opinion. My son enjoyed the nuggets, but thought they were a bit small. I thought the chicken sandwich was small-ish as well, and I was still a bit hungry after eating. All in all, a positive experience that was highlighted by the professional and courteous staff. Will I be back? Maybe. The parking lot pandemonium and modest serving sizes will probably keep me away, but you never know!

When we received our order, we were missing one of the 12-count nuggets, and the mac and cheese didn't have the bacon crumbles we ordered. I completely understand that mistakes happen, and that's not why I'm upset. What bothered me was what happened when we went back to the drive-thru window. The employee at the window said, "Who gets bacon on their mac and cheese?" It came across as though he was mocking our order. Whether he thought we couldn't hear him or not, it was rude and unprofessional. After all, adding bacon is an option on the menu, so there was no reason to make a comment about our food choice. Unfortunately, I didn't catch the employee's name, but he appeared to be a very tall, brunet male who looked to be around 16/17 years old. After bringing the missing items to their attention, we did receive the missing nuggets. However, instead of the bacon crumbles we originally ordered, we were given bacon strips for the mac and cheese. While that wasn't a major issue, it added to this disappointing experience. I've always had great experiences at Chick-fil-A, which is why this interaction was so surprising and disappointing. I do want to mention that there was a man who appeared to be a manager who corrected another young employee while we were there, and I appreciated seeing that level of leadership. However, the employee who made the comment about our order was never corrected, at least not while we were present. Unfortunately, we left feeling disrespected, which is not something I've ever experienced at Chick-fil-A before. I hate leaving a negative review because Chick-fil-A has always been one of my favorite places to eat, and this is the first bad experience I've ever had. I'm sorry to leave a poor review over something that may seem as small as bacon crumbles, but it wasn't really about the bacon. It was about the way we were treated. I hope this feedback can be used as a coaching opportunity, because no customer should be mocked for ordering an item exactly as it's offered on the menu.

My friend Angela suggested we try Palm Harbor Grill, where she's had good experiences in the past. The restaurant is located in a strip mall alongside other spots and appears to have been recently renovated. Inside was clean, organized, and nicely decorated. Our waiter, George, was friendly, down-to-earth, and very accommodating. He also spoke Portuguese, which made it easy for Angela to communicate. The menu was just okay. While it offered traditional Portuguese dishes, it also included Italian options, which felt a little out of place for a restaurant presenting itself as Portuguese cuisine. We started with the octopus in garlic sauce 5/5. It was incredibly tender and packed with flavor. Easily the highlight of the meal. The shrimp in garlic sauce, served with Portuguese chips and white rice, was a bit of a letdown 2/5. There was very little sauce for the shrimp to soak up, and the flavor just didn't hit the mark. The biggest disappointment was the grilled Portuguese sausage 0/5. It was fatty, cold when served, and honestly inedible. George tried three times to warm it up for us. What made it more frustrating was watching other tables receive theirs flambéed tableside. Ours came out pre-cut and at what felt like refrigerated temperature. When we asked why ours wasn't served the same way, we were told that presentation style costs an additional $6. Really? I had the sangria, which was enjoyable though slightly on the sweeter side 3.5/5. Overall, I truly wish this experience had been better, especially considering the drive to Palm Coast from Jacksonville. I was hoping for a taste of home, but unfortunately, it fell short this time.

I ordered the grilled wings with buffalo sauce and a steak wrap that came with a creamy worchestishire (worsterchire... Worcestershire... there it is. I knew autocorrect would kick in eventually.) sauce on it. I very much liked the grilled wings, I've never been to a place that doesn't just deep fry them and as a diabetic without a gallbladder, I generally don't get to have wings. It was a nice texture and I rather enjoyed them. I did make the mistake of eating them first though, which was great for the wings BUT not great for my wrap because while the sauce on it was delicious, it made my wrap completely soggy. It would be infinitely better on the side, or learn from my mistake and eat the wrap first so you can enjoy the taste AND the texture. The ambiance is pretty cool if you are into sports bars. There are approximately 114 big screen TVs hanging around the place playing all the sports, and one playing trivia, which is more my jam. The bartenders were all super friendly and the locals were all super nice too. Apparently they do half off wings or BOGO wings on Mondays, which everyone recommends coming back for like they do. You can even order all flats for a small upcharge, which is a nice touch for fellow wing purists.
