As usual, they didn't get the order correct. Paid for extra Brisket, didn't get it. Didn't want pulled chicken, that's what I got. No whipped Cream on the desert, which wasn't even cut up. Hubby and I wanted to revisit Sonny's Restaurant for lunch since it has been years. We were warmly greeted at the door by Laila and our server was Laila as well! What are the odds! The egg rolls were different - it had shredded beef, coleslaw, creamy pepper jack cheese, and wrapped in a wonton. It's deep fried and sliced for presentation. Very tasty! Hubby had a beef brisket sandwich with a side of coleslaw. He says the beef was not as smoked as he would have liked, though still tasty. My corn nuggets were a new experience for me and reminded me of something my Grandmother would make. So good! The Cuban sandwich was okay. Overall, the restaurant is definitely a kid-friendly place. This is a review for delivery service from Sonny's in Palm Coast, Florida. This was an order for my Birthday so I was excited to receive it. We ordered a Sliced brisquet sandwich, a full rack of baby back ribs, baked sweet potato, green beans, bbq beans, and corn bread. Our food was delivered by door dash who are always great with deliveries. Unfortunately our food was not correct. We did not get baby back ribs that we ordered and paid for. Instead we got st. louis ribs. Less amount than we paid for. We also did not receive a baked sweet potato. Upon calling the store and speaking to the manager, I was informed that they were out of baby back ribs and sweet potatoes. I asked why I was not called to inform us of this issue. He did not give a reason, only apologized. He said he would refund us for one of our dinners. To this day I have not received my refund. I consider this to be theft by deception. We paid for things that we did not want and did not receive. This is not the type of service I expect from Sonny's or the type of service of a manager. I don't know if we will ever go back to Sonny's or order from them again. And, by the way, we had just ordered from them 3 days before this time. read more

As for the food my Sonny's Cuban was surprisingly good! I was hesitant on having Texas toast for bread but this worked very well. The food was cold dry and just terrible. I sent it back twice. Was still cold and meat was dry. Waitress offered the baby back ribs. I said ok. But you could tell they were not fresh. So The other day wife & I ordered a Togo order of St Louis BBQ ribs however this rack still had quite a bit of membrane not removed from the rack of meat which made it much more chewier. I hear too this happens often but it was years ago and am not 100% sure since I never tried to go back again.
