    Bacalhau na broa

Really good food and really great service. Very authentic Portuguese. We went yesterday for Easter Sun so we didn't get a regular full menu. But nonetheless the food was still good. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is a little dark. I wish the lights were up a little more.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I liked that there was a live guitarist playing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Sangria, the polvo and the bacalhau na broa was delicious 10/10. The cabrito was decent. I've had much better. It lacked flavor and sauce and it was a little dry. The desserts were all excellent even the flan and I'm very picky with the flan. But it tasted just like my mom's. We will be back!

Paella was incredible and fresh. Cooked to perfection.

So how do you not compliment the food, service and atmosphere. We needed our fix on the best Paella and grilled octopus. We had the seafood paella and they have a better quality octopus and we had that grilled. On the menu was a bacalao dish so we were very pleased and enjoyed that also. We had the best espresso martinis I ever had. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great evening and fun also.....they had karaoke it was so cool.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

We decided to try Palm Harbor Grill because our wait at another nearby restaurant was going to be over an hour. Palm Harbor Grill staff was quick to seat us, take our order and bring us our lunch! The owner was so nice and took the time to really get to know our party. The waitstaff was top notch, very professional and attentive! The bun and breads are homemade and you can definitely taste the authenticity! This was the best pulled pork sandwich I've ever had! Thank you Palm Harbor Grill for a wonderful first time experience! We will be back!

Olives before dinner and delicious Portuguese food! Love the grilled meat so flavorful!

Out to dinner with friends, and our server Christiano! I gave this restaurant a C-. Never got more water after the first glass, sangria tasted like just wine and Oj, one person's grilled chicken was dryyyyy, pork and clams very salty. Linguini with veggies was swimming in oil. Bread was great. The insult to injury moment was being charged extra for using a charge card, $8.56 per check! Regardless of how much you spent. And note the tip has been added in, but it's in smaller print, so a few people overtipped by mistake after seeing the "suggested tip" amounts in the bottom. Bathroom was clean so there's that. I won't be back.

Ambiance, Service, and Food. A gem to find, simply going for lunch was fulfilling; whether you have been longing for the flavor or someone experiencing for the first time, you'll want to return again!

This is a solidly above average restaurant for Portuguese standard fare. All dishes were excellent. I do think the wait staff could have spent a little time offering wine options.

Looking for a fresh seafood restaurant with wild-caught shrimp and raw oysters near the beach?…read more Surprisingly, not this place. The name 'Turtle Shack' does not carry any significance. We did have clam chowder minus the clams and bits of potato normally found in most every clam chowder. It was essentially a milky broth. The fish sandwich was good. Our choice of Mahi was a nice-sized portion-control piece that had no doubt been purchased and delivered frozen, but to be fair was cooked to our liking. And it came with a large serving of crisp tasty fresh fries. The french dip sandwich was also pretty good. Plenty of shaved meat and a nice pineapple slaw side was more than enough to satisfy us. No complaints unless you thought clam chowder actually oughta have clam and potato in it, or if you were planning to enjoy fresh FL seafood at the 'Turtle Shack'. Instead, enjoy the burgers and the wings and the portion-control fish sandwich and the french dip and ignore the mis-leading name out front.

The corn fritters with the raspberry glaze are an absolute must-order. The sweet glaze pairs perfectly with the crispy fritters, and I could easily eat them again and again. We also shared the gator tail appetizer, which was cooked perfectly and made a great starter. I ordered the seafood platter with flounder bites, clam strips, and shrimp. Everything was fresh, generously portioned, and cooked just right. My husband ordered the catfish and asked if they could prepare it blackened instead of fried. They were happy to accommodate, and it was an excellent choice, it was incredibly flavorful. The collard greens were another surprise favorite with their delicious, slightly sweet flavor. The atmosphere was lively and fun, and we loved that there was a live band playing outside in the back. It made for a great evening. The only small suggestion would be to do a little more mosquito control in the outdoor area. It is July in Florida, so the mosquitoes were pretty intense, but that's certainly not enough to keep us from coming back. We'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area. If you're looking for a great local spot with delicious seafood, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere, Hammock Grill is absolutely worth the visit!

Not many people out n about so I couldn't really get a vibe for what the place would be like when it gets busy. I ordered the Irish Benedicte with hash that is homemade on premise with slow roasted corned beef. Very tasty. The side of Home fries were thinly sliced and I had gravy added to that so it was tasty too. Our server was excellent, Trevor was a very nice guy and he recommended we come back for the all you can eat ribs. I wish I was staying in town longer and I would. Wild Ginger's salad was cold, crisp, and fairly generous. The hibachi steak was served hot. The amount of steak we received was definitely on the small side. The fried rice was moist and tasty. Next time, more meat please. Service was very good. Our server was a tall young guy who was enthusiastic, prompt, and proactive - he followed up with drink refills without us having to wave him down. The beef was incredibly tender, slow-braised in a rich red wine reduction with pearl onions and mushrooms. The cream potatoes underneath were smooth, buttery, and perfect for soaking up that sauce. Every bite was delicious. We started with the Filet Carpaccio, thinly sliced and topped with shaved parmesan, capers, arugula, and crostini. Fresh, light, and beautifully plated. The bar program deserves its own mention. You can order a vodka soda anywhere, but here they elevate every drink with presentation and detail. Instead of a simple lime wedge, I watched drinks come out with full lime rounds resting on the rim. My Chocolate Martini dessert drink was practically artwork -- topped with a dehydrated orange slice, chocolate shavings, orange zest, and crossed chocolate-dipped sticks. It looked incredible and tasted even better. Atmosphere is another win here. Guests ranged from cocktail dresses to casual beachside attire and somehow it all fit perfectly. That balance is hard to achieve, but they've nailed it. We sat on the patio (about 67°) and they had the panels down, which kept it comfortable while still letting you enjoy the beachside atmosphere. Even the hallway to the restrooms was lined with art -- thoughtful details everywhere. Some restaurants look great but don't deliver on flavor. Others taste great but lack atmosphere. This place does both exceptionally well. Dinner for two with drinks came to $131 before tip, which felt very fair for the quality of food, cocktails, and overall experience.
