I would price it at about $7- the general price of a McDonald's Big Mac. Why? Because although it's a fresher burger with some idiosyncrasies, the Big Mac is more substantial. All in all, worth a try. Plus a lot of unique items on the menu that I look forward to trying. The burgers just need plumping up. I like them and will be back. Try them.

It's a rare day where one of them doesn't stop by the table to ask how your day is going, or how the meal went. As for the meal itself, you'll be greeted by a heaping bucket of various pickles on the table. The menu is enormous, with all the typical hot and cold sandwiches you'd expect from a great deli. From past bad experiences with burgers and product quality issues in many different airport restaurants, I normally don't order burgers because they are always cold, dry, tasteless, and downright horrible. But this burger from Shake Shack was surprisingly very good. I ordered from the self-serving kiosk and the wait time for my order was about 5 minutes. The entire restaurant including the counter area, dining area, and even the condiments station was all very clean and inviting. I ordered the Double Shack Burger made with two smashed angus beef patties, American cheese, and topped with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, and Shack Sauce on a toasted potato bun, an order of fries and a 20 oz bottled drink for $24.79. A little step, but of course, all menu items are à la carte, and this is airport dining. The bun was fresh soft, and lightly toasted. The burger patties were nicely smashed, hot, juicy, the cheese melted and all the condiments were fresh, cool, and bright. This burger was prepared with care and assembled beautifully to create the perfect burger. The crinkle cut fries were perfectly cooked, lightly salted, and golden brown. This was by far the BEST airport burger and fries I have ever eaten. Date of Visit: Saturday 05-03-26 Shake Shack | Newark Liberty International Airport | Terminal A
