I cannot fathom how I need to be in the middle of MesquiNevada to enjoy good Peruvian food. My only tip is to understand the restaurant front is hidden behind the Dermatologist office. I've had Lomo Saltado on my mind ever since I first tried it in Chile, so I've been wanting to try…read morethis place for years. I finally made the trip to Mesquite, and I'm glad I did. The restaurant itself is quaint and has a nice, casual atmosphere. The Lomo Saltado had tender beef, onions and tomatoes tossed in a savory sauce and served with rice and fries. Such a simple combination of flavors and textures, but damn, does it work. For me, huevo frito is a mandatory addition. I love the yolk nice and runny so you can break it over the rice and let it soak up all that goodness. My egg was more cooked than I prefer this time, but that's a minor critique of an otherwise delicious meal. The one area that could use some improvement is the service. I'm not sure if they were simply understaffed during my visit, but service was noticeably slow and not quite as attentive as I would have hoped. Nothing that ruined the experience, just something that could make an already good little restaurant even better. The food definitely satisfied the craving, and I'd happily give them another visit.

I visit about twice a year because I need something quick, delicious and a clean restroom so I can continue with my drive. This location does not disappoint. They have a busy drive-thru but orders are handled in a timely matter. I enjoy the dining area outside if the weather is good. I also like how their taco sauce packets are provided on every interior table. My fave reason eating here is that they sub their fries with other menu side items and the order person knows what I am asking for. Also, pleasant location on a hill and right off and on the freeway. I got dirctions from the Yelp app and was soon at the golf club. The restaurant is quite nice. There is patio dining and great views of the fairway(s). After looking over hte menu, I ordered the chili verde omelette. The omelette has Pork chile verde, pepperjack cheese, sour cream, guacamole, topped with pepperjack cheese and chile verde. The sour cream and guacamole are in small cups so you can use what you want. You have a choice of toast. I got rye toast. Butter for the toast is served separately in small plastic containers for those who want dry toast. The omelette also comes with some hash browns. I was served coffee shortly after I was seated and it was refilled once and I was asked about a second refill. It was a wonderful breakfast and made my drive to Mesquite a tasty place. The Grille gets 5 stars especially for the service. My server, Jessica, was delightful and so pleasant. I'm not in Mesquite often, but I would stop here another time for a meal.
