Rolled Tacos bomb!! Also ordered the asada fries . The meat on the asada fries was ehh. But everything else was delicious! Service was ok not super friendly or accommodating. Plenty of places to sit down and eat nothing fancy but worth a check stop. I would go back. read more

Food is is good and they are quick but when I go into an establishment and order something I expect it to be made the same way the next time..for instance the birria taco has to be grilled crisp before serving which is how I got it yesterday but today that didn't happen WTF ITS CALLED CONSISTENCY dammit get it right.. read more

Had three rolled beef tacos with guacamole. They were good, crispy, good flavor in the beef.

Very decent Mexican fast food! Friendly staff that will help you decide if you don't know Mexican food. Not a fancy place but very clean. Try their Beef Beria dishes. Best in town. The food is great and very reasonably priced. Check it out! read more

Absolutely the best!! The hard chicken tacos are just stuffed with chicken. All of their food is delicious!!!

I just moved to mesquite and tried ponchos for the first time. The carne asada burrito was great. No nerves or chewy pieces at all. Really fresh tasting guacamole. I'll be back to try more things . read more

We got takeout the other day. We ordered tocos. They were really good. They come with peppers.

My wife and I really like this place. We stayed in Mesquite for a day on a trip and stopped by for dinner. We liked it so much we stopped by again on our way home at the end of our trip. My wife got the birria tacos and I got the machaca burrito. Both were delicious, and I like the fact that they have free hot carrots and salsa in a salsa bar, not behind the counter. On the second stop, my wife got the birria tacos again, and I got a boiled chicken burrito. All was delicious again. And prices are great. We would highly recommend, to include for a stop by on a trip. read more

This place is terrible. I ordered a bean and cheese tostado when I came out this flat shell with a little bit of beans on it and a bunch of yellow and white lettuce with just a dribble of cheese for like five bucks and then I ordered a bean and cheese an onion burrito. Lynnette came out with no onions hardly any cheese in 5 pounds of beans. It was terrible. I ended up throwing it out and going over to Del taco. Don't go here you'll regret it! read more

I got the rolled beef tacos because I was reading people's comments about it. The rolled tacos are crispy and I feel like the beef is a little bit dry but once you got to the middle is a little bit better. My husband got the beef tacos and liked them. Fast food. I think it would be good if meals came with some chips. read more

While visiting relatives in Mesquite we stopped for lunch at Poncho's Taco Shop, and the food is delicious. Tacos are made with crispy shells formed with a pocket that allows generous portions of delicious shredded beef with plenty of cheese, chopped lettuce, onions, and tomato. I can't imagine better tacos at such a reasonable price! read more

The food is good here I've lived here for two years part time and I always visit Panchos. This summer something happened. Must of been a shake up or something All the regular employees are gone. Twice I have ordered from the drive thru and it was wrong when I got home. This morning I went in and talked with them and they got it ALL wrong again. It seems as though I order it clearly but the cooks screw it up. Maybe they just don't care How can you screw up a burrito one with no rice one with beans and rice This morning we got no rice no beans and the other no beans all rice Makes no sense... and I paid 30.00 for two burritos because I added meat but they can't figure out no rice!!! See what happens on the next visit The other staff was pleasant and cheery These new employees not so much read more

Don't go late night; food is not well cooked, greasy and their cleaning crew is inside the kitchen ...service take too much time and I was their only customer ambiance is not motivating too... For a city with casinos I was expecting better food late night. read more

I used the drive-thru to order a couple of Tacos for lunch. They make their tacos the way I like them deep fried with shredded beef.

This place reminds me of the drive thru Mexican places that we have in my hometown. The food tastes good but it won't blow your socks off. My combo was #5 with a beef burrito and cheese enchilada. The beef in the burrito was tasty, didn't have any fat on it and reminded me of pot roast. However, the cheese in the enchilada wasn't even melted. The portion sizes are big. The chips and salsa were chips with Pico on it so that was underwhelming and in an effort to get the food out fast, they completely forgot my wife's order, so I had to get back in line and wait for her to get done with a drive thru customer. All in all, the food tasted good and was inexpensive, but don't expect it to be high end Mexican cuisine. read more

Poncho’s Taco Shop - #5 Combo. Beef burrito and cheese enchilada. - Tacos Near Me - Mesquite, Nevada

Stopped in here for a quick dinner. Ordered 2 beef enchiladas, 3 carne asada tacos and an order of chips and salsa. It took a minute to get through the drive through as there was kinda a language barrier but we were able to complete our order. Hubby shared his enchiladas were good not what he expected as the beef was like Carne asada not shredded. My chips and Salsa was chips with pico on top. That kinda made the chips soggy and there was no spice to it. I also think the chips were not fresh. I didn't know the tortillas were corn. So we just ate the inside of the tacos. Overall if we had to go there we would cause it's close. read more

The food was okay, not bad. But the people working here, the lady in particular, was rude on multiple occasions for no reason. Made my wife and I uncomfortable as they seemed to be so unwelcoming and passive aggressive. There are many other Mexican restaurants in Mesquite. We will avoid this place. No one wants food from rude people. Ate here three times, but never again. read more

Stopped here yesterday and got 3 rolled tacos w cheese and guac. Very surprised that these weren't the typical pre-rolled/frozen ones most restaurants similar to this one use. These were hand rolled, freshly fried, not greasy and full of tasty shredded beef. Tasted homemade. They were covered in fresh/seasoned guac, shredded cheese that was melted and dusted w grated cotija cheese that was nice and salty. Finally, both the red and green salsas had great flavor! I was very happy w my food and will return when I'm in town. read more

Definitely the go to in mesquite! Good bang for your buck! Red or green salsa! Great combination meals. Burrito is big size!

When i am craving something drive thru food wise, this is my go to in Mesquite. I am obsessed with their green hot sauce and the chicken chimichanga. When i tell you the chimichanga is large, it could probably feed 2 maybe 3 people large. It was delicious and will be getting it again, forget all the common chain fast food restaurants in the small town! I also enjoy all of their breakfast burritos. Fresh yummy food in a speedy service and a decent price overall read more

Poncho’s Taco Shop - Chicken chimichanga (forgot to get a picture but figured I'd take one half way through because it is GIANT) - Tacos Near Me - Mesquite, Nevada

Very decent Mexican food. And I'm a native San Diegan. We ordered the carne asada fries, a California burrito and a carne asada chimichanga. We called the order in so pick up was quick and easy. The carne asada fries were decent. I prefer a larger fry that's a little crisper but the fry's were fine. The meat was slightly over cooked for us but flavorful and done right. Again this was a personal preference that we didn't ask for so no marks off for that. The toppings were good and seemed fresh. The California burrito was interesting. The meat had quite a bit of cooked onion in it and was very flavorful. The downfall to it was the potato and cheese were only at the very end. Poorly constructed but tasty burrito. My chimichanga was delicious. Very flavorful. I asked for no beans. I got no beans. The tortilla itself was amazing. They fried it properly and it was not soaking in grease when I dug in. Four stars because 3 is not enough and the flavor of the food was excellent. Can't fault them for personal preferences that I didn't relay. They could better build their burritos so you get all of the flavors in one bite. Will return. read more

This place is delicious! Everyone is very friendly and everything I've tried so far has been pretty good. Their breakfast burritos are delicious and they use cut up potatoes instead of hashbrowns which makes it so much better. Their carne asada tacos are also really good! Their red salsa is amazing and actually hot while the green is mild and has a nice flavor. I will continue to come here as often as I can. read more

I'm in town for work. Stopped by because I was craving a burrito or taquitos. I park and walk inside, theirs one person in side, but mind you I had looked at the ratings before going inside. Walked in 3 people were working. I wasn't acknowledged. ( one of the reasons for my ratings) So I said hi to them. They continued to talk amongst each other until they were done with their story. I ordered a burrito de carne asada with a large Jamaica. The burrito was ok nothing to wright home about. What I will say is that the tortilla is hand made. That's always a plus for me. Mind you I do come from LA were taco trucks are at every corner. The hot sauce was ok and the green hot sauce was ok also. So would say my overall experience here was mediocre. Sorry no pictures I ate it on the go. read more
