It took around 8 or 9 minutes and my frosty cup WAS LITERALLY TINY im pretty sure it was a kids frosty, Place was moderately clean. Cups and straws were stocked well. Unfortunately, this Wendy's has gotten worse. The introduction of AI (AI Fresh) for kiosk ordering has not gone well. All of my family's recent orders have been wrong. The AI can not understand special orders, I.e. "No Ketchup." How is a system that is flawed on all special orders helpful. At the first window, the crew member could not communicate due to a language barrier. The second window staff could communicate politely; however, she seemed overwhelmed. All receipts are a special request, and delay the drive through. For this, a manager needed to be requested In the end, the experience was negative and half the family got the wrong order Wendy's, you can do better and have in the past. I placed a mobile order on September 12 after work and arrived to be told that my order had already been picked up a few minutes before. I said I didn't pick it up, and asked if there could have been a mix up in handing out orders. The window attendant very kindly explained that that was likely and that to pull up to the next window and that they would sort things out for me. When I arrived at the next window, an employee said "I hate my job" and then turned her attention to me. I explained that I placed a mobile order but was told it was picked up already. She said that there was no mobile orders, and I again explained that it had been mistakenly handed out already. She told me to cancel my previous order, but when they had closed it out on their end the order went through on my end and I was unable to cancel it and I told her that. She told me that I would have to order again and pay again, and that I could take it up with the app. I was very shocked at the lack of understanding and annoyance from the employee at their own mistakes. read more

Went here last night. Disaster. Drive through had a paper note taped up saying closed come in. Went in got in line third in line to be exact. I counted eight people behind the counter working. I get some we're larger orders but with people in line waiting to order and the drive through closed there should have been someone dedicated to the people in line. This Wendy's is the WORST fast food restaurant I've ever experienced. Worst customer service here and they are guaranteed to mess up your order. If you do here, complete the following steps 1. Make sure you get your receipt . They like to "forget" to give you a receipt so that you can come back and ask for the right order when they give you somethingg completely different. 2. Double check your order before you leave.. if you ordered a Baconator, they will somehow have you leaving the drive thru with a Big Mac. 3. Idk I just wouldn't give this place anymore business. The food was perfect and delicious but the manager that was there was an absolutely despicable human being. He was screaming and swearing at the crew right in front of all the customers, including me. Instead of being a proper manager and helping his crew while it's busy, he stood there and just belittles them. I've seen plenty of managers help while it's busy instead of doing what that man did. We eat here all the time and almost never have issues with them getting the order correct (which, if you've ever worked in fast food, is unusual). The staff is generally pretty pleasant, and it's clean inside, especially after they rebuilt it from the ground up. Be aware, the drive-through can get pretty busy at lunch, and the line can extend out to the street (especially because there are inevitably a couple of idiots in line reading their cell phones and too stupid to move up and keep the line tight). I wasn't going to write a review for this place ever....but I literally had the experience of interacting with the rudest employee taking orders at the drive thru tonight at 8:45pm. Management should take a look at who was on the mic for this shift because they need to be written up for extremely poor customer service. He corrected me on the pronunciation of the drink I ordered for myself, then gave me lip when I saw on the screen that it said regular coke after I ordered a Vanilla Coke ordered for my wife. It was an extremely rude and disrespect exchange and I will never go back there again. Even his body language when he handed us our order was rude. He just silently handed it over too. He was the poster child for how you should not treat a customer. To management: why do you hire deadbeats who have no sense of customer service? Seriously? You can hire someone with a better sense of judgement and common sense and better manners for the same price. We have been going here for years and until the last couple, have had good luck. It's fast food so I don't expect fine dining, just get my order right and keep the place clean. Tonight I ordered 2 double cheeseburgers and a large fry. I get to the window and he says $18.88. I say for 2 burgers and a fry? I then asked for the receipt and I am referred to the second window. I'll spare you the painful details but 10 minutes later, 3 employees and a manager later I took my money back and left without the food. The whole time we sat there I watched employees laughing and yelling like it was a party, twice they stopped long enough to ask me what I ordered so they could get it wrong 3 more times I guess. They couldn't even do the basic math for the refund. The floor and drive through area are filthy and the employees uniforms were also dirty. The woman manager with the short short hair. mind you when we were at the microphone ordering one of the workers was rude rushing us I ordered a chicken sandwich he said "do you want it crispy or classic" I've never been asked this I took a second to think and then he goes "oh I'm just gonna assume it's Chrispy then" with an attitude we weren't done ordering at this point he started yelling when we had said we weren't done and even said he'd come outside to fight my boyfriend who was in the car. I had told him I had him on camera so I'm guessing this is why the manager and literally every worker were at the window when we finally got there to get the food she was saying "since you want to record us we record you" which makes absolutely no sense because her employee was the one in the wrong but hey to each their own right lmao. Then she proceeded to say her employee did nothing wrong held our food for as long as she could just to try to get a rise mind you the food was for my child whom was in the back seat seeing Wendy's employees behave in such a manner. I'll NEVER eat here again after seeing a person in place of power allowing that to happen let alone infront of a 3 year old child. Makes me sick. This establishment is just going to crap each day that passes. Will be contacting the company main office Monday because this is disgusting and showing them the video of what happened. Now this Wendy's is NICE! From the previous state, the Mansfield Wendy's is 1000% better. Bye bye to the old gross potholes, weird parking layout, and droopy landscaping. Bye bye to the old, gross building that previously lived here. Hello to a brand new building. No, this wasn't one of the thousand Wendy's locations that just got a remodel.... this location was rebuilt and is brand new in all aspects. Cleaner and more attractive than any other Wendy's in the area. From looking in, the dining room is definitely smaller than it previously was, but it's bright, user friendly, and actually pleasant to eat in. The old Wendy's was dark, and the tables and chairs were gross. The parking lot is brand new, and doesn't have the weird configuration that used to be there. For the drive thru, they have a designated lane, in a bright color pavement, and parking spaces surrounding the exterior of the lot. Pavement is brand new and doesn't allow for any of the puddles that used to overflow throughout the parking lot (that was SO bad!). Landscaping is brand new, and the grass is brighter than anywhere I've seen in the past few months. Staff are friendly, and the drive thru moves much faster. From the accuracy of the new drive thru speaker (you can actually HEAR the person working now....), and the use of two windows, the cars move along much faster and the accuracy of orders is more guaranteed. And lastly, people (at least myself) should feel better eating here. It didn't used to seem like a relatively decent place to eat, that was clean in the kitchen. I really don't think it would have stayed in the previous state so long if McD's or Burger King were present in the area. While this used to be the worst Wendy's, now it's the best... in all aspects. Superb fast food in the Mansfield area. 5 stars for this Wendy's! Definitely a great job done with this restaurant! read more

My wife ordered 2 taco salads from the Mansfield Wendy's. When she arrived home, there were no tortilla chips, no salsa, no dressing, and the "lettuce blend" was nothing but iceberg lettuce. We had to supply our own salad dressing and chips! I called the store twice to ask for the manager. Instead, the same woman hung up on me both times. There was so much background noise that she either did not hear me, was totally distracted, or did not care. On Nov. 28, I sent this complaint to Wendy's headquarters. If I receive a reply, I will update this review. As of now, as long as they are making a profit, Wendy's does not seem to care. read more

Funny story...well, not so much funny as it is long... I go in and order a plain baked potato. The guy (seemed to be the manager) asks what I want on it. I say that I want a plain baked potato, nothing on it. The guy asks me what I want on it. He gets a bit testy and lists off what I could have on it. I finally say, sure, the sour cream(which is the "plain" variety) He turns around and yells to someone behind him "Plain baked potato!" Dude, weren't you just getting ticked at me for calling it that? That scenario was a couple of years ago and I don't know if the same folks are working there. If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would, as it doesn't even deserve the 1 star. To begin with, the service we received was appalling. The employee taking our order wasn't friendly or inviting, creating an incredibly unwelcoming environment. The soda machine didn't produce any ice, the vast majority of drinks were out of stock, and they failed to restock their ketchup as both were completely empty. The bathrooms weren't clean, and same goes with the outdoor seating. Overall, my experience was unsatisfactory and I will not be returning. read more

This place is ridiculous. The last 3 times (months apart) they have been "out of chili". How are you out of chili at 3pm on a Sunday? So i got a bacon and cheese baked potato instead. It was simply a baked potato cut in half with 2 slices of bacon shoved inside and bathed in TONS of cheese and was the worst baked potato i've ever had from Wendy's.
