First time coming here and I find these in my food. Very disappointing. I ordered the biggie bag with the Chicken BLT. Nuggets and Fries were fine ... but when i unwrapped the sandwich i noticed the green bug on the cheese. Originally, I was driving back about the bugs on the burger, but when i went to check the Cinnabon i noticed the roach. Not sure how you serve the glaze without noticing the huge roach but... yeah. When i went back i was offered a swap for the two items but I asked for a full refund. The manager was helpful, gave me the refund and apologized for the inconvenience. Will never be back to this location but I appreciate the professionalism on behalf of the manager. read more

I swear I posted a review here before. Now I know why avoiding to come back to this Wendy's on Fondren and SW Freeway. It used to be my go-to place after partying. They gone through some remodeling and dining room was a health hazard a year after. I stopped by for a drink one day and documented my experience. I remember quite well because of my videos. Didn't go viral, thank goodness for that. But it received over 2000 views in few hours. Today. After gotten disgusted with Domino's Pizza, I still want my Fourth of July celebration with American's favorite. I decided to have some hamburgers. Why not Jack in the Box next door? Because I prefer the square beef patty. I pulled up to parking lot and walked in to the restaurant. There was one customer eating by the TV. I proceeded to the counter. "Hello?" Then, I looked at the menu. Five minutes later, "hello?" Does anyone respond? No. I only saw 2 people at drive-thru window and kitchen. Ok they must be shorthanded. I decided to drive thru like everyone else. I ordered double stack with and without bacon, chicken sandwich and a 99 cents cookie. Used to be good but definitely not coming here anymore. I like to get chili cheese fries every time I go to a Wendy's so I'm so stranger to it. The quality of the food just isn't what it used to be & my orders have been wrong each time I've gone lately. I ordered chili cheese fries last time I went, got baconator fries instead. This time I went again, ordered the same thing & what you see in the picture is what I got. No chili, lots of cheese & a handful of beans. I went to get a meal, they forgot my barbecue and my fries. The worker gave me hella attitude to make me drive around again just for my barbecue & fry terrible terrible employees and the cherry on top, they gave me a small fries, even though I I paid the up charge for large fries the second time so I had to drive three times back because they just couldn't get my order correct, it was a simple order and the drive-through was empty, went to Wendy's beside it, but they're so happy about my order. This is THE ABSOLUTE WORST Wendy's I've ever been to! I ordered the five dollar bag in which the nuggets were cold and rubbery, the fries were cold and the burger was cold. They slapped one big piece of lettuce on the bigger and the back on didn't taste cooked. The lemonade was the only thing tasty! The drive through person was DRY AS HELL! He did not engage in greeting me, did not say thank you he was not friendly at all and was JUST DRY through the delivery of my visit which I deem as poor customer service at its finest! What is the point of working in fast food if you don't want to do your damn job! I couldn't even take my food back because I drove on my lunch break to pick up a quick meal! Another day another wend'ys down the hatch!!!!! I took my midterm today and after the quit hard test I was in the mood for something greasy or fast and quick to get. as my driver drove through the drive through I could already start to smell the magnificent food I got the 10 count with fries or the number 3 and it was AMAZBALLSS definitely one of my favorite quick meals. To me the only good things at Wendy's are their Frosty's and their chicken nuggets. The rest of the menu is just ok and doesn't compare to the other fast food chains in Houston. This location has been by my house for as long as I can remember and always had fast service, which I like. The only thing I don't like about this location is that the drive thru people are never clear in their enunciation of words and always seem rushed even if you're the only person in the line. read more

I use to attend school right down the road from this Wendy's. Knowing the area and a few visits in the past had turned me off from purchasing from this location. However, by opinion changed a few weeks ago when I was in a bind to get to my destination and needed a quick meal (Thanks Quiznos for not knowing how to apply your own coupon to an order)! I didn't help that this particular day I did not know what I wanted to eat. When I settled on a baked potato from Wendy's, I crossed my fingers and toes that my stomach didn't resent me the next day. Since it was late and I found out the kids meals were $1.99 after 4pm, I decided to get one and save a little money. To my surprise, the nuggets were fresh, the fries were hot (without me asking to nix the salt to force them to drop fresh fries), and the crew member was very courteous! Just overall great service! Wendy's is one of the few fast-food restaurants that I sit down to eat at, rarely using their drive-thru, believing it's a leftover habit from years past when they offered a salad buffet. But with that idea now extinct there has to be another reason why the dining room at this location is always full; likewise, their drive-thru is not as busy compared to the other restaurants in the neighborhood. So I ask myself, why is this, (As if there aren't more pondering questions to answer) only to conclude that the food is remarkably agreeable, the prices affordable, and although the buffet is long gone its successors, the Garden Sensation Salads are delicious. This last visit I'm excited to try their new Asiago Ranch Chicken Club, it looks delicious, and hopefully the flavor is up to par. Being a Chicken-Sandwich connoisseur, (see Yelp profile - Last Meal on Earth) it is tremendously significant that the chicken patty be juicy, if it is not, none of the condiments will salvage the sandwich, essentially tasting like a dry piece of rubber on a bun. Just sayin'. Surprisingly the restaurant offers three versions of the sandwich - Home-style, Spicy, Grilled, but I like spicy just in case the meal lacks. I take my first bite, WOW, the flavor explodes, it is perfectly delicious! The incredible cheese flavor is beautifully balanced with fresh tomatoes and lettuce. The bacon is crispy providing crunch, and the ranch sauce bastes the spicy patty. Truly genius - Asiago cheese, smoked bacon, and ranch sauce boldly accenting juicy-spicy chicken, take a bow. Incredibly my only complaint is the bun, kind of boring, compared to the fusion of flavor it holds. Asking them to remake baked potato since it's going to be cold & mushy from microwave by the time I do get to eat. We will see. Went back, INSIDE, got replacement burger & new potato. This place is ridiculous. I got there around 7:15pm and I ordered two 2 for $5, two 4 for $4, baconator (just the sandwhich), and 2 value fries. First I have to pull up and wait (no biggie) and then they come out with my food. Half my order is missing. The manager said forgive me we are short staff (ok I understand) and then she says "ok what are you missing" so I show her my bags and proceed to tell her. She goes to get my missing items, comes back and I'm still missing food. I have currently been sitting here and as of 45 mins later I am still waiting on my food. This should not ever happen. Order was wrong- I ordered single burger with no cheese and got a double with cheese and was charged the higher price. But the worst part- I was standing at the counter waiting for my food. A lady came in and said she had ordered nuggets in the drive-thru and wanted to add fries. The cashier rang it up, she paid. Took a little while to give her the fries. She said she still needed her nuggets from the first order. So the lady working the drive-thru got her nuggets and said she threw in another order of fries because the lady had to wait so long.
