As soon as walking into the store, I saw a promo for free medium fries with a mobile app order, but the app kept on saying there was an error. When I showed my app to the cashier, Larry, (who appeared to be a store director), he was dismissive and said there was nothing he could do, then walked away. Another employee took my order, but it was incorrect since I ordered grilled chicken nuggets and received fried ones. The restaurant was extremely crowded around 4:30 pm (probably over 30 high schoolers), I didn't see any other employees, so it was easier to just eat it and leave. Of the last three trips to this location my order has been incorrect or uneatable two of of three trips. I submitted a complaint thru the app and received an 'I'm sorry' but nothing else. I find this location to often be unfriendly compared to any other location. Additionally they have started limiting the sauces if you ask for 3 sauces they will tell you that is too many. I don't get ketchup with Fries so not sure why there get bothered by replacing that. Chikfila has always been known to give as many sauces... they are starting to become like McDonald's. Great food and consistent service. You can't beat it. I love the way Chic Fil A specializes in that. I ordered a a Spicy Grilled Chicken Wrap (with Chili Lime Vingerette Dressing) and a Small Fry. I just cant resist their fries. I dont know what they put on them but geeeeez I cannot resist... lol All in all, this particular location was clean and so was the restrooms. The drive thru line was ridiculously long, so I decided to get out, go in, and order. Not sure if it was quicker, but it sure felt like it. Chick-fil-A strives for uniformity. Uniformity is why Chick-fil-A is so popular among people. People go to Chick-fil-A because they like the experience they receive from one location and expect to receive from another location with no differences. This location seems to lack uniformity with the quality of food and customer service. The food quality lacks higher grades compared to others. Customer service I assume has different training at this location. "My pleasure" out of the handful of times I have been has not been used once. During COVID 19 I will praise the streamlined process. Wow! If this location is consistent with anything, it is consistent with getting it wrong. So many times our orders have been wrong and asking them to correct their mistakes is utterly ridiculous. No, I don't want to drive back up there and pick up the fries you forgot to put in my order, after driving all the way home. Employees are the nicest folks you'll meet, Seriously - this goes for any chick-fil-A. They always have an over abundance of employees working which is fabulous. Calorie counters are labeled on the menu so just read. The place gets PACKED during lunch, weekends and dinner. Kids everywhere because they have a play area and let's not even talk about the drive thru line!!! Fortunately as I mentioned they are always over staffed and employees are outside taking orders so the drive thru moves quickly. They are on point with service! I wasn't going to post anything because it seems petty, but it's becoming to be enough of a reason for me not to come back to this particular store (now 5 times in the last couple of months) My issue with the store is that they never give you the number of condiments (in this case Chick-fil-A sauce) that you ask for and I'm not talking about an exorbitant amount. I usually pre-order through my app. For each item you order even if it's one meal you get a choice of two condiments per item so, for example, if I get a chicken sandwich meal I get two with my sandwich and two with my fries. So I always get two Chick-fil-A sauces with each item. So for a meal that is four Chick-fil-A sauces. Well, this store consistently will give me half that amount. I didn't notice it in the beginning but now that I do I count before I leave the drive up window. So today I noticed they gave me two instead of four. I asked for the extra 2 (not 10, not 15 not 20) sauces and the lady refused saying they could only give me two per meal.. even on the receipt it says four Chick-fil-A sauces. So I told her very sternly that I would not be leaving her drive-through until I got my extra two sauces. She was very rude and reluctantly handed them to me. I spend a lot of money here almost twice a week to be nickel and dimed by this business.. it's just unacceptable. Stop being so stingy with the little things (like sauce ) because it will earn you crappy reviews. DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. Ordered $30 worth and food was delivered to wrong house. When I called I spoke to a manager named Richard and he said that it wasn't his problem and hung up on me. I called back and said I was heading to the restaurant to fix this mess and get my food. When I got there Richard made me wait 15-20 minutes outside before he came to see me. He had serious attitude right away and accused me of trying to steal saying they had photographic evidence that the food was delivered. I said "Well it wasn't my house show me the picture". He asked if I had a doormat in front of my door. I said of course I have a doormat. He then smirked at me like he was some detective thinking he "got me" just because I own a doormat? He wouldnt let me see the photo until I told him what my door mat looked like. I told him its a door mat with welcome written in many languages all over it. His smirk was gone and he finally showed me the picture which in the frame of the picture only had a bag of Chick-fil-A on a regular "WELCOME" door mat. No address was pictured just a bag of food on a random door mat I couldn't believe that he was trying to use a random picture of food on a doormat AS PROOF of delivery and then accuse me of STEALING. Realizing how wrong he was he said he was going to go make the order. I waited another 20 outside before he came back out to tell me he wasn't going to make the food saying he didn't technically have to and simple walked away. He must of spent the that 20 minutes in there trying to find any way to stop me from getting the food I paid for. Later I called and spoke to the regional director Charlotte and she had said that in the photos drivers use they need to have the address in the picture and promised that I would get my money back and whatever rewards were redeemed but instead I was charged for the meal I never got AGAIN! $60 and world of headache dealing with these people. I called back when I realized what happened and Charlotte told me I needed to come to the store and show her. So again, I had to go back to this location. Once I got there though she started asking me about my order saying they had photographic evidence that my order was delivered. I couldn't believe it, here I was a chik fila a again now because of the second charge to the food I never got but now I had to deal with this incompetence AGAIN. I told her I went through already with you and since they aren't the brightest I told them have y'all checked my past orders? Do y'all have pictures of those previous orders? Can you cross reference the doormats you see in the picture to see if the match up? She did exactly that and said she would refund me for the original charge BUT I needed to go print a physical copy of my bank statement and give it to them so I could get my money for the second charge identical charge. Every time I come to this location they mess something up. I've ordered nugget trays for 2 birthdays an both times they were late. Today I drove through with the kids and after checking the bags they forgot the salad dressings. I went back through the line and talked to the manager, listing off the last three occasions I was there and each time they forgot something. Chik fil A really irritates me.. they're the WORST chain ever! Their basic Chik-Fil-A sandwich is absolutely horrid! It tastes just so... PERFECT. (Esp when I slather lots of mayo on it). Even their simple chicken noodle soup is warm, creamy and delicious. And have you tried the spicy versions of their sandwiches?! Or the bite sized Chick-Fil-A nuggets?! My stomach is always screaming for more and that is not right. I don't know what they put in their recipes but I demand the FDA come and give them a thorough inspection!! They cannot go around causing insane sandwich addictions in the city of Houston like this! Don't worry I'll direct the investigators to the Chik-Fil-A sauce too. There are addictive substances in there for sure, I know it. I have hoarded a collection of them at home, just in case the always-friendly drive-thru guys forget to put one in my bag. Bleh. The biggest crime of all is their one of a kind waffle fries. How dare they create such a masterpiece. This review isn't about the food either or my dislike of them not being open on Sundays since this is pretty standard at all Chick-Fil-A's for some reason (Although I would think many employees would love to make money on Sundays and it's unfair to them). It's not even about the service since most times it's good. I'm giving this location 1 star because it's damn near impossible to get lunch there during the noon hours and when you do, it's next to impossible to get a seat that's not next to the playground where if you're a guy by yourself you not only have to put up with screaming kids you get dirty looks from the prissy Bellaire housewives for being in the children's section. Speaking of the Bellaire housewives - bravo ladies. Added to the misery of the overcrowding of the lunch (or even afternoon) hours, the place is infested by the High School kids from Bellaire who loiter and take up seats. I don't expect management to throw out children or to tell teenagers to get off their damn lawn, but I would expect them not to schedule birthday parties right in the middle of rush hour and they seem to do this quite often. At the same time, he took a meal with a black brother. He gave the black brother the meal without any requirements! GROSS! I come here multiple times a week but service has gone down. The women inside that clean are the sweetest but today will be my last time coming to this location. I bought an ice cream cone for my 3 year old and I noticed that while making the cone an employee by the name of Jalisa got ice cream on her hand and licked it off and proceeded to hand me the cone. I asked her to please remake it and sanitize her hands. With a huge attitude she made another come without sanitizing her hands. I asked again for someone to remake it and she proceeded to reach back into the cone box contaminating it while talking about me in Spanish saying "me da cólera" which means she angers me. She didn't know I'm fluent in Spanish and the manager tried telling me she wasn't talking about me until I busted out the Spanish. I've been coming here since I was in college and now I'm 31 with two kids. Don't come here. They lick their fingers while making your kids food and have zero remorse. Disgusting.
