Good luck getting your correct order. How are you going to have an entire staff that doesn't speak English?

Great place for breakfast sandwiches -- after the nightshift leaves. Those guys are some of the biggest assholes you will find at ANY drive-thru anywhere. They make the Soup Nazi on Seinfeld look positively "sweet," and they are all SO incompetent about their work, they never know the correct prices for anything, what is for sale much less what is on special, they can't speak English almost at all sometimes. They don't understand much of anything you say, either. It's extremely frustrating. Early this morning I got there before they changed shifts, and after asking me six times to repeat "Sausage Croissant Combo with a Small Coffee" -- SIX! -- and each time I was getting a little bit louder, so he could hear (maybe he's deaf,right, IDK?) ,and the asshole tells me to go somewhere else, because he won't sell anything "because I'm yelling at him!" I swear I wanted to strangle him at that point, but on the upside, I have had sinus congestion with hay fever for three days now -- completely congested -- and he pissed me off SO badly my sinuses cleared up immediately -- must have been the adrenaline hitting my bloodstream. I went to get a meal, they forgot my barbecue and my fries. The worker gave me hella attitude to make me drive around again just for my barbecue & fry terrible terrible employees and the cherry on top, they gave me a small fries, even though I I paid the up charge for large fries the second time so I had to drive three times back because they just couldn't get my order correct, it was a simple order and the drive-through was empty, went to Wendy's beside it, but they're so happy about my order. A BIT LONG, BUT A MUST READ!!!! I have been coming to this Jack in the Box for years. Their customer service has been more or less for a long time, I don't know if it's because the majority are just Spanish Speakers or they genuinely don't understand everything we order but for the most part it's been ok. Recently I got off work around 3:45pm and went straight to the restaurant before going home. I noticed a HUGE improvement starting at the drive thru. A clear English and friendly voice came on the speaker. He made me feel special and welcoming. Arriving at the window a young man greeted me and repeated my order to make sure it was all correct. The brief moment while paying I asked about his working at the restaurant and he said he's been there for only 2-3 weeks. He's always in a presentable state, very caring, and even asked how my day was. In all my years going to that Jack in the Box I have never experienced that before. EVERYONE if you want to be taken care of and treated with respect always ask for Felipe in the drive thru, I can guarantee he will take care of you. I can honestly say that if he stays at that restaurant he has a bright future ahead of him. I also found out he only works from 2-10pm I think, so if you want excellent treatment go while he is working there. And if you happen to dine in at those hours just ask for him by name and you'll see a positive vibe coming from him always. Jack in the Box, good job! read more

Just to be fair. Without this Jack in the Box here, people will go hungry. If there's another fast restaurant opens late at this corner of Fondren and Southwest Freeway, I won't be here as much. This is why all my photos were taken at night. Not interested to wait over 40 minutes at the drive-thru window. Otherwise, the building is brand new. Will give zero stars if possible, the location cancelled my order after DoorDash was there to do a pick up, tried calling the store numerous times and only once did they pick up that my order was given out to DoorDash and the guy hanged up the phone on me. Called DoorDash and they said the store cancelled my order when the driver was there and to call the store, after 10+ numerous calls they never picked up my phone call. I got charged and received nothing. Made a complaint on website and will be calling my bank for fraud. This is unacceptable. Also on the app, it shows my order as "completed". Everything was ok From drvway, they ask us to park at front to wait for our food. It was all fine, But Mike Williams came out to deliver our food without the soda. We asked him, nicely, we also ordered a soda, He make hands of i dont know and told us "I just got here, YOU BETTER come inside and get it!!" I was impressed for his attitude, but I didn't know who he was. I went inside and asked for a manager, SURPRISE!!!!!! He is d manager! He also told me "SEE ...I TOLD YOU TO GET INSIDE!!!" I stayed cool and asked for his name He got arrogant ask only game me his first name, i asked again and he again told me his first name only, i insisted and took a picture, finally he game me his full name. I've been coming to this location since forever. My Jack in the Box go to order is tacos, curly fries, or a sourdough Jack. Now Jack in the Box is the greasiest fast food there is - total textbook definition of fast food...but it's delicious. The tacos went up a $1ish for two instead of two for 99 cents (same difference...still dirt cheap). My experiences here have been all over the place. They have fast service at the drive thru but depending on who's serving you is crucial. Our favorite guy Federico was always bubbly and nice. Everyone else is just he average fast food worker. Today my dad repeated our order three times, it finally showed on the screen, and the lady still forgot our 8 tacos...and fast food workers think minimum wage should be higher? Yeah nope. We were also the only people there in line. How hard is it? Granted I should've checked before driving off but still...We live 5 minutes away so we turned around to get our tacos and the lady didn't question it. They were sitting on the counter, apparently she forgot to put them in the bag. At least they were still hot and good. read more

On 11/19/21 around 8:30pm i received two jumble jack through drive-thru. and stopped at parking lot trying to eat as i was hungry. The two jumble jack were wrapped in red wrapping paper, the wrapping paper was wrapped inside out, the paper's red paint side was in contact with food. i immediately walked into dining room, returning jumble jack for wrapped in wrong way. The female shift manager (no id badge), said nothing was wrong, if we made again, it will be wrapped same way. Gosh, she didn't even know what is wrong. i explained to her what's wrong. she said she can made new ones or give me money back. I opt to get new ones. As the food preparer, a black lady, was making new jumble jack, i saw she was using bare hand, not wearing gloves. I rejected the new jumble jack and got my refund and left for burger king. read more

I went a couple days ago with my boyfriend, it was pretty late so it was overnight staff. I asked for some iced coffee, I know how they make it, they have to add a couple pumps of syrup for sweetness. When I tell you it was super sweet. It was super sweet. I politely asked the guy at the drive thru (older Hispanic type of guy) to make it a bit less sweet, he said no. Lol! I simply asked for a little bit more coffee and no sweetener. If he wanted to be petty he could've poured some out and make it to the amount that i had drank it to which wasn't much. But he literally just refused. Is Jack in the Box attempting to grow up by targeting the HGTV crowd, maybe the coffee crowd, or even techies? Ditching their traditional two-dimensional logo in favor of a more contemporary design, they appear to target them all. This location has been completely renovated in the upscale design found at their new construction restaurants, which is nice because the South Fondren corridor is undergoing minor revitalization. Yet, the area is still depressed so the restaurant looks somewhat out of place next to a taqueria, Colombian style rotisserie, and an abandoned parking lot. Then again who comes to Jack in the Box for the architecture, really, they themselves blew up the clown years ago. What I do love about the restaurant is the variety as you can order a Teriyaki bowl with a side of jalapeno poppers, two tacos with a side of eggrolls or even a grilled chicken salad with a side of bacon cheddar potato wedges. Cleanest Jack in the Box I ever been to and the staff is extremely nice...

I eat at this location maybe 4 - 5 times per year. I have never had a bad experience. The food is always good and made promptly. Today, I accidentally dropped the bag with my order at the drive thru window. The food was fine but the manager insisted on remaking my meal. The replacement was ready within the next 30 - 45 seconds and her attitude impressed me enough to write this review. read more

Thank you Daniel at the Fondren JackntheBox location. My car got stuck just outside the restaurant and he was EXTREMELY helpful and got me out of the whole I was in. I was just passing through the area from apartment hunting and stopped here because the leasing office had just closed early for an hour. I was just running in to use the restroom really since the leasing office was closed and I got stuck in the water. I told him I didn't have anything to repay him he said it was ok and Daniel went to work by pulling up his car behind mine and using his jacket to tie up our trunks together to pull me out! His jacket ripped and his trunk suffered too. I later found out I was his third car pull out! Three toll cars went by but the money i borrowed from my parents for gas and daycare $60 was already gone. When I said I had nothing to pay ofcourse they left. It's just business I know but Daniel helped me for nothing. The residents across the street offered a rope which Daniel knotted to make thicker to hold our trunks together. Daniel got me out 90% of the way. Two other employees where going to try to help me me out the 10% but Someone with a truck just happened by and stopped and offered to connect the rope and pull the rest and I was out! The truck person pulled off too quick before I could give thanks.Big thanks to these helpful employees and especially my hero Daniel! Corner of 59 and Fondren service HORRIBLE! To the 8 foot tall cashier, please don't take your frustration out on me for opting to work in customer service. 1. She could not communicate properly as the intercom system was extremely low. When I reached the window, she had a horrible demeanor, did not acknowledge me, did not say anything after I received my order and said thank you. IGNORANCE at its finest, you are working RIGHT where you belong. If it were not for my brother wanting this greasy mess I would have NEVER patroned that place. Talk about insult to injury read more

After ordering I pulled to the window and waited at a closed window for about 10 - 15 mins. They did not acknowledge that I was at the window, they just moved about the inside slow with confused and mean looks on their faces. Who I guess was the cashier even made eye contact with me however never came to the window to greet me. I got get fed up and drove off and went to Whatabuger and got my food in 1/2 the time. And side note I even called the restaurant to complain and they never answered the phone. They need a lesson in customer service. read more
