Visited on: multiple dates from 2004 to 2009 This is a fairly standard Wendy's, though maybe a bit on the smaller side. I actually worked here as a cashier from July to September 2008, and I can tell you that this is Hayward, so it attracted its share of, shall we say, unsavory customers. If you're expecting to get your fast food, fast... THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! Literally EVERY SINGLE TIME I come here rather I'm ordering only fries or a meal, I'm literally waiting at least 15 minutes. I don't understand, they aren't even busy all the time. I've worked fast food before and my manager would have flipped the shit if we were taking as long as they do. Got their BBQ sandwiches in the drive thru today and my husband cut the roof of his mouth in what appeared to be a piece of wood? Drove all the way back to get a refund . I'm calling their corp office to tell this place shouldn't be open! Stay away! So I left the regional manager a voicemail and not even a call back to say they are addressing their issue-gross! So disappointed today. I visit the Wendy's on Misson several times a month. I realize I can be a difficult customer due to special ordering off the menu. Bottom line, the order was rung up correctly but what I received was incorrect. I handed back asking for what I ordered. A few minutes later I received what looked like the correct order and went home. I was SO disappointed that I still did not have what I ordered and in fact threw it away as it was inedible. Food was good but the service was horrendous. When I approached the cashier to order, the lady behind the counter outright glared at me. When I ordered, she made me repeat several times and when I spelled out my name after she asked for it, she huffed and rolled her eyes at me. A guy I assume was supposed to be her trainer didn't even pay attention and was talking to someone in the kitchen. In the end, she got my order wrong, over charged me, and didn't give me a cup for my combo until I asked for it, even acting as if I were the one at fault and gave me a nasty look and another huff. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but as an employee, she should not bring that kind of attitude towards a paying customer. I dont know how to begin this but ive always liked coming to Wendys. One of my favorite fast food chains ever. But today as i sit here inside eating i am disappointed with what happened. As im ordering the guy at the counter, i believe his name was Germayne, seemed like he was new. He did an order for a customer which i believe he overserved a frosty and the manager came up to him while he was taking my order and told him you put way too much never do that again. When the customer picked up their order they were surprised of the amount of frosty and the manager comes out and said i know right thats what i thought too. Its way too much. Now me coming from being a lead or supervisor role i learned that if my employee made i mistake to pull them off to the side away from customers and talk to them and let them know of the mistake and to make sure their mistakes are not made again or see if they need more training or see if they dont understand how to do something to help them. Im guessing that because of that when he was taking my order he forgot to charge me for an item. I mean i couldve well easily walked out and paid less but the guilt i wouldve felt for leaving and to think that the manager wouldve came back to chew him out for not charging me wouldve killed me. I let him know to add it and my order was now complete. Thank you for your service Germayne and good luck with the job. You will get it right and be good at it. Now the 2nd part was when i picked up my order, one of the employees was talking to the same manager letting her know of all the jobs and interviews and all his process of what he is applying for. Im sorry but if you are not happy i suggest you look for another job and keep things to yourself instead of exposing it to everyone to the point where all the customers know your business. So unprofessional in all ways and on top of that blasting his music on his cell phone while walking around. Only because i love Wendys do i come back here if not i wouldnt. Hands down the best Wendy's I have ever been to. The fries are always perfectly crispy!! The customer service is a lot better now compared to before. I think they went through new management and who ever is running it is doing a pretty good job! I like the food.. but i went through the drive the other day and askes for some bbq sauce for my chicken sandwich...the awkward teen was very polite and gave it to me and the OWNER all but flipped out on him, RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, THE CUSTOMER. I am completely over this location! This is my third and last time coming. Every time I have came they have messed up my order. After a long busy day, I went through the drive thru at this Wendy's. I only ordered a couple meals and some extra chicken. The person that took my order made a mistake on what I wanted but Joseph came through to save the day and gave me my order without hassle. The cashier forgot to charge my daughters chicken nuggets so Joseph added it to our order free of charge. He was incredibly friendly, super helpful, and had amazing customer service. Had a late night crave and decided to be unhealthy. This visit reminded me why I shouldn't do fast foods! When ordering the guy taking my order was very eager to finish my order and rushed me. So, when i got to the window it was the wrong drink and had I not been rushed this wouldn't occurred. Rude male employee should be careful of what he says in Spanish because you never know who can speak a language fluently. Last night two of my friends and I decided to eat at Wendy's as a late night bite to eat after class. The kind manager-owner (I assume) a sweet lady with glasses and black hair,, kindly told us that it was closing time and that they were cleaning the place up. As we were about to leave one of my friends asked if he could use the restroom but was told that the bathrooms were closed due to maintenance (which was understandable). One of the employees who was a young man sitting down playing on his phone said a rude remark in Spanish,"Did you poison the gringo?" (a derogatory term to describe a white person). I was appalled at what he said I decided not to say anything at that moment because I decided to walk away. It was a couple of months ago that I had one of those intense cravings for fast food. Normally I eat jack in the box, but that's while intoxicated. This was a sober night, so I drover over to wendy's. My coworker had been raving about their fish sandwich, and since I generally like these wherever I eat at, I decided to get one at wendys. I also ordered their featured spicy chicken nuggets and fries as well as an order of chili. I pigged the heck out. Yes, I felt like a fat girl the next day, but I definitely enjoyed every damned bite of my food. Wendy's fish sandwich makes McDonald's Filet o Fish taste like rubbish. I definitely suggest the fish sandwich if you're into fish sandwiches. On a different occasion, I was hungry at night, but I told myself I wouldn't ordered anything deep fried, so I ordered a side salad. Seriously! It was so good. i stopped at this wendy's on my way home last night (i live a few cities away) - my first and definitely last time visiting this location. the drive thru line was HELLA long (thanks, COVID-19) which honestly seems to be the standard at most wendy's locations in this area so i'm not fussing about that. i spent a lot of time correcting a simple order at the speaker box, which was frustrating but i'm not fussing about that, either. i finally got my food and all of the hot items were inedible - hard and cold, like they'd been sitting around for a while. the "unsweetened" tea i ordered was definitely sweetened or flavored with something. i tried to let them know - the young lady working the window didn't understand enough english to comprehend my request. not picking on her but management probably shouldn't have her working the most client-facing role in the restaurant. the manager came over to the window and actually got visibly angry at me because i suggested that there may be something wrong with their freestyle machine that dispenses the tea if my unsweetened tea tasted peach flavored. i asked for them to remake my food (again, because it was cold and hard) they remade half and sent me on my way. one half of my order was still cold and had not been remade and the other half was the wrong item. i was dumb enough to leave without rechecking the order but quickly came back and decided to just cut my losses, get a refund and go home. again, more attitude from the manager. i get that everyone's stressed right now, but that's no excuse to talk down to anyone. one star for the worker who paused his lunch break to help me get my money back. read more

Service was fine and the restaurant was clean. Not a fan of the Ciabatta bacon cheeseburger primarily because I'm not a fan of mixed greens.
