Has a nice jalapeño chicken salad today for lunch. I was surprised the salad was pretty tasty! Also came with a jalapeño ranch dressing which was the perfect combination to cool off the hot jalapeño in the salad. I got the full portion and it kept me full for hours. The service was slow. I walked in and was the only person in line. It took 5 minutes for someone to take my order. As I was waiting to order, the phone rang. A lady came from the back and answered the phone without thinking about helping me. Then it took her about another 1 minute after she got off the phone to take my order. Whoever was in charge of helping customers at the cashier should be fired. It was an older Latina. I had a terrible experience. They do not care about the customer at all. She treated me like crap and made me furious. I read a few other reviews, and there are similar complaints. I have never been treated this rudely at a restaurant, and it made sense after looking at the reviews here. I made an account to express my hate because it bothered me for hours. If you go here, you will have a 50/50 chance of having a pleasant experience (judging by this place being rated 2.5 stars). If you love Wendy's, make a trip to a less-convenient one to receive better service. I usually drive farther for various things because certain locations have better service. In general, this will make anyone's quality of life better. It was my mistake to come to this location due to convenience. I already see higher-rated Wendy's at further locations. I may make the drive, so I have a higher likelihood of improving my day. This experience destroyed my day. Do not go here unless you like gambling. So funny story, my classmate's family owns this franchise.. He did his persuasive speech on why Wendy's should be your fast food choice.. I've always loved Wendy's jr bacon cheeseburger and frosty already, but it's been days since the last time I actually ate at Wendy's.. So when I got inside.. nobody was in the cashier when I already know what to order (I waited about 1 to 2 minutes) til somebody finally noticed me .. That's why I'm giving this place a 4.. It's my first time trying out the ciabatta bacon cheeseburger and O.M.G it is so good... I mean first bite and I was in love!!! Bread was on point, not your regular lettuce and tomatoes (mixed green with roasted tomatoes) soooo yummy!!! The bacon you can actually see them lol and big portion of it.. First and foremost, I absolutely hate this Wendy's and only come here because I hate McDonalds more and they're the only places open when I get off of work. They are always extremely slow and most of the time my order is wrong, but lately they've been better. I don't know if there has been a change in management or what, but my orders are coming out right and in a timely fashion. Most importantly, a young lady by the name of Selena gave the most outstanding customer service to my sister and I. The cashier/person who took my order yesterday afternoon (7/30) had a nasty attitude and apparently cannot properly take an order. After waiting over 20 min in the drive through with only four people in front of me, I place my order. I get to the window and now she wants to rush me through my order when the line was slow in front of me. I get to the pickup window and they don't have the main part of the order available, so I ask for a substitution. She tells me I have to pay extra which is ridiculous since she didn't tell me a part of my order wasn't available when I ordered the item. And she didn't take my order correctly and omitted an item. The younger cashier is nasty and condescending and shouldn't be in customer service. The older manager just took up for the worker and I know didn't address her nasty attitude. Tried to contact the management company but was unsuccessful. I suspect this is why the manager was willing to give the number so readily. I don't normally bother with reviews of fast food joints, but this one continually screws up the drive-thru orders. Twice in a row now, and after finding out way too late to go back. My family likes their burgers plain. We don't ask for removal of one ingredient, extra another, it's just plain. That's it. Meat, cheese, bun. It doesn't seem that hard. This time around, I actually asked when I got to the window (since they screwed up the last time I was there) if the two burgers I ordered were plain. The server thought one was, so I handed both bags back - heard the staff say "both should be plain" - they handed one bag back (which my son checked - all good), and then the second one they checked and said was already good. Fantastic, right? Um, no. Drove 8 miles home to get the other order to my other son - the works on that thing. My god. And no - sorry, yes we're picky - scraping it off does not do the trick. Too late, too far to go back for one burger. It would've cost more in gas to go back. It's not the money (although it adds up), I am just floored that it's so hard to get that right. And twice in one visit. Yeah, the folks were nice enough. They just weren't competent enough, sorry to say. I complained to Wendy's corporate because I've had enough money wasted on this. I'm terms of food quality, I think Wendy's beats McDonald's or Jack. The baconator is the bf's meal of choice while i am a huge fan of the chicken pub. I can't think of any other place to get chili or baked potatoes. And Frosties are the business. Unfortunately the drive thru can get quite long, a result of the overflow from the crowded El Pollo across the street. And they some how seem to forget things every time. Sauce or fries or a drink. We're usually asking for something before we leave. And my pet peeve is my burger problems. Granted it's difficult when you want honey mustard and Munster cheese but no cheese sauce but some how that leads to no cheese at all or no sauce at all...every time. I made it a point to let the staff know how much I appreciate their hard work and their excellent customer service tonight. I continue to be so impressed with the food offerings and the quality of foods that Wendy's has been rolling out with. I have to remind myself that the Jalapeño Fresco Chicken Sandwich is from a corporate fast food joint. There was a long line and it was raining tonight and everyone (including the customers) were exhausted. The staff was friendly, helpful and got everyone's food out in a reasonable amount of time. I made it a point to let them know I appreciate their hard work because I'm sure rarely do people who work in food service ever get acknowledged verbally from an unprompted customer. Being an Army Cook (92G Culinary Specialist) I totally understand the amount of work to get food out quickly while maintaining a level of quality and adhering to sanitation and food safety standards and keeping customers happy and these guys worked the line and handled their business efficiently. So done with this place!!!! I've been giving this place a chance due to it being down the street from my house. My order is always incorrect.
