Nothing better than a brand new Wendy's. The closest Wendy's to my house is at least 25 minutes away, so the people of Hanover must be jumping for joy they don't have to bother either McDonald's or Burger King anymore (yeah, McDonald's and Burger King are okay, but Wendy's is the real queen of fast food). Plus, being that this place is brand new, it's the new Wendy's style and immaculate inside. Some of the other Wendy's restaurants around have gotten a mini-makeover, but there aren't any that I can think of that have been built from scratch lately into something that is just overall better for consumers. Plus, the closest Wendy's location I can think of to here is the one on Rt 123 in Abington, and not only was that one only given a partial renovation, the employees are rude and extremely unprofessional there. Here it is the exact opposite. The guys working at the drive thru on June 27 were all super friendly, helpful, and fast. There was no one in front of me, and they had my order ready in the time from leaving the order station to the pick up window. That is just insanely fast, and knowing from many, many past experiences to other fast food restaurants (even including other Wendy's), there is nearly nothing worse than just sitting in a drive thru for sometimes up to fifteen minutes. Superb service, even better food. No, it's not the Capital Grille (or something of that matter), but it beats McDonald's and BK by miles! The people of Hanover are lucky ducks for getting this Wendy's! I would definitely come back if I was in the area again and would suggest this fast food restaurant as the newest, cleanest and just overall best in the area. 5 stars. read more

I am sitting in the drive through for the last twenty minutes and ONE car has been served. Got to the window 33 minutes after placing my order and they did not recognize the order I had placed. 38 minutes to get FAST food when I was third in line at a drive through with the dining room closed. read more

True it was after midnight, but they close at 1am. Nuggets were cold and the rolls on my JBCs were stale. Like they were left out of the package for 24 hours. Hard and dry roll. Not ok. Came on a Saturday for a late lunch. Ordered a Dave's Double, after waiting a good ten minutes , sat down at a table and the bun was stone cold. Went to let the employees know and was asked if I still wanted it. Yes, but not in a cold bun. The older woman in the back gave a dirty look, remade my sandwich and stared me down as she handed it to me. The fountain drinks are never working, bunch of kids yelling in the back while cooking the food. Just a horrible experience. Wanted a quick bite but was not impressed. Fries are never hot. Ever. Never ever. And for some reason, I get flak when ensuring the Coke Zero is Coke Zero and not Diet Coke (which they give me more often than not), because "what's the difference? They all taste the same." I abjectly indulge in the fast food, and so I'm not giving this location the deuce because most drive-thru grub is *ahem* less than stellar. If you care about being protected from COVID-19 then don't go here. We drove through the drive-through and ordered and then I realized that only the cashier was wearing gloves. None of the kitchen staff was wearing gloves or masks and they were touching everything after I saw one of them touching their face. Definitely not happy and I will not be going back. I can't believe how long the wait was with only one person in front of me. They seemed to have hired people with disabilities which is great but I'm not sure taking the orders and filling the orders is the right spot. I'd love to see someone cleaning tables, the ketchup area, restocking supplies, checking on patrons and their food orders etc. My Cod sandwich was the absolute worst I've ever had and I've recently had it at 2 other Wendys within the last week. If you come inside to dine in make sure you bring your winter coat! At these arctic temperatures also be prepared to inhale your food as soon as you get it, otherwise it will be lukewarm by the time you eat your third fry. I can't believe the bad reviews!! I have been here 3 times in the last few months and it was the best fast food I have ever got! The people working there were smiling and friendly. I went through the drive thru for a quick chicken sandwich while I was at work. The sandwich was fine, except that it looked like it was thrown together and was incredibly sloppy. This didn't effect the taste, it was just messy and irritated me because I was only given one napkin. The service was quick and friendly but the quality left me feeling frustrated. read more

Solely based on service, we ordered through drive they and the person on the headset was very rude and yelled loud and spoke as though they alerted angry at us when I couldn't hear the first time when asked a question I had never been asked before ( and I was polite by saying sorry I don't understand that can you repeat it please.) I then went on to order and then did not say the total or tell us to drive up but just stopped talking altogether. I will come back to Wendy's but especially during a time like this people should have patience and should be more positive. A few friends and I are at Wendy's recently and were completely disrespected and talked down to. We were treated as if we were inferior to the cashier which made us feel extremely uncomfortable and blatantly stupid because we didn't know the exact menu while ordering. Our receipts were crumpled before even asking if we would like a copy. The second we walked to the cash register we were rushed to order, ignored when we didn't know what a Wendy's burger was called, and spoken to as if we were being reprimanded as children. Me and my friends come here all the time, this is third time the employee has been moody and rude (we have heard of other stories from friends too). For example they have told us to take our business elsewhere (when we had some ordering confusion), practically throwing our sauces in the bag (one fell to the ground in the drive through) after we told the employee he forgot them, and they have taken the spoon out of our bag on purpose. This Wendy's is right around the corner from work only having a half an hour it's very convenient. Today was not such a good day they forgot half my order and I didn't realize it until I got back to work. Yes that is partially my fault. I should've checked my order. I agree with that but the issue is I've called the store three times to let them know what is going on. all three times nobody picked up. Also I never received a receipt to prove that I bought these items. So now I'm just out the money because I do not have time to go back to the Wendy's and wait in line for another 10 minutes to get my order corrected. On top of everything else the boy at the window was very rude, threw my change into my hand and I almost dropped it.
