First review ever on Yelp but have used this site forever. Waited 32 minutes for a burger that was cold and burnt. It had to have been sitting there for 20 minutes. I only pre tipped $1 versus the default of 15% so I wonder if the 2 ladies who looked fresh out of the 1619 project were seeking retribution. Shake Shack is always a hit for a quick and easy bite. This location is always packed and filled with family and kids. The classic shake shack burger is delicious and I regret not just getting that. I tried their new truffle menu items but I would never order it again. It was underwhelming and not worth the extra dollars or calories. The actual piece of burger meat looked like a school lunch - dry flat and soggy. Definitely not something you'd ever want to eat. I can't remember that last time I was this excited... Patriots winning their first Super Bowl? My first kiss? Nintendo Wii release?? Shake Shack is my favorite fast casual burger spot and I've never lived this close to one before. This location is clean and has 30 to 40 seats I believe. The Shack Burgers are always on point, fries perfectly seasoned. Nothing much to add here. I hadn't been to Shake Shack where you primarily order from a kiosk, so that was cool and speeds up the process, however, I prefer to talk to real human being. Went on opening day to support the local Shake Shack. I ordered the Hot One with a side of bacon cheese fries. The "Hot One" sauce that was generously spread over my burger was spicy and delish. I like my fries crispy so I would probably request them to be well done if I ordered them again. A special shout out to the employees who all remained really friendly and efficient even with the place packed. They got the order spot on correct and there were a total of 4 of us who ordered. I'm giving the food a 3 (all 4 of us voted on that) but added an extra star because of the employees and no I don't know any of them lol. read more

They said they didn't have the sauce to make a spicy burger and they said they ran out of shakes. How do you run out of shakes when the name of your business is Shake Shack? I ended up getting the "Smoke Shack" burger. It was burnt and tasteless. The restaurant was extremely dirty. The trash can was overflowing. Trash was all over the floor. Not worth the money, and is extra disappointing when you order fries, and get home, and their not in the bag. Won't be back.

Food was pretty decent. My issue was that both trash barrels inside were overflowing with nowhere to put your empty tray and empty tables were not wiped down despite it not being busy. All the while 4 people working there were just standing around chatting. I mentioned this to one employee and they looked at me like I had 10 heads. Our first visit to this new Shake Shack was a disappointment. First, they say they open at 11:.00 but they did not. About a dozen people, including us, were standing out in the cold waiting for them to open. Then when we got inside, we had to wait for 1 person to take gift card orders and then take food orders. When we finally got to place our order the cashier had such a face on we felt like leaving. No smile, no greeting, just what do you want?? The food came out fairly quickly but the chicken shack and the shack burger were sloppy and the lettuce was mushy and slimy. The fries were just ok, like frozen crinkle fries. My wife and I went here a few weeks back. You had to order from 2 kiosks, they weren't accepting cash and the service and tone of the management and staff was overall rude. I got a burger that was raw and I would not recommend going back to this place. If I had to make prediction it would be that by 2024 there will be something else there. read more

I'm pretty sure the employees hate their customers. I'm originally from the west coast so in n out burger is my go to. No matter how busy the employees are always happy and the food is always amazing. I have been to this location a few times and have never had the same meal twice even though I order the same burger. Sometimes is has sauce sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it's burnt sometimes it's good. Today I ordered my usual avocado bacon burger. When I got the burger I noticed no avocado so I brought it back and they informed they that "they don't have any" okay no problem but I was charged for it and no one bothered to tell me they were out. By the way I was the first customer of the day. All of the employees look miserable and they look bothered by the fact customers are coming in. I understand it's not the most glamorous job but again I'm comparing it to in n out where there is a line out the door all day and the employees are still smiling and happy to see you. We moved from Miami to Hingham, Ma and are very familiar with the Shake Shack stores. Our first visit was Saturday Oct 30. We stood on a line that was out the door. Total chaos going on inside, with NO MANAGEMENT in site. With only one cashier, who kept it a secret that they had No custard to make shakes at the Shake Shack. We once again tried today Nov 2 at Noon to purchase lunch. Once again chaos, once again one cashier who was not trained . I finally get to the register, and she said "we have no hamburgers, and once again no custard. I said to her, who don't you let everyone on this line that is outside, know there is very little food at this restaurant. She said it is not her job. I then announced to everyone, this Shake Shack has no burgers or shakes. How about handing out rain checks, how about management from Corporate being there to help this totally untrained staff.
