Do not come here gross, rude and unprofessional Services here are horrendous. Staff is RUDE and IMO it's a result of being understaffed and overworked for a busy location and it shows all over the restaurant. It's wicked dirty, online orders are always backed up some nights backed up an hour or longer with a mob of people frustrated from staff to customer. Today was the 2-3rd time it's happened to be backed up for an order pick up of mines ( I accidentally hit Hingham over Hanover in a rush) so I was forced to go there I placed the order 35 mins earlier than pick up and arrived 25 mins late past my pick up window and they were still working on orders 40 mins earlier than my pick up time... Asking the register worker how to go about canceling the order he points annoyed to the 1800 number when I responded the last time I tried it I got no real resolve he responded saying "idk what to fu*king tell you" turns out Mr Neal or dale I could not make out his name claimed to be the manager in that night. This location really has gone downhill. The staff barely speaks to you and when they do, it's either in a monotone or so quiet you can barely hear them. Not a single person gave off a friendly or welcoming demeanor. When I got to the register I explicitly told the cashier I was using my rewards from the app to get a free guac, which she acknowledged by mumbling something under her breath, but when I went to pay I asked if my reward was applied - to which she said no and just stared at me. I said I scanned the app and the reward was applied but she again just stared at me and asked if I wanted the manager. The manager was apologetic but made no effort to correct the situation - just said that I still had the reward I could use next time. Another thing I couldn't help but notice was how filthy the tables, countertops and floor were. Every single surface area had food scattered all over. I'd understand if this was during peak hours but this was around 8:45pm, well after the dinner rush. This was the quintessential experience that perfectly illustrates the downfall of Chipotle over the last few years. read more

This entire restaurant is a Salmonella outbreak waiting to happen. In fact, my daughter threw up after eating here. I'm just now making that connection. Every surface was a complete mess. Every table in the dining room looked to have been neglected for hours. The floors were a mess. The soda station nozzles did not appear to have been cleaned. The cutlery station was a mess with food everywhere. Even if the customers are this messy, someone needs to clean and sanitize frequently. The prep area was a mess. It needed to be broken and thoroughly cleaned, particularly between the sneeze guard and the rest of the station. How do they not have mice with food stuck in all those places? The service bar was a nightmare with food all over the stations and new orders being dragged though it. It appeared that the goal was to see how a big of mess they could make. One employee over filled three taco with rice. Another scooped out the excess by hand and threw it back in to rice bin to be served again. That should have been put in the trash. To be fair, one employee was checking on holding temperatures, but given that she used the probe several times in the same container it is likely that she was untrained in its use or was hoping for a suitable result to record. I shudder to think what the walk in might look like. If this location continues to be allowed to operate like this, I have serious concerns about eating anywhere that is controlled by the Board of Heath in Hingham. read more

I hate to leave a bad review as Chipotle is always a go-to and safe option for me while I am traveling. Unfortunately, this might be one of the worst chipotles I have even been to. The portions were less than satisfactory and the chips were stale as anything, tasted like they were from days ago. On top of that, the employees were not friendly and were speaking among themselves, while also just staring, as we were ordering? Absolutely disgusting place to eat. In my opinion, the health inspector needs to get in there immediately. I work in the area, so I visit this location pretty often out of necessity due to there being limited options to grab during a work break. Consistently, this location is filthy. The tables, item stations (forks, napkins, etc.) are not stocked and are filthy. The food line is caked in old food and standards are clearly not being upheld. The staff is unfriendly and clearly does not have good management to keep them performing well. I understand that they probably aren't paid well or treated that great, but that's no excuse for treating customers poorly. The staff barely speaks to you, and just stares at you while they wait for you to point out what you want. They throw together your order like it's WWE, and if you even get half a normal portion, you're lucky if they don't charge you for "double everything". If you want a place that is what Chipotle used to be like, go to Santa Fe Burrito. They aren't perfect, but they care about giving you good food, and it's clean. read more

Let me start by saying Chipotle is one of my favorite go to places when I want a basic burrito and I don't have much time to eat. So I have been to several locations. Two things stuck out with this one. First, I asked for a burrito and after the employee warmed the tortilla, he placed it on the counter. He then removed an empty container from one of the bins, placed the bin on my tortilla and finished switching out the container. He then proceed to make my burrito with the same tortilla which had water and remnants of old food on it. I pointed it out and asked for a fresh tortilla which he gave me. Second, the overall cleanliness was probably the worst I have seen. The counter next to the register looked as if some spilled a burrito bowl on the counter and hadn't been picked up yet. I even made a comment about it and the employee working the register acknowledged it but did nothing about it. I ate and checked afterward and the counter looked the same. Hope management catches on because these can be very problematic if these kind of issues continue. read more

Pretty bad even for a Chipotle. They made my burrito perfectly fine, but there were numerous mistakes made with other orders in my party. While eating there I noticed at least two people picking up online orders complain about their order being wrong or missing something. It looked like the counter hadn't been whipped down in a week. The line was going out the door the whole time I was there so they were busy, but you shouldn't be too busy to not clean up a mess that big! Every time I'm in this chipotle location, it's the slowest time ever. You'd think it was a New York City location with the most foot traffic in the country, but no, it's a sleepy suburb of Boston. It's legitimately always a 15-25 minute ordeal jsut to get dinner. The workers are slow, lack energy or urgency, and generally look like they hate their lives. I've been a customer of chipotle for YEARS but these types of experiences make me want to choose alternatives like the cava next door. Management needs to get workers who have some pep in their step or hire more people. This place was awful. First, the employees do not clean up and the trash is always overflowing and you can't fit anything in. The staff were unable to understand our questions and order. They messed up our meal and gave us little bags of chips that come with it when I clearly ordered a separate bag. I asked for 2 quesadillas and we had to say "separate". They had us pay for a fountain drink then said the machine wasn't working then gave us a free one. ??? But the soda machine was working and tasted good. I've been before and the rice tastes cold and hard but the service was better. If you like Mexican food and you live in Massachusetts I suggest going to Fiesta or El Mariachi to eat. Even my son was disgusted that it was $23.70 for a bowl with double meat. when he expressed his concern regarding the price, the manager immediately jumped in to say that I need to contact corporate about the prices and as my son and I sat to eat our extremely overpriced food we noticed the mgr and cashier making comments and pointing in our direction thinking we didn't notice. This is a story about redemption. It's also a story of something strange going on at this site. A few years ago, I wrote a review about this place, and I gave it a solid 4 stars out of 5. But a couple of months ago after this location on multiple recent occasions had screwed up my order wrong (always leaving out parts of my takeout order and never giving me something extra) as well as repeatedly giving almost no meat for burritos my friends and I ordered, I had enough and wrote a review giving this location 1 star. The review was posted and then disappeared. Just to prove that I wasn't some anonymous troll, I also gave the order number for the most recent order they screwed up. Anyone reading recent reviews of this place would realize that a lot of other Yelpers were also savaging this place. Then a couple of weeks ago, I tried this place again. Why? Because I was curious if anything had changed. And shockingly this place has done a complete turnaround. No joke, they've gone from being one of the absolute worst Chipotles I've ever eaten at to becoming the way Chipotle used to be about a decade ago when the company was flying high and getting rave reviews. Whoever is the manager of this location, as well as all the other employees, should get a major bonus because the change has been truly epic. So many restaurants have been great and then faded into mediocrity, unable to regain their former glory. But this Chipotle location has really risen to the challenge, taken the criticism leveled at it, and used it to work harder to put out a better product. It's too bad that my 1-star review disappeared, because seeing how awful the place had become would have provided a really stark contrast to how excellent they are now. I've always loved chipotle tho, I have also ordered catering from this location. I was so happy with the catering I ordered it over 5 times and when I reach out for help with a problem they fix it kindly. No one greeted me so I patiently waited until finally someone asked for my name. I told them I needed to order. They said they only did mobile orders, yet there were no signs saying this. I realize I can't necessarily expect my food to be ready on the dot, but when I walk in and there are over a dozen people standing around looking aggravated (and more join in as we wait) that's not heartening. People come, stand on line, get their food, sit and eat (taking their time), leave...and we're still there. 40 minutes after our pickup time (an hour after ordering) for a burrito bowl and side of chips/queso? Horrible, horrible location! I was going to pick up an order that was already ready and there was a huge crowd of people outside waiting for their orders. They were doing the orders slowly one by one and when I called on the phone three times they hung up on me. I decided to go to a real Mexican restaurant down the street (Vida) and had an excellent meal.
