Honestly, what is going on here. It was just so bad. We got 2 burritos and 1 bowl as a pickup order. One of the burritos was completely torn open and spilling into the bag. I get it, sometimes they rip. But this burrito wasn't even rolled correctly. It was bizarre. It was like they didn't even try to roll it. The burrito bowl was barely full and just kind of tasted bad. I didn't think you could mess up chipotle, but this location proved me wrong. Never again, hingham chipotle. Never again. Oh, one more thing. There was a massive group of people waiting for their pickup order. There was probably 10 prepared bags of pickup orders just sitting behind the counter and no one seemed to consider to shout out names as orders were completed. Really weird. While I was waiting for my order I also witnessed 2 people have to come back to the counter because something was incorrect about their order. read more

I love chipotle but the Hingham location is a disappointment. The place is always messy. Food all over the floor, tables and counters. They always seem understaffed. They also need a better system for online/pickup orders. When a pickup order comes through, they stop taking orders from the people waiting in line. All the workers stop and it's like 7 people are working on putting sour cream on this one pre ordered taco. They need a better system or one person devoted to assembling online orders. But really- this place needs to be cleaner. That is my biggest issue besides the overall lack of speed. This is a restaurant. Do not order online/by phone at this Chipotle! Even if you order double meat, you will get half a single serving. Last time I ordered online, I picked up my burrito bowl (before taking the cover off) and it felt empty. very little food in the bowl, terrible. read more

I ordered online from here yesterday, my order was missing chips and guacamole and chips and queso. This was no stress, I understand it's hard to work in a restraunt during a global pandemic! I was very offended that the man who brought out my missing items made an inappropriate and uncomfortable comment about my appearance. I was at Chipotle earlier today I witnessed a staff member being rude to a black man. There was a 15 customer capacity in the restaurant. The man was standing in the breezeway of the doors in train restaurant . He was asking her why was he told that his order was ready and they're still a wait? The staff member told the black man to "get the fucl out." and threatened to call the police on him. She told him "everyone else is leaving and standing outside when I tell them to." I was totally surprised and upset by what I witnessed.I reported the incident to the manager and was told that "she was just overwhelmed with it being so busy." Whoever oversees the staff at this location should be fired. I've given this store too many chances. Once again tonight my order was incorrect. I ordered a steak salad to go. I got home and realized there was no steak. Just lettuce, salsa, rice and about half of a cup of sour cream. I couldn't even eat it, so it went in the trash. Oh what a load of garbage. Absolutely deplorable!! The entire place reminds me of a cavity. The hygiene in this place is one of a homeless man. I saw the trash bin overflowing with garbage. Smelled like a puddle in Providence !! I could see the dirt between the employees finger nails !! You know I figured they would have cleaned up their ask after the E coli outbreak. Seriously, does this chipotle have the longest lines all the time or is it just me? Even earlier in the day when it didn't look like a ton of people were out, the line seemed to wrap around the restaurant and move slow. I'm not a particularly patient person when it comes to food, but I had a gift card I'd been needing to use so I made myself wait in line. Correction, I saw the line, got in it, became irritated by its length, got back out of it, and then was reminded that it's free food and came back in. Really, this review is based on the line itself. I can't tell if it's the speed of the servers or just that this is the nearest store for a lot of people. Just anticipate a wait here for whatever reason it occurs. After living off Chipotle throughout college and a frustrating shopping experience at Derby Street, I figured I would stop in to pick up a quick dinner. After not having Chipotle for many years (once I wised up and realized that a burrito a day was not the healthiest of options), I was actually kind of excited to have it. First off, the staff really did not seem friendly. In fact, several of them stood to the side whining that they were working late, would be busy up until closing time, and did not feel like waiting on the last customers of the night. Ugh. It was the weekend before Christmas, mind you... it's not like shopping centers were busy. I ordered a burrito bowl and it was bland at best. The salsa was extremely runny and the chicken had no flavor. With a glob of cheese, a handful of lettuce thrown on top, the woman working behind the counter quickly yelled "NEXT!" to the next patron. Was I in third grade again in the lunch line all over again? So Chipotle, I enjoyed the relationship we had in college, but consider this our breakup now. Subpar food and shitty service. It's not me. Every other Monday night we have dog class so we need a really quick dinner. It is officially Chipotle night. I'm not really going to write a review of the food at Chipotle because it's the same everywhere, but the staff is super friendly at this place. Once I left my purse here (like an idiot) and when I called the next day about it they were really helpful. The one thing I will say about Chipotle's food is that it's consistent. It always tastes the same, no matter where you get it. In terms of getting something that tastes decent, and getting it quickly, Chipotle delivers. I also forgot to mention the real reason we go here on dog training nights. It's a pretty intense class and our trainer instructed us to bring "high yield" treats so the dog will be more attentive. You'd be amazed at how well behaved he is when we pull out that "side of Chipotle chicken pieces" that we order just for him. read more

This store does not care about its customers. They make people wait out in the cold for their food. They restrict the payment method to the Chipotle app , making it impossible to pay cash. There is no inside seating despite it being allowed by the state. The food is quite good and the employees helpful, so this is aimed at management only. read more

While I still eat here all the time I find that the Hingham branch has gotten consistently worse in comparison to the other chipotles. The service is OK but the food is generally below par. The chicken is burnt more times than not and all of the items are extremely salty. I eat at Chipotles probably 60-80 times per year and find that this is my least favorite (unfortunately it is also the most convenient). The North Quincy shop is much better in terms of quality of food. read more

If I could give this place a 0 I would, well not the place but its rude employee Susan. Every time I walk into chipotle she is absolutely rude, I never pay it mind no one is happy at work. This time though to tell me paying customer to get the F*** out after I hand you 30$ to pay for my food is absolutely ridiculous and should not be overlooked. I'm a fan of Chipotle, but the Hingham location completely and utterly fails at its one job: speed. I've attempted to go here once in the winter and once today, both times the line was out the door and not moving. This is not a case of Chipotle being so popular that they're swamped. No, this is a case of inept management and mouth breathing high school kids not being able to handle the simplest of jobs. This is how a typical order goes: burrito bowl. White or brown rice? Black or pinto beans? What kind of meat? Mild, medium or hot salsa? What toppings? Check out. Total order time from beginning to end should be under a minute. MEH. Chipotle is way over rated. I like their business model and the message they send. They are often in convenient locations for me so I eat at Chipotle from time to time. For a chain burrito, I might be more inclined to Qdoba but nothing beats an authentic spot like Tacos Lupita in Haverhill or a taco truck in Boston. Their offerings aren't incredibly awesome and I am not a fan of their Guacamole. Unfortunate, because this is a staple for my family. We ordered via the web at 3:30 this afternoon and requested pickup for 5:00 - an hour and a half. So what happens when I show up at 5:00? No order (you'd probably guessed that). So the manager is called in to put our order together, which takes about fifteen minutes (the whole process). The restaurant is typically crowded, no more or no less than any other Sunday, and things are moving slowly. People that I passed at the door were just making it along the grill on the right of the place by the time I got my food. So, the kicker? I asked if there was any consideration for waiting fifteen minutes over. There was none - not only no concession, but an excuse instead of an apology! Yes, I fished for money, because, hey, five mouths to feed with one away at college, but I would have settled for an, "I'm sorry." I got neither. Instead, a "we're very busy" was all that was offered. I suppose that I should have known that, given that they had ninety minutes from the time the order was placed until the requested time for pickup.... Too bad. Maybe we'll head to Braintree instead of Hingham next time. read more

This chipotle tends to have a line, be patient it moves quickly. Always fresh, delicious every time! Love Chipotle! Glad to see they have their online app back. I suggest using that if you are going during peak hours. My favorite? Burrito bowl with brown rice, black beans, steak , tomato salsa, cheese and lettuce. I stopped getting the guacamole because of the added calories and extra charge. Don't forget to grab a beer with your dinner! Can you believe they serve beer here? Only bottled, but still!! I've been coming to this chipotle for over 3 yrs and have never had a problem until today but my husband has been complaining to be about it here for a few months now! There are too many ppl working "hanging out " leaving the work for very few ppl to handle ! In the middle of our order they stopped it to take online orders and forgot about my husbands burrito and that my sons quesadilla was cooking and tried giving me a burnt one until I told them to remake it and I had remind them again to take it out so it wouldn't burn again! The worst Chipotle!!! I work for DoorDash and on average I wait 30-45 minutes longer than expected. Multiple times the restaurant has lost customer's orders, so I have to reorder them for the customer. They need better management and trained employees. I have been a Chipotle fan for a very long time since the first one in the area opened in Dedham. I understand those who may think the line is confusing, but I honestly think it is the new staff still learning the ropes. They have been open for a month, so give them a chance! But seriously the food is fresh and amazing. I personally recommend the carnitas (pulled pork) in a fajita burrito with the guacamole. The chips and salsa are also delicious but not always necessary since the burritos are amazingly filling. For a chain, this is as good as it gets! read more

Really shitty service plenty of people working but the guy making the burritos was an absolute fuck, i asked for light mild tomatoes he loaded the fucking thing up, only gave me half a scoop of chicken, way to much sour cream and cheese and way to much rice I had to throw away my burrito halfway because there was absolutely no chicken in it. Place isn't very sanitary either probably my worst experience at chipotle so far and I've been eating (not at this location) for years and has been way better then what i just experienced especially paying for 9.57$ for a burrito that's highway robbery for what i just got, i expect i much more quality burrito for the price especially when you can go to any pizza place and order a full medium pizza for that price.s read more
