The typical Wendys experience entirely better than all the other reviews with extremely friendly service from the good guy Justin behind the counter who came around later to make sure we were happy with our meals. We dropped in mid-afternoon on a Friday and found quite quick service. We both went for the bourbon burger which I enjoyed but I don't think they added extra sauce for my friend who did the double patty. I had a good amount of sauce for my single but would bet it's not as saucy with extra meat. Weirdly despite the advertising height the fries are still nothing to brag about; Golden Arches and Arby's still got this ginger girl's spuds beat. That's okay because I love the new chili with the extra veggies in it and really get fries anyway. Still hoping to see more original sandwich and burger items that offer the five guys and meat heads experience in a more budget friendly better processed ingredients chain. read more

I stopped for breakfast with my wife. We went through the drive-through. The girl who answered and took the order seemed pissed off that we were trying to order food. I ordered a bottle of water and ended up getting a cup of water, but when I went to correct her, she had already closed her little side window and did not return. The croissant was not a croissant, but I don't necessarily blame the store for that. The potatoes were really good and that's the only reason I would give them one star. However, based on the very rude service I received, I would like to rent this zero stars. Only now, that I'm leaving this review I see other people also left a one star review. This has to be the worst Wendy's I've ever been to ! First off all , being in the drive thru with only 4 cars and no customers inside , I was told to wait .... which tithe into 15 minutes . I decided to park and go inside instead . The cashier acted like she just rolled out of bed . Had her personal earbuds in , couldn't near me when I spoke ( obviously!) . Slower than a snail . Food was prepared w no care whatsoever. Cheese not even melted , luke warm EVERYTHING . As far as cleanliness .... the cashier could be doing her part instead of standing around . Stopped by on our way home from STL for a rest break and some food. 1. This was not fast food... waited 15 minutes before someone would take our order... no acknowledgement of us either. It took another 15 minutes to get our 2 Frostys and 1 6 count chicken nuggets (I ended up ordering them over the sandwich I originally was going to order as I knew it would likely be longer to get a sandwich and I saw the nuggets were already made and ready...) 2. Poor sanitization - while waiting for our food I used the restroom - very dirty with no TP or paper towels. While waiting for our food I witnessed multiple poor food handling - one of the workers was not wearing gloves when handling food (the cashier who is touching everyone's money and the cash register). Witnessed him physically touching someone else's chicken nuggets that fell on the counter and pick them up with his hand and serve to them. Horrible. waited in drive through and never got our order taken after 10 minutes. went inside and was helped. 5 minutes later the grill guy comes and tells us the lobby is closed. After telling him we had already been helped he started yelling and calling me a B along with other profanities. Sasha, the manager on duty, comes over and says the lobby is closed and we need to leave. I told her that 4 other people had seen us there and no one said anything. Says they are open till midnight. Door is open but they were "out" of lots of different food.

Ordered delivery and store associates forgot 2 double burgers, and 1 drink. Doordash driver Amy Sims went back 2 times to complete order and was met with a wendys associate who screamed ate her and threw the completed order at her. Associate was angry a belligerent Driver was professional and courteous , and she was upset order wasn't complete, snd was upset how the wendys associate acted . Avoid this place! The person at the cash register was friendly and cheerful. I feel bad leaving this review, because he was super awesome. But even so, I wouldn't recommend anyone stop here because it's terribly mismanaged and too dirty/gross. This is probably the most disgusting fast food restaurant I've been to. They clearly have sub-par standards for cleanliness. The men's room was grody. The soap dispenser was empty, in pieces on the sink. (Seriously, take 5 minutes, run over to CVS down the block, and buy a household soap dispenser until you can fix it.) The paper towel dispenser was empty too. And the floor was wet/sticky from who knows what. "Employees must wash hands before returning to work", but how can they? Let that sink in for a minute!!!! Both ketchup dispensers were empty. I alerted them, but they were still empty when we left. They were also out of chili. I heard the manager say they were running low on fries, and to go light on them for the rest of the night. It was only 6pm. The condiment area needed to be tidied up, lots of little trash from straws, lids, ketchup cups, etc strewn about. Both garbage bins were dirty with ketchup and food scraps on the outside. Needing to be wiped down. The floors were dirty. My wife said the ladies room was gross too. When leaving, I noticed a lot of trash outside the door in the parking lot. This is a newly renovated building... how can they let it get so disgusting so quickly? Utter negligence or just laziness. PSA -DON'T go to Wendys in Hannibal if you want to use bathroom or wash your hands because they dont have either of those things in a working order...makes me wonder how do the employees wash their hands? They had over 6 staff members which is plenty to be taking more orders. The workers straight up ignored a customer trying to tell them their drink fountain was broken. Very bad experience at Wendy's tonight. Ordered large chill, the lady said we don't have any large containers, only small. After getting to the window, paid for our food, got our drinks, was asked to pull up. Not sure why we were asked to pull forward as there no one behind us at that time. Several vehicles went by us as we waiting and still no food. Finally went in to find out where our food was to hear they had forgot about us and had not made up our order. If you want to wait 30 minutes with 2 cars in line for 2 small different orders, then Wendy's in Hannibal is your place to go! The entire staff is flustered regardless if it is rush hour or not. We waited half an hour for 4 sandwiches and a couple fries, and were told to pull forward with nobody behind us. They put all of the sandwiches for 2 small orders in 4 different bags and then tossed it very rudely into our car without any decency whether the food spilled or not. My expectations of a fast food restaurant are low...be affordable, quick, and smile at me. Not too hard. However, this place was the biggest zoo I've ever seen in a restaurant. There were SO many people working and no one knew what was going on. If you can picture throwing 20 dogs, 20 cats and 20 birds in one cage...that's what it was like. The people in front of me actually told me good luck when I ordered, I should've taken that as a sign. When we did finally get to order, the food took forever. When they gave me our food, my cheeseburger was actually dripping grease and the entire wrapper was SOAKED in it. If I thought the people there could've made it any better, I would've taken it back. I had to use 3 napkins to soak up the grease on the meat before I could even attempt to eat it and it still continued to drip down my hand. I've never seen anything like it. Never again will I stop at the Wendy's in Hannibal, Mo. We were traveling through Hannibal and was in a hurry to get on to St. Louis, so we used the drive-thru. I asked for unsweetened tea and received sweetened tea. Both hamburgers were room temperature.
