Tired of this place I live down the block so it is convenient, I always go to get a Parmesan Cesar and some how they never get it right. I ask for home style they give me grilled, I ask for extra croutons, they forget the croutons I say no tomatoes, there are tomatoes. I try my best to be nice and understanding but it happens quite consistently the incompetence is actually quite baffling. Not to mention the employees aren't even nice not even really bearable, some will stare into your soul and sound like they want to get into a scuffle, others will give you an attitude when you ask if they understand and got your order and they Still MESS it UP. It was a waste of 16 dollars for some depressing salads that had more tomatoes than lettuce. Wendy's you got to do better not coming here anymore. read more

1 star only so I can review it. They never have large cups for large drinks- for some odd reason. It takes them at least 2 minutes to talk to you through the speaker even with no line. Attitudes from a lot of employees but not all of them. They made me pull forward for 2 medium dr peppers.... what is going on here? read more

Horrible service I ordered a apple chicken salad through the drive thru and had to wait ten minutes after paying for it in line. I ended up going inside because I got tired of waiting. I used to see how busy the drive thru is and would think wow they have good food now I know it's the slow service. read more

This is the worse Wendy's in Hamden. Do not come here especially if you're in a rush. Waited 45 minutes for a 10 pc nugget. Never received it and got a refund. The manager doesn't intervene or help the workers in a rush. Sad. read more

This location is a joke. I do not understand why they have all those people working at one time to always mess up your order and half ass doing their jobs. Every time I go to this location to get something quick I'm always waiting in a long line whether it is the drive thru or walking in. Then when I order, my order is always wrong. The last three times i have gone here have been absolutely irritating. The first time I ordered a salad they didn't have the salad I wanted but didn't tell me that until after paid. I didn't want anything else so I asked for my money back. It took the manager on duty so long to come to the register to enter her code to unlock the drawer did not apologize just walked up said nothing enter her code and walked away. The second time our food wasn't cooked all the way and the sandwich was just thrown together cheese wasn't melted. Of course they had a whole attitude because we wanted it done the right way. If you would have just taking your time the first time you wouldn't have had to do it a second time. Then today which is my absolute last time going to this location, I ordered a salad and wanted homestyle chicken. Whom ever was preparing the food literally open the salad cut of the chicken tossed it on top and didn't shut the container and you had to know it wasn't on there all the way because by time I got the bag and open it after pulling off half of the salad was in the bag. I drove back around got out the car brought it inside and of course like always they are pissed because it wasn't done right and they had to do it again. Then come To find out they didn't have the salad dressing to go with the salad I ordered. No one even bothered to tell me that when I ordered. At that point I just want my money back. No I will not come back, no I will not recommend this location. Please ask if y'all can train again and take some damn pride in your work. If you don't like your job find another one. Wendy's is by far the best of the fast food burger joints. But this one NEVER gets my order right. The people working the drive-thru are always rude and cut you off mid-order, usually when you're telling them the information they are asking about. Tip: if you order your burger by the number rather than the name, even if you're just getting the sandwich, you'll have better but not perfect luck. Forget about asking for them not to include something. Ask for no ketchup, you get extra ketchup. Ask for no onions, you get ONLY onions. Simply getting the wrong sandwich I can live with, but if someone hates something and asks for their sandwich without it, it ruins it to the point of being uneatable. It will all be correct on the receipt, but doesn't come out that way. One time, when they asked me to pull up and wait (which I hate...serve people in the order they come through the drive thru), they gave my bag to someone else and gave me theirs. I then parked and went in to explain, and they said, "well is that okay, can you just take what they ordered?" Are you KIDDING me??? Get it together, Wendy's. I want to love you. read more

Had to wait 20 minutes for our food from the drive through while the THREE cars behind us got their food immediately. When we finally received our food and asked what took so long, the woman who brought it over responded, "you want fresh food right?" So why did the three cars behind us get their food first? I had went through the drive thru today and asked for the Jr bacon 4 for 4. I asked that the food be fresh and hot. My food was garbage. Old nuggets that you can tell was put in a microwave. Bacon on my burger was old and hard. I just threw my food out. Anyone can start a business but its the customers that keep the business. If you people working here isn't going to feed your kids garbage why give it to someone else. Everyone at this Wendy's needs a health and customer service training class. I would be notifying the health authority department of this nastiness and do hope you guys change the way u serve food. read more

Like Burger King next door, it often seems a shock to workers that people come in at lunch time and are hungry. Service is often slow and they screw up orders so often it's ridiculous. And food quality. I went to a Wendys in Westchester NY recently. Place was clean, service was great, food was FRESH. Food quality here does not seem fresh. Heck, the lettuce I get here on a sandwhich just looks disgusting. Yet in a Wendy's in NY, it was fresh, crisp and looked like it does in the pictures. No service with a smile here, place is not clean and often has a bad smell to it. I think what it comes down to with some places in Hamden, the people that work there and run the place just do not care, that much is certain. Fire these people and whoever owns it, get a new owner. Hire people that are thankful to work and care. read more

This is one of the WORST Wendy's I've ever had the misfortune to frequent. The frosty machine was broken and they didn't even bother to include the dressing for my salad in the bag. They are always slow and have a lousy attitude. There needs to be some serious changes made, including new management who will ensure their employees actually do their job. read more

This Wendy's is nasty, I ordered a side salad from them today and it's a good thing I decided to pour the salad into a larger plate to toss the dressing because there was a large roach in it! Thankfully it was dead, when I called to complain they told me to bring it back to them and they would refund me!
