I ordered 2 of their chicken maple breakfast sandwiches and both of them are sad looking with a cheap piece of egg instead of chicken. I feel like I was robbed. Gave my Uber eats order to a random person, wouldn't remake the order.terrible service all around

Got a chicken wrap picked it up and I had food all over me- not a wrap, just a pile of salad on a flat wrap! Then I neglected to ask if the iced tea was unsweetened - what I wanted was a little lemonade in iced tea And got a sweetened mess! Mmm his answer was well i didn't ask ... didn't known there was an option!! Avoid this place - and I NEVER review places or things but I had to say this. read more

I walked in and ordered a junior bacon cheeseburger. It was served to me fairly quickly. I also ate it fairly quickly in the car. I was happy with both the service and the burger. read more

It's bad. They serve junior meals at full price if they run out of patties. This is normal here. Do not go here, go anywhere else. The BK is probably better. The Grocery store is better. Next time serve what we order or don't charge us for what we order. read more

What's is going on with all these Fast Food places. We are still in COVID and they lacked using gloves before and it's even more important now. Stopped by you are being rushed through the drive thru and then they take your money at the window and then touched the cups and lids with the same hands. The ambiance is dark nothing special. This location has lost they credentials with me. I am big in on customer service as well as being sanitary. Apparently the Mgrs don't card so why should the employees. They touch their face, hair AB's bodies and then touch our foods..SMH read more

We went after a concert @ almost midnight and the drive thru Lady was so friendly and they got the whole order right. We went thru a second time to ask for more sauce and they were still nice. Fries could use more salt so maybe ask for that. read more

It was a long wait more than 15 minutes to place an order. The staff were playing and joking around. They finally took our money and handed us our food.... the fries were tepid! I gave them back and asked for hot fries...they gave me hot fries with no salt. I really can't make this up. read more

Cashier told a lady waiting dont order if you dont wanna wait... she has been waiting for a half hour. Very rude staff. Shes also mumbling about all the customers. If i didnt already pay and place and online order i wouldve walked out. Super uncomfortable and awkward. They also have no napkins. Needs new management and a whole new staff. read more

Workers here are terrible, Always at 12am-close they start saying the system freezes, that they can't take orders or that they are only taking cash they can't take cards. Does the manager not notice? Will be trying to get in touch with corporate. read more

I have a simple question about this location of Wendy's: why does it not have mustard? It's my fave burger condiment, it's included on the company's website for a bunch of their sandwiches, and yet -- every single time I ask for "no ketchup or mayo" -- I get a bare burger. Other than that, this branch is notable for its extraordinarily long wait in the drive-thru. If you arrive and see more than four cars ahead of you, just give up and go next-door to Burger King. Figure about five minutes per car. And, no, nothing is fresh and hot and worth the wait; it's just managerial incompetence. read more

I just ate their queso fries for the first time and they were SO GOOD. POBLANO CHEESE I LOVE YOU!!!!!! Also I don't know her name but the very short black lady is an angel. She's always so nice even when there are a lot of people in the restaurant and it's stressful. I guess if I had to talk about the ambiance I really enjoy the sunny corner with the tall chairs. The big letters that spell out "breakfast" provide some very nice shade that you can move your chair to sit behind! read more

I went today after having not gone for quite some time because the freshness of their food, like their cust service, is lack luster. I was hoping things would have improved in the time I was gone. Unfortunately this experience was the WORST I'VE EVER HAD @ ANY WENDYS!! MNGMNT NEEDS TO BE REPLACED AS WELL AS SOME OF THE EMPLOYEES!! I ordered nuggets and fries and EVERYTHING WAS STALE, and this was around lunch time. WHY IS FOOD STALE, ESP AROUND LUNCH TIME??? That and in the a.m. is when the food should be it's freshest! I'm so confused. Then the cashier in the drive through did not greet me, but they NEVER do, or thank me, which they ALSO NEVER DO. Why?once again, mngmnt is to blame! If I received stale food w/horrible c.s. I'm sure I'm not the only 1 who WASTED their HARD EARNED money on this place! I've got the mind to contact corporate!! RIDICULOUS!! read more

I love wendys but this Wendy's in on a whole different level we had to wait a half hour to get our food and it was cold smdh man

This location is so disrespectful, unorganized and very not into their work. I asked for my receipt and felt like it was a heavy chore to do stating "We dont do receipt". Then the person taking orders is rude, impatient and sounded off with employees at the drive thru explaining how much he hates his job. In 2021 almost 2022, you think these dirty rugrats of a generation Z kids would be thankful of just working. But no. Truly ungrateful. And the manager heard this along with others in the establishment also in the drive thru, and decided to hide in the back and not calm down atmosphere. Will not be visiting this location ever again. Corporate must do better to get people who are about what they signed up for and not those tearing a reputation down just to slouch be lazy and want a quick pay. read more

If I could give this place no stars I would. Literally do not waste your time coming to this Wendy's. Not only have they messed up EVERY SINGLE doordash order that I have placed by forgetting items and ingredient trying to order in the store is a miserable experience. I waited in line for 20 minutes to order and not a single person in front of me got their order taken. Eventually I asked what the wait time was going to be as they had not taken a single order since I arrived. The woman walked away from me with no response so I asked again. She turned to the man working with her and said "do you want to tell them the wait time" which I assumed meant they would not be taking orders anytime soon. This is by far the slowest fast food place I have ever been to and the people working can't even tell the customers what the wait time is. Not only that but they will 100% get something wrong in your order every single time. read more

I'm pretty sure my unborn child graduated high school before I ever got my order in the drive thru at this place. Seems no matter what time of day you come here, you're sitting in the line for at least 10 mins. Took about 20 for this trip. Looks like they can only handle 1 car at a time at this point and even then I sat at the order board for 5 minutes after a car left the window. Not sure if it's a staffing issue or a talent issue, but honestly, they take the fast out of fast food EVERY SINGLE TIME. read more

waited for 10 minutes at the drive thru speaker - the person in front of me eventually drove off without being serviced. When they finally answered and I paid at the window, I was told to pull up by the side door and my food would be brought out. 20 min goes by with multiple people behind me being served their food at the window (I didn't order anything elaborate, just a #6). I go inside and am ignored by the woman at the register when I ask what the delay is about. After waiting inside for another 10 min, another customer helped me get the attention of the person working the drive thru window who quickly throws together a sandwich and slams the bag down in front of me without a word. Really bizarre experience and worst Wendy's I've been to read more

They always say they don't have what you order for food. Customer service is trash. I was in line yesterday at the drive through for literally a hour and 15 mins From 12:50 AM until 2:05 AM and the food was cold and wrong. Employees are rude at the window and on the intercom Do not recommend this place to anyone honestly. And the owners and Corporation NEED TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS LOCATION. read more

Spent $11 for one meal. The fries and burger taste like they were made HOURS ago. Both cold and inedible. Ordered unsweetened iced tea and they even got that wrong. The tea is very sweet. I threw everything out and spent more money for a proper meal elsewhere. I rarely get fast food and this is probably going to be the last time for a long time. What a waste! read more

So incredibly slow. Only one in line and have been waiting 17 minutes. 7 other cars have now gotten their orders and I still have not.

When I told them that I had not received my fries in the order I placed in the drive-thru two days earlier and asked them to replace them as part of today's order I was told no. When I tried to explain this to the manager he said I was being "rude" but that he would replace them (as if he were doing me a favor) I've been a customer or Wendy's for years This was AWFUL customer service read more

If you drive for a food delivery service, when they switch to drive through only at night, don't even bother with this place. Idk if to the night manager is the dude with the black do-rag who works the window but he's a arrogant jerk that if you have multiple orders will not do them together he insists you have to go around again. They never ever ever have anything ready even if the order was s soda and fries they don't have anything ready and you will sit there and wait for a minimum of 20 minutes so if your driving Uber they are going to tell you to bounce. Door dash is different you could be in the middle of a alien invasion and they don't want you to cancel. So heed my adviice don't bother picking up the Wendy's on Dixwell Ave in Hamden orders at night. It's not worth it and besides 90% of them are no tip $2 - $2.75 ones anyways. Stay away from here and yes they pick up there phone when support calls them too. read more

Blame it on the lack of remotely decent fast-food places in Hamden (Burger King is inedible now) or just us being hungry, but I decided to give Wendy's another try a few months ago. I love the Biggie Bags & to my surprise...the food was good. Even the fries were hot & not too salty. So, myself & my friends started going there again. We use the drive-thru now, as the door to get into this place LITERALLY needs superhuman strength to open!! But fast-forward to the present: The food's quality began to go downhill again. The topper, though: One afternoon the woman speaking through the drive-thru said something like ".....have to come inside." I was confused, but I did. The aformentioned tough-to-open door was bad enough...I have a bad arm & it was brutal. But I did it. Once I walked in, I saw several WET FLOOR signs. There was squashed burger pieces & tomato pieces strewn on the floor. Several employees were standing around behind the counter, talking to each other. Yet no one was even trying to clean up the food-covered floor. Some workers had hoodies or sweatshirts on, and didn't even look like employees. The man that took my order was nice, he seemed nervous but he helped me. I HATED that self-serve soda machine! I so wish that fast-food places had never installed those machines. They never work correctly & the soda goes all over the place & the screen never 'stays' long enough for you to fill your cup correctly. Is it so tough to fill soda for in-restaurant customers?? Does it take THAT long?!! The fact that this place is so messy & the food not so good now....I guess I'll wait a few more months once again....to see if it improves. read more

This Place SUCKS! I would easily give this spot 0 stars if i was able to. The current staff, horrible. Last time i came here the service was just as horrible. Nobody in line and sat here for 20 minutes. Last time, i waited 45 minutes for 10 nuggets and a drink. This time, i had to tell them my order at the window where you pay because they didn't enter it when i told them at the speaker. Told them 3x and they still got it wrong. Idk where these workers are coming from but this location deserves to get shut down or fire all your staff, they don't want to work and sure as hell don't act like they want a job. I've never reviewed a spot before but this place is horribly bad. Usually low reviews on fast food spots don't matter because most are like 2 or 3 but this spot is actually atrocious. I hope corporate sees this and clean sweeps this building of its management and employees. read more

20 minutes in drive through -not moving. Has happened multiple times at this location. Get your staffing sorted!!!!

Normally I don't write reviews but I've had enough with this location in Hamden Connecticut. Came through came 3 times and that wasn't enough to realize I will not be returning as a customer. 1st time going I waited and drive-through over 10 minutes for them to tell me all machines are broken and they cannot take any orders. Why not have a staff member come out and let the cars know so we aren't waiting in line for no reason. Another time I went they are always out of food or condiments it's. I've asked for salads, Baked potato and other things and they're always out of stock. Staff is also unprofessional.. When you walk in you hear cursing in the back kitchen area also is not cleaned. Staff is wearing is wearing hoodies and hats hats so faces are unrecognizable are unrecognizable some staff members don't even have uniforms on. Instead of using their words like how can I help you they wave you over to the counter with their hand and don't even speak don't even speak. I felt like I walked into a backyard picnic instead of restaurant. Don't recommend going to this location. read more

Took me 3/4 times to come here to write this review. Between the long wait times for fast food unqualified employees and mistakes on orders this Wendy's is the worst. Probably amongst the worst Wendy's experiences to-date. The crew member taking orders did not speak at all clearly and then seemed offended when we needed her to repeat things. The team stared at our order sheet once it was printed for about 8 minutes, putting stuff on the tray, then taking it off before finally thinking it was right. We were shocked to get to our table and find that it had been right and tasted fine. In the restroom, the automatic soap dispenser was disabled which wasn't ideal in a less than clean restroom. Overall, just a challenging experience at the counter in not the cleanest environment. read more
