Clearly the gold standard for fast food! I have been frequenting for decades, originally while on holiday in AZ. What a delight to see the expansion into more markets and now one within an easy drive. Regardless of the crowd the restaurant is ALWAYS CLEAN, you are pleasantly greeted and your order politely delivered to your table! My son LOVES Chik-fil-a. For me, the food is nothing special, with one exception. We've been to several locations, mostly in the southern USA (North Carolina, Florida). Now that they have opened up in Connecticut, I am obliged to make a trip on a regular basis for the boy. Of course, the closest locations are 45-50 miles away... The North Haven restaurant is always busy when we go there- no matter what time you go. Despite the crowds, they do move people/cars through the line very quickly and efficiently. The entire queue was filled, winding down the aisle. Folks doubled up waiting for their order. From when we got off our car, the landscaping outside was gorgeous. It's clearly the summer for hydrangeas at Chick Fil A. There were bouquets of flowers on every table AND in the bathrooms which were super clean. As we went up to order, we were greeted multiple times "Welcome to Chick Fil A". We ordered inside and really appreciated how she repeated everything back to ensure our order was perfect. Our food came out quick, was delicious per usual. No one said a word at dinner because it was so good. When we were done, we were pleasantly surprised by the automatic trash cans. There was bin for unused sauces which was a great touch and good for the environment Without a doubt will be stopping by this location next summer on our roadtrip to the shore. First of all the quality of the food is up to the standards of the franchise. The staff was friendly and organized. I went inside and was waited on in 3 minutes. However the drive through line was almost out the parking lot. The inside seating area was small but nice. Off street parking was adequate. They were well organized inside, area for call in pickup, area to wait for your order, and seating was fine. Chicken sandwich and waffle fries are the best. We drove up to the North Haven Chick-Fil-A today & there were at least 40 cars in front of us. We'd like to commend whomever came up with their new drive thru procedure. It was fast & efficient and the staff was so courteous and helpful. We didn't even wait 10 minutes to get our food from the time we pulled into line. The food was delicious & was packaged perfectly. Efficiency and customer service are synonymous at Chic fil a. During the pandemic this location mobilized their team to provide A1 customer service. Their were lines wrapped around the building and every employee embraced me with a warm smile like I was the only customer they served all day. The food is delicious and consistent. Always hot and fresh, well seasoned and there are a variety of options. I sometimes enjoy the kale salad because it is really good. This time I couldn't resist the waffle fries. I absolutely love Chick-fil-A. I have tried their regular chicken sandwich , chicken deluxe sandwich and nuggets. My favorite go to is the spicy chicken deluxe sandwich and have found their sandwiches to be consist every single time I go. The chicken is nice and crispy and for the deluxe they always give you a decent sized lettuce and tomato. The waffle fries on the other hand can vary from being soft and under-cooked to nice and crispy. I did try the nuggets once and do not recommend them. They were smaller than expected for the cost. Both the drive thru and in store has fast and decent service. I love that they deliver the food to you when you dine in and have found someone cleaning up the store every time I dine in. What you need to do if you are utilizing the drive through is after you get your sandwich you do not go home, you do not drive either. Waffle fries are one of a kind and most definitely legendary I had to start the review with that because I never ate anything like that before and it took me to another world that's for sure. Chicken tenders are nice and hot always. I went to Chick Fil A on Universal Drive in North Haven Friday afternoon. I was greeted by a miserable girl with a name tag "Bella". She was the most disrespectful, unfriendly service member I've ever met. Bella appeared annoyed of our presence, rushed our order and actually rolled her eyes at my husband. I NEVER write reviews, but this needs to be said. This experience will prevent me from ever going to this establishment again. Stopped by this weekend with my husband for our cheat meal from our diets. As we pulled in, we debated drive-thru or going in to eat. Luckily, we chose drive-thru. As we waited in the incredibly long drive-thru line, (there was even two lanes! never have seen that before!) I ran inside to use the bathroom. Inside, I noticed the line almost out of the door as well....people were waiting at tables without food and additional people kept coming up to the counter inquiring how much longer it would be before their food was ready, complete chaos. The wait at the drive-thru was awhile, but bearable. We each got a chicken sandwich meal. The sandwiches were crispy and totally delicious. The waffle fries on the other hand, were absolutely bland, needed salt and could have used a bit more cooking time. Not a good use of our calories for the day. Blah. The seagulls in the parking lot had enjoyed them more than we did. We'll go back, but will try the nuggets, both grilled and crispy next time we venture there. But not getting those waffle fries ever again, just disappointing. read more

This particular Chick-fil-A is probably no different than any other Chick-fil-A: friendly employees, scrumptious chicken sandwiches, and packed interior. Seriously - it's always packed, even if you come at 3 PM for lunch. While the food consistently satisfies my fast food cravings, there are several gripes I have with the establishment. The first downside is that the drive-through takes FOREVER!! Anticipate a 20-30 minute wait every time, even longer during lunch peak hour. Do not go through the drive-through if you are in a rush. I do not know if there is a way to optimize drive-through flow. Also, the chicken sizes in the chicken sandwiches are often inconsistent. My boyfriend and I both ordered regular chicken sandwiches with no modifications, and my chicken slab was definitely at least 30% bigger. While both tasted excellent, the chicken breast sizes should at the very least be QC-ed and standardized. Some other menu items I've tried include chicken minis (the 4 piece breakfast sandwiches), the chicken nuggets, and Oreo milkshake. The chicken minis were alright, but the roll dough is a little too buttery and greasy. I would not recommend the chicken nuggets - for the same price, you could get an entire chicken sandwich, with a higher quality chunk of chicken. Their chicken nuggets are incredibly tender and soft, and I prefer my nuggets to have crispier texture on the outside. I would also recommend skipping the milkshake, because it was rather mediocre but on the pricier side. For the price, I would rather go to Dairy Queen. Regarding sauces, I recommend the classic Chick-fil-A sauce (obviously!), zesty buffalo (my go-to for dunking the chicken sandwiches) and the sweet and spicy Sriracha. read more

I have to say that this is my favorite fast food restaurant for fried chicken. Their chicken is amazingly delicious and flavorful, as well as the fries. Every time I come to this place I always order two Spice Deluxe Sandwich with pepper jack. I definitely recommend you to try it!....The restaurant is always clean and the staff members are very nice and helpful. Enough parking space which won't be an issue even if the place is really busy.
