Ok, so here's the good and the bad. The Good: Calories next to everything. (it's always good to know) food was reasonably edible but mine was, unfortunately, cold by the time I was able to eat it. Lots of people walking around looking busy so I guess they offer lots of jobs to the community. The Bad: It's Expensive! 2 people for lunch cost us $21.90 & I didn't even get a drink. Hubby got chicken club w/ fires and a medium drink I got 4 pieces of chicken strips, side salad, and soup YIKES! Lunch was actually cheaper at The LongHorn (table service) yesterday!! Long Lines - it easily took 20 minutes to get thru double lines. Then they screwed up my order & I actually had to go inside to get my buffalo sauce (to more long lines.) I specifically asked at the window for double buffalo sauce and no salad dressing. I got double Ranch (no idea how that came out of double buffalo sauce -but OK) & no buffalo sauce. When I went inside, I tried to wait patiently alongside of the register but was passed by a manager, what looked like the owner, and at least 4 staff members -with no one offering help. I actually wanted to help myself since I could see the buffalo sauce below the counter from where I stood! I couldn't even get eye contact from any of them (ugh!) All the while the girl at the register was taking peoples' orders and obviously busy. She was polite enough when she finally addressed me & of course gave me the buffalo sauce -but it ate up my entire lunch hour - when for less money and less time I could have been less stressed if I had gone to any of the sit-down restaurants nearby. read more

This is still the worst Chick-fil-A in the state...I only reluctantly went here today because my kids wanted a sandwich. As in a previous post, the employees remain awful...they ztill get an order wrong, they are rude, and refuse to let anyone speak with a manager. In addition, they now have orange posts all over the parking lot that cars have to figure out how to weave through to get in line, devoid of proper signs...really crazy. The franchise operator at this location really needs to get on management here. In contrast, the Chick-fil-A in Wallingford is great...quick and efficient, and the employees are very polite. read more

I arrived with three toddlers at 6:01 pm while people were still ordering and was turned away by a horribly rude supervisor,when I asked to talk to her supervisor, threatened to call the police on me and even while leaving, did call someone and read off my license. She terrorized all of my children, who all began to cry. Maybe she had had a bad day or was upset about having to work on New Years, but I was shocked at her rudeness and aggressive, non-proportional behavior, especially because Chik fil A prides themselves on good customer service. This fast food chain has set a new standard for what a family fast food restaurant should be. Right of the bat as you enter this establishment you will notice the expanse space with ample lighting. It is also very clean. The manager was engaged, visible and helpful. The staff is friendly and they make you wanna come back every time you thought of food. I often wonder how they find our seat as they serve us our food. I have nothing bad to say and having to drive 1/2 to go here doesn't even bother me. Worth it read more

I would like to take this moment to extend a special thank you to both the management and staff of the Chick Fil A on Universal Dr in North Haven Ct. On Friday March 20th 2020, during the difficult time with the coronavirus restrictions our family had a craving for the great chicken served at this restaurant! I made the 15 minute trip and when I arrived I was faced with a huge long drive up line!! I actually took a picture and sent it to my waiting family! I counted 20 cars ahead of me! However, to my great surprise there were several employees outside taking orders in a quick and orderly fashion. In minutes I was being greeted by and waited on by a very polite young woman . I was then told to proceed forward where my order would be brought to me! Within moments I was presented with two bags of hot food!! I was thanked for my business and was wished a good day by a young man at the window! Their professionalism and welcoming personalities were such a breath of fresh air!! Even after driving home the food was hot and quite delicious!! I really recommend if you haven't tried Chick-Fil -A next time you want a hot delicious meal put this restaurant at the top of your must try list! You won't be disappointed! I don't agree with this company's politics but damn I love their chicken! I don't go often but when I get a craving, I have to come through. The line is ridiculously long whether you dine in or do drive thru. That seems to the case with every location I've ever been to. We decided to be civilized and not eat in the car for once. Despite the long line that spilled over into the dining area, we were able to order and get our food within about 15 minutes. The place was spotless and the workers were very friendly. After eating our nuggets and fries, we were thirsty but weren't even thinking about getting back into that line to order more drinks. That's when a worker just walked over and asked us if we'd like refills! We were amazed. She even asked my fiancé if he wanted more ice added to his cup. We've eaten here or done drive thru several times since they opened and have been happy every time. The chicken is delicious - we've had sandwiches, nuggets and salads and liked everything. The lemonade is the real deal and their unsweetened iced tea is decent (key for me). The only thing I'm not a fan of is their fries, which I find bland and not crispy enough, so personally I go without them. I don't mind though, since the chicken is good enough to make up for it. The restaurant itself was just built so it's sparkling neat and clean. Service has been fast and friendly at the counter, but lines can be quite long due to popularity so plan for that a the busy times. It's also a very family friendly place. Today I was there with my daughter who had a bandage after getting stitches the night before. A woman I think was the manager came and chatted with us, was very sweet with my daughter, and gave her free ice cream (after clearing it with me!). Their kids meals are good and so far have come with small games we can play together instead of junky toys from the latest movie. They have a play area for toddlers, though it does exclude older kids that would be allowed in play areas at McDonald's. Tough for the older ones, but surely safer for the little guys, so that's a plus or minus depending on your kids age. I have to note that they are closed on Sundays, which is a minus for me as that's a day I'm likely to be running errands and want to eat out if we're out together or pick something up to bring home. Stopped by after the movies. Bright and clean, staff extremely helpful. Line wasn't that long, but the manager opened another window. Food came out just as we were seated. Tasty sandwich, free drink refills, choice of sauce, all for a good price. Menu is not extensive, but I guess that helps keep the quality up. read more

During the grand opening, food was great. Chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Service was fast even with a slight mistake in the order but it was quickly fixed. Came back two weeks later and the burger and tenders were soggy. Fried soggy chicken with dry meat on the inside was such disappointment. Even the fries were soggy. Service was not as great as the opening weekend and tables were dirty. Just disappointed with chicken. We love chic-fil-a but this location sucks! With our baby in the car we decided to do a quick drive thru. I had to repeat my order 3 times because every time she repeated it, it was wrong. I only ordered 2 sandwiches (which were both the exact same) and a large fry! When we pulled up to the window they told us it wasn't ready so we had to pull to the side. and wait SIX, yes 6 minutes after already waiting in the drive thru line. Absolutely love this CFA - the only fast food place I go to. The food always tastes fresh, I tend to get the salads or grilled chicken wraps and the veggies are always fresh and crisp. The employees are always super nice and friendly. This place can get packed, so be prepared to wait a little if it's during prime lunch / dinner hours. Five stars is usually for perfection. I can objectively say this place isn't perfect, but the best Chick-Fil-A in Connecticut. The food is awesome more consistently than not, the service is excellent damn near always. Even when they've gotten the order wrong or the fries didn't come out hot or ti my liking they've always been willing to correct it. I always order the chicken sandwich meal with an 8 piece crispy entree. I usually get the barbecue sauce. But the sandwich is so good that there's no need for sauce. My one issue is the lettuce they use gets slime like or super soft quickly. Also, even though I ask for no pickles they usually put it on my sandwich and that ruins they bread. I never ask for another sandwich just a bottom bun and I'm good to go after removing the lettuce. Customer service is great, it's usually clean, they take your garbage and get you refills. The North Haven spot also has a plus that for a while they've offered 10 chicken minis no matter the time of day, other locations only offer them for breakfast! read more

I am not the "ranting" type especially regarding racial discrimination but "JOEL" approached every table around me asking how was the service and if he could take their tray. While my family and I waited to experience the same service. I watched as Joel walked past us numerous of times avoiding eye contact as if we were nonexistent. Being that I was the only person of color and watched everyone greeted except my family, I couldn't help but assume I was being discriminated against. I've been coming here for months and have never felt like this coming out of any restaurant. Clean, friendly and delicious. When it comes to "fast food", this place is the best. I love their chicken! If you hate chicken, don't go there, but hopefully this is not new info. I LOVE their nuggets and the Cobb salad. It's still very busy but the drive thru is typically much worse than inside so get out of your car if you want to save yourself time (and burn 8 calories). Went through the drive through and was told to park in the fire lane to wait. Sat there for 15 minutes until they gave my food to the car in front of me. I was then told to pull around front to wait some more. When I went inside to speak to the manager she gave me the food that was brought back inside from the wrong car. Disgusting. THEN had to go back inside because the bag was missing half the food. When I finally got home I noticed they didn't give any of the sauces I had asked for.
