I'm writing this while I'm still in the drive thru line because I'm so aggravated I don't know what else to do right now. I placed a mobile order and the inside was closing soon so I decided to set the pickup to the drive thru. Keep in mind there's only like 4-5 cars in the drive thru and the inside is just about empty. In this rural little town, there aren't many places open "late" past 10 pm in the area. When I'd get off work, it was one of the few places I was okay with to get a quick bite. However, as much as I love Wendy's for fast food chains (and of course I'm not expecting table service) I'm never going back to this location again. Besides a weird comment from the guy *not* taking my order, they misheard my order several times (it was a 4-for-4 with a frosty tag and extra sauce), and even when I corrected them (I never said vanilla, btw) they still fudged my order up. Everything was waaayyy oversalted too. I get it, I get it, I'm crying to the wolves here, but I've had other dumb experiences I don't get at other locations. Oh well. Staff was very friendly when we went in. Drive thru was busy, but inside was not. Our food? My husbands burger was cold, mine was hot but dry (overcooked). The restaurant inside needs some serious help. Ceiling tiles are stained from roof/ceiling leaks and track lighting is pulling out of the ceiling (those stained ceiling tiles won't hold weight). This place is absolutely horrid. I have gone time and time again because it's convenient and the potatoes are good. Trust me, it's not worth the time or the money. There is one man who works there who is awful. He told us to pull up rudely where we waited for about 7 minutes. Then came out to tell us we were in the wrong area without telling us where to go. So we parked in the mobile order area, sat for 5 more minutes and when no one came we had to go through the immensely slow drive through line to get our food which was cold by the time we finally got it 20 minutes later. As fast food goes, I like Wendy's the best for hamburgers. I had to stop going though because even over a long period of time, you can really pack on the pounds from these belly bombers. The service here is pretty good and the food is usually always hot. Drive up is usually a cluster around lunch time and you usually wait in line for ten minutes or so. I think not going back is a good decision for me, but if I did, the one thing I wish they would improve upon is assembly. I love Wendy's, if there's a fast food restaurant to visit, this chain is the one. My problems with Wendy's are personal and directed specifically at the Hadley store. The customer service there always seems to be lacking. When you come into the store, chances are you'll see a line that goes all the way back to the condiment counter. If you go here, you will wait 15 minutes to get your food at least 80% of the time. Even when the place is slow, some employees just avoid eye contact with you so they can take their time in getting your order. The middle-aged gentleman keeps the store moving. If every manager kept the place running like he did, this branch would receive 5-stars from me. read more

I'm sure the food is fine. The restaurant is clean. But I had a very specific, easy, request: no lid on the Frosty. Non-recyclable and all that. Didn't matter, apparently. "Have it your way" was a Burger King thing. Still, is is difficult for people to do something as simple as respect an environmentally friendly request? Yep. Can't be bothered to pay attention to an exception. It would be better to need to ask for a lid, I think. read more

I would give a zero star if I could. This was by far my worst experience at Wendy's. I used to frequent this particular Wendy's a great deal. Today I waited 15 minutes and still didn't give my order. In that time the cashier was taking one order, but spent the whole time visiting with the customer. There were others waiting in line. They left as did we. I will not go there again. I was in town for a couple days, and was staying at the hotel across the street. I decided to try and get a burger from this Wendy's. I went in, and approached the counter with a friendly "Hi, how you doin'?" The staff appeared to be more interested in laughing, and partying in the back, than serving customers. Noone said hello back. The 4 people behind the counter looked at me like I was an extraterrestrial or something. As if they had never seen a customer, and had no idea what I was doing there. I attempted to ask tor food, and was interrupted by the manager, who said "She'll be right back.", then one of them yelled to some unseen person to come up front, and take my order. I got the sense that they didn't want to serve me. I waited about 30 seconds, and simply walked away. I honestly don't think they gave a crap. I'm so glad I didn't let them make food for me. I'm sure it would have been aweful. The place was filthy, and the staff is extremely unprofessional. Including the manager. read more

Then when they did they asked me to hold for another 5 minutes. I lost my patience and left to go to their competitor! If there was an issue in the kitchen they just needed to say something. I've always been a fan of Wendy's and I've always had their back. Tonight, I learned that they don't have mine. It was a cold and snowy evening when I left my house tonight at 9:00. It took me 10 minutes alone to brush all the snow off my car. I was sweating bullets as I shoveled myself out of my driveway, all for what I thought was going to be a scrumptious and satisfying meal. I eagerly began to drive to Wendy's, not knowing what tragedy was awaiting me. It had been a long day in class so I thought to myself 'You know what? The hell with it I'll get two 4 piece nuggets' instead of my usual single 4 piece. Thrilled and enthused I drove home and dove into the fast food bag of wonders as soon as I hit my bed. Those emotions quickly changed to disappointment. I was only given a single 4 piece instead of my two. That peachy smile isn't fooling anyone, Wendy. You're a sly little devil of a girl and wouldn't hesitate to choke someone with those pigtails if you got the chance.
